We were now at our lunch table in school each one of us has his food in front of him but none of us touched it.

None of us talked or tried to start a conversation.

We were in deep understandable silent. None of us bothered by it.

"She brought bad luck to you guys when she came back with her little two followers." Sandra came out of nowhere spilling bullshit out of her mouth while folding her arms over her chest." Why are you still sitting with her Jason? She only brought you troubles and made Rick lay in the hospital between death and life."

I sighed rolling my eyes when Jane was going to stand up and beat her ass but I stopped her.

We aren't in the mood for any trouble or some stank's bullshit and jealousy.

"Jason baby you still can come to sit with us instead of that slut with bad luck that you are dating," Sandra spoke with her fake disgusting seducing voice running her hand along Jason's arm. That stank is touching what's mine. I swear she is calling for it.

Now she is approaching him more, her boobs in his face. Okay, that's hella enough this bitch need to remember how I kicked her ass.

I was going to attack her when Jason beats me and slammed his hands on the table harshly making a rough voice echoing through the entire cafeteria snapping all the student's attention to us as they all stopped talking or eating.

I swear the silent was so intense that you could hear when a pen drops on the ground.

"You don't dare to talk about Mia like that nor touch me with your dirty hands ever again Sandra," Jason yelled at her angrily resulting in her to flinch. "I am not in the mood for your shit and you know nothing about us so keep your bullshit for yourself or you will see another Jason got it?" That's my man, ladies and gentlemen.

This bitch needed to be put in her place and he definitely did the job.

However, I was looking forward to kicking her petty ass again.

"Got it?" Jason repeated his voice higher laced with anger as she flinched and jumped afraid nodding rapidly. I can see the tears forming in her eyes now while she kept shaking.

"Let's go! I have had enough of this shit." Jason said making his way out of the cafeteria with us following him.

To be honest none of us is in the mood for school but we come for exams and that shit so we clearly would jump on the first opportunity of us leaving that place.

A short car drive and we arrived at the restaurant which is close to the school that's usually where most of the students hang out.

We took a table beside the window as usual then Ben's phone rang and he went to answer then came back after a while.

"I have got some great news," Ben announced as soon as he sat back in his place.

"Spill it already," Adrian muttered.

"You know we have been looking for David since..." Ben trailed not able to mention Rick." Anyway, we found him a week ago as you all know but he is now back in town in his place."

After we found him a week ago we wanted to attack him and finish his damn life but Lindsey said that it would be better to wait and see his moves if he had any. And strangely he didn't try anything he kept hiding and traveling due to business matters but now he is back and we won't let this opportunity to slide out of our hands.

"Then we will attack him tonight." I decided and they all nodded.

"Does he has any security or something now?" Jason asked.

Ben nodded." Yes, our men informed me that he increased the security and brought so many bodyguards for him and his wife."

"Okay. I can go inside with Jason and you all with some of the gang's men can take care of the bodyguards?" I suggested.

They all nodded then Jason said, "yeah I guess that's the best we can do."

Of course, after Rick's accident, it wasn't my revenge on David anymore. No it was the whole gang's revenge with Lindsey as one of her men is injured because of that bastard and for her, they all are her family and kids.

"Can we help in anything?" Blake asked pointing at him, Ella and Jasmine who nodded.

"Yeah, we really want to." Jass agreed.

Jason shook his head. "No its better if you stay at the HQ. You will be safe there and you can watch and track us to make sure all of us are good."

"I want David for myself." I informed and they all looked at me now." I want to kill him myself."

"It's your call Mia. We all already know it." Adrian assured.

"But what about your stepmother?" Damon asked. "Should we kill her or..?"

I nodded." Definitely kill her! She was a stripper and a gold digger. she is a damn witch, she deserves it."

"I also made a background check on her and I found that she was dating The Loopies' gang leader. she was helping in selling drugs and that stuff with them." Adrian notified.

"Then she definitely needs to be dead. She isn't that innocent after all." Jane shrugged.

"So you all ready to end this?" Jason made sure before we make any move." I don't want any mistakes nor any injuries please I want all of us to get out of that mission safe." We all nodded smiling encouragingly and reassuringly to each other then each one of us made his way to his position.

Jason and I entered David's house slowly, silently and carefully without grabbing any unwanted attention.

"Stay beside me not behind me because I know you don't need protection," Jason whispered winking at me while I nudged his arm playfully.

"Let's check his room," I whispered and he nodded making our way to the bastard's and his wife's room.

As soon as we entered his room we found no one in the bed however it looked like someone was laying on it seconds ago. Weird.

So we decided to get out and continue looking for them.

As soon as we turned away the lights were on in the room and the door slammed closed.

We held our guns high looking at the door to find Saby standing in front of it with a knife in her hand and a sneaky smile plastered on her face while David was coming out of the walk-in closet with a gun in his hand pointed at us.

"Did you think we won't hear you?" David scoffed." You are not as sneaky and quiet as you think. You never were since you both were young." He laughed dryly at the end.

"Put the gun down if you know what's better for you David. This time you will die for sure." I warned as his stank of a wife snorted snapping my attention to her.

"How cute! Do you think you will kill him babygirl? Your father?" She cooed with a fake pout, nearing me that she now was in front of me."Well, think again little shit." She spat and held her knife high to stab me in the heart but Jason was faster than her and me as he kicked her hand with his leg making the knife fall

Then David tried to shoot Jason but I shot his leg." you bitch!" David spat on the ground holding his leg.

Saby tried to take the gun from Jason but Jason was stronger and he took it then pulled the trigger and shoot her in her heart.

David's eyes widened "Okay you win. L..let me go and I will disappear giving you all my money and everything."

"Too late David..too late." I finished pulling the trigger shooting him in the head."Goodbye... father."

Jason kissed my forehead taking me in a tight hug whispering in my ear."You did the right thing baby."

I sighed in relief in his arms hugging him back tightly "It finally ended. He is finally gone."

While I was hugging him I felt something sticky and watery on my hand.

I pushed Jason slightly looking at my hand to find it covered with blood.

I checked myself but I wasn't hurt.

It's not my blood.

I looked at Jason with wide eyes while he looked at me sheepishly "Jason!" I shouted."you are hurt!" I turned him to look at the injury in his side and it looked like a stab." This bitch stabbed you!" It won't fucking stop pouring out blood." Hurry! hold on me to get you to the gang's doctor and clean it before you lose more blood."

"I.." he coughed. "its okay Mia. Its nothing big really."

"Jason just shut the fuck up and obey me! Don't tell me that you don't feel already dizzy."

Minutes ago he was warning us to not get any injuries and leave out safe, but here he is the one who got stabbed... how ironic!

"Fine let's go." Jason gave up as he noticed that he can't hide his pain from me nor lie." I like it when you care about me." He winked.

I rolled my eyes and he chuckled kissing my forehead.

So it finally ended.

The cause of my misery is gone. And I can live freely.

And thankfully no one of my friends got injured or anything. Just Jason got stabbed and he is getting better by now. The bitch stabbed him deep that I could have lost him but thankfully my Jason is strong.

We also planted David's death as a suicide after he killed his wife because he was a well known business man after all.

And all his fortune was given to Ella, Blake and me, so we decided to share it equally and for the company that had belonged for our family since so long they decided that I am the one who should handle it because they don't care about business or any of that stuff and my dream was always to be a business woman with so much power and control.

It has been two months now. we ended our exams and got accepted at the colleges that we wished for.

Also, we didn't go to prom and spent it beside Rick in his hospital room. We also might have bribed some nurses to let us stay the night and drink secretly beside him. Even if he wasn't talking or living the moment with us but it was so much fun more than being in a prom without him.

"Get your ass up here my smarty panties we don't have all day," Jason called for me from up that cliff snapping me out of my thoughts and concentrating on climbing the cliff.

He insisted on taking me on a date and because he knows me so well he made it as an adventure, making me feel the rush of adrenaline enjoying my time and our last spot was climbing that high cliff to watch the sunset.

This day was magnificent.

I never thought that I might have an amazing date as that before.

It wasn't lame nor cliched nor anything of that boring stuff.

It was awesome, cool and thrilling that I would never forget it.

"I am up.!" I called breathlessly

He caught my hand helping me to stand up dusting off my clothes."Finally! I thought I would die waiting for you here." He teased.

I nudged his arm making him take a step back." It's your fault that you made us eat before climbing. I feel so heavy with that food inside me."

"No it's your fault that you ate two whole large burgers with a big packet of fries and big soda then you ate two whole fucking big ice cream oreo cups as a dessert." Jason scoffed lifting his brows teasingly." I don't know how you really did it. I was afraid you would end up eating me as well."

"Haha. You are so funny." I fake laughed." Not!" I rolled my eyes."Moreover, I was hungry and that burger was so damn delicious so I had to eat two and two ice creams for two burgers." I shrugged innocently.

"Well, you are lucky I will still love you if you get fat and will still kiss you with all of that you stuffed in your mouth." Jason pulled me by my waist taking me in a deep and passionate kiss then he cut it shorter for my liking, cupping my cheek." You will finish my money on food if you keep eating that much when I marry you."

I pushed him off me punching his stomach as he laughed his ass off."Asshole!" I muttered making my way to the cliff's end sitting, waiting for the sunset.

"Your asshole." Jason winked at me when he sat beside me.

I stuck my tongue out and he chuckled then when I faced the sun again giving him my side, he kissed my cheek.

I wiped the place he kissed with my hand while he chuckled then I muttered."I hate you."

"Nah, I know you love me."

I glared at him and he smirked at me innocently as I rolled my eyes."Unfortunately yes."

He chuckled then pulled me into him with his arm around my shoulders."I love you too my smarty panties."

I took his hands in mine kissing the top of it "I love you too."

And with that, we stayed silent savoring the moment, watching the beautiful sunset.

Two weeks passed and tomorrow is our graduation day.

Also there is no sign of Rick waking up but we won't lose hope even if the doctors are advising us to sign the papers as we are considered as his family to hook him off of all the live machines and just let him die saying our goodbyes but we won't listen to them and we will wait. We know he will wake up sooner or later even if took more than a year.

We are now sitting at the hospital in Rick's room talking beside him as if he is awake and chatting with us.

"So tomorrow is graduation guys and each one of us will follow his dream career." Jass huffed from beside Adrian and he hugged her reassuringly.

"Yeah, I can't believe how that year ended. I mean it was so damn hectic and I never thought I would be here..." I looked around the room at my friends. "...beside you all now." I spoke truthfully as I was sitting on Jason's lap and he kissed my shoulder.

"So you two made it and will study to be doctors as in humans doctors?" Ben asked dumbly while Ella laughed from beside him as they were sitting on the ground.

Damon nodded." Yup." And Jane continued while holding his hand looking happily at him." It has been our dream to become doctors since we were young."

"Well, I am proud of you both after you came that far and got accepted in the best college even if it's so far from me but we will still see each other and I know Boss is proud of you two as well," I said honestly.

"Thanks, Mia that means a lot coming from you," Jane replied

"And Boss is proud of all of us Mia. You will pursue your career as well as a business woman entering one of the best business colleges along with your boyfriend." Damon winked at me and I chuckled.

"Yeah, I wouldn't dream to leave her alone. " Jason smiled brightly."Also, I will study business to take dad's company and Mia and I decided to join the two companies and work together building a big one"

"Well, I think that's a very good idea. Because Lindsey broke off the gang anyways so you will have no other responsibilities except the company with Mia." Adrian shrugged.

"And what about you Jass and Ella?" I asked pointing at them." What did you major in? I know that you applied for the same college and got accepted but you still keep your majors a secret."

"Yeah, that's right. Even I your brother don't know yet." Blake stated annoyed by all that secretive.

"Well, ready to tell?" Ella asked Jass and she nodded." Okay, I will major in fashion designing and Jass will major to be a makeup artist and both majors work together a lot in internships and competition fashion shows in the college we applied for in England."

"It's so awesome guys. We both will be together and the teachers there are so good." Jass continued excitedly.

"What!?" Ben smiled widely.

"In England?" Adrian blurted surprised." That's so damn far away."

"That's freaking awesome I will be close to you as I am studying law in Harvard," Ben spoke happily kissing Ella.

I still can't believe that Ben was that smart and got accepted in Harvard to will study Law!!

His looks really say that he is so dumb along with his actions.

Woah! Really life is full of surprises.

"But what about me? Jass I will be here studying computer programming and hacking while you there in England!" Adrain complained." I can't stay that far from you."

"Oh baby, we will visit each other a lot and will video call. You won't even notice the distance I promise." Jass cooed cupping his cheek.

Adrian sighted taking her in a side hug." Well, we should make the most of the time till you go then. If that's your dream career then I will support you."

Ohh my heart is breaking for them. They are the cutest couple I have ever seen.

She hugged him back." Thanks, babe that means the world to me." She then kissed his cheek.

Blake cleared his throat." If that means anything to you sis I am glad you are chasing your dreams even if it's so far away from me."

Blake wants to be a police officer or something like that. He wants to be something big in that industry and I feel like it really suits him.

"Of course it means a lot to me bro thank you," Ella answered smiling.

We all congratulated them and continued to talk a little more bit then stayed silent for a while.

I broke the silence." I wish you were up Rick and talking now with us about your career as an actor and that there is a producer who discovered you."

"Yeah man. We all miss you please get stronger and get up of your lazy ass." Jason commented making us all laugh.

"We will all reunion every month when college starts, here with you till you get up dude and Mia and Jason here will visit you every day as their college is near to you," Adrian informed him, even if he is in a deep sleep we still have our hopes that he can hear us.

"We all miss you, Ricky!!" Jass called and we all chuckled.

"Please wake up soon."

At this moment with those people. I felt complete.

I found myself again because of them even if some of them are the ones who broke me in the first place but they protected me more than my real father did.

I never thought that I would come back in this city meeting these people or get accepted in my dream college with my perfect boyfriend who I truly love.

Life is so full of ups and downs but despite every obstacle that I met, I stayed on my legs living proudly not because I was strong or didn't give up on life but because I met awesome people who picked me up every time I fell and made me the person I am now.

And for them I am thankful.

Because of them I am living this moment now happily persuading my career.

"H...He..He moved his finger." Ella stuttered.

"What?" I asked shocked getting off Jason's lap.

"Rick!! He fucking moved a finger!!" Ella yelled in excitement.

"oh my god, something is happening . His heartbeat is increasing incredibly fast!" Jane pointed at the machine that kept beeping.

"I will go get the doctor." Blake ran as he was standing close to the door.

Will he finally wake up?

Or it will be like the previous times, false alarms?

But its the first time he moved a muscle.

I hope he wakes up.

The doctor came and examined him throwing the heartbroken news at us.

I still don't know whether it is good news or not.

What we just heard was a shock, a bummer, a damn bomb and I guess I would never feel relieved until what I wish for come true.

But our hopes will still perk up as if we learned one thing in life that is never giving up.

Everything takes time..

And so is life and death.
