《ThE bAd BoY aNd ThE bAd GiRl》19. PATHETIC REVENGE

"Luna!" Jason said gritting his teeth with so much venom in his voice. What? Is she like an ex or something?
He took a step in front of me shielding me and blocking most of the view from my vision.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Jason asked darkly.
"Oh that's sweet, are you protecting your girlfriend?" Luna cooed, yet she looked more disgusted." Is that who you rejected me for?"
What the hell are they talking about?
" Luna does your gang leader know about your attack at us now?" Ben said challengingly.
"It's none of your damn business." She yelled. This girl yells a lot and it is giving me a headache. Her voice is like a broken toy.
"Don't tell me you are here for getting revenge on Jason after he rejected you?" Rick was getting on her nerves, laughing coldly.
"You are pathetic Luna!" Jason spat as her face reddened and her eyes darkened.
"Kill them all now!!" Luna shouted, raising her gun with her men copying her actions.
"Everybody split and hide while shooting," Jason commanded shouting.
I ran to the counter hiding beside it as I managed to dodge bullets and shoot at others.
They were so many but I was very good at shooting and I missed that thrilling life.
So, I kept shooting at them and they were very slow to dodge it. Tsk, tsk, shame on those gangesters.
I am glad that I didn't forget how to shoot, thou.
I glanced at my friends seeing them do the same.
Ben took a bullet in his arm and a guy was getting the advantage of his state and was going to shoot his head but before he could do anything I was already shooting at him, giving him a bullet in his head. Karma is a bitch!
Ben glanced at me nodded as a gesture of thanking me while he gathered his strength and continued to shoot those mother fuckers.
Why aren't they ending?
We killed so many of them for fuck's sake.
My bullets finished and I needed to refill but I noticed that the bag was in the corner at the room where there was nothing to hide and shield behind.
I saw Damon in front of me hiding behind a sofa so I pointed at him to cover my back and he nodded understanding.
I got away from behind the counter making my way towards the bag while dodging bullets and Damon covering me.

A man saw me aiming to the bag so he stood in front of me with two pocket knives in his hands smirking evilly at me.
"Going somewhere, sweetheart?" His voice sucks with that disgusting look on his face. I really hate assholes like him.
"Ugh let's just get this over with." I groaned straightening myself then he tried to cut my arm but I dodged it then he tried to stab me so I grabbed his hand, however, hat didn't stop him from trying tried with his other hand to stab my palm that was holding his hand but I grabbed it with my other hand and then raised my foot to kick his dick making him fall to the ground then punched him in the face and took the knives stabbing him in the stomach two times that he wasn't able to move.
"I had a great time thank you," I said, grabbing the bag then started to refill my guns.
Suddenly, A cold metal was touching the back of my head that made me freeza in my place.
"Drop the guns," Luna ordered.
I did as she said then turned around.
"You are not that hot to make Jason reject me for you." Luna spat moving the gun down to my chest slowly while I rolled my eyes." I mean I am way hotter than you. You don't have big boobs like mine."she pressed the gun hard on my left boob.
"Are you done yet?" I huffed annoyed by her pitty ass. Gangsters in LA were so much fun than here in NY.
"Fiesty I see." She laughed coldly."I wi--"
While she was muttering about something not giving attention to the gun I grabbed it and twisted her arm then lifted my foot and hit her back making her fall on her face. She gets easily distracted, only thinking about her feelings and that I noticed when she was arguing with Jason.
I grabbed one of my guns as she grabbed hers and stood up aiming the gun in my face while I did the same.
"You certainly aren't a normal girl.." she spoke warily." Are you in the same gang as him?" She wondered still raising her gun at me." no I don't think so. which gang are you in?"
"Bitch! Why do you talk so much?" I told you, she can easily get distracted.
Then more men came running at us and Lindsey appeared.

What wait!?
Lindsey?
"Everybody drops your guns or my men will shoot you as you attacked some of our members," Lindsey yelled with her dominating voice.
She's Jason's gang leader?
Everyone from the rival gang did as she said except Luna who kept raising her gun at me.
"That includes you, Luna!" Jason yelled pointing at her." Drop your damn gun away from her."
"No! I will kill that bitch now!" Luna shouted. This is turning into some soap opera shit.
"Girl you don't want to miss with me." I threatened.
"You don't scare me, bitch!" Luna spat. Well! She had her chance, no one can blame me now.
"Luna I am warning you if y--" Jason warned.
*pang..*
And here comes the relaxing sound of a bullet.
"Fuck!" Damon cursed running a hand through his hair.
Luna's body fell on the ground blood dripping out of her back.
We all looked at Jane who was aiming her gun at Luna.
"This bitch was getting on my nerves." Jane shrugged innocently. "she talks a lot."
"Jane I wanted to kill her myself." I huffed.
"Girl you already had all the fun while I was just hiding upstairs." Jane crossed her arms. Well, she has a point.
"You girls are weird!" Rick remarked." That's why we are friends." He smiled a cheeky one.
"We are not!" I lifted a brow giving him a stern look.
Jason was now in front of me checking me." Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" He asked worried looking at my body for any injuries.
"I am good," I said slipping from his hold. I don't like him touching me.. it just does things to me.
He then hugged me fiercely muttering a low." Thank god!"
What's his deal?
"Anyone got injured?" Lindsey came in asking.
Everybody shook his head while I remembered Ben who I can't find.
"Yeah Ben got shot in his arm.." I said.
"I told you, you are the perfect girl!" Jason whispered in my ear earning a nudge from me with a roll of my eyes.
I noticed that I tend to roll my eyes a lot around him.
"Don't worry one of my men found him and we already took him to clean it." Lindsey explained."Jason, I need to talk with you and for Mia, Damon and Jane thank you for helping the boys but stay out of trouble as much as you can for Boss!"
The three of us nodded smiling at her warmly.

After everything calmed down and we helped the boys to clean the chaos we decided to spend the night at their house as it was already late and none of us had the strength to drive.
Jane and Damon took a room. While Jass with Adrian in his room. Rick and Ben each in his own room and Jason was convincing me to stay with him as friends like old times but I refused.
I still don't trust him.
Nor like him!
I went to another spare room.
"I brought you clothes of mine to take a shower and change," Jason said handing me the clothes.
"Ok thanks," I muttered then closed the door after him.
I took a shower and changed then tried to fall asleep but couldn't.
I was fucking tired but couldn't sleep.
Perfect!
I then heard a knock on my door.
"Mia, you awake?" Jason whispered from the other side of the door.
I got out of bed and went to open the door to see Jason only in his sweat pants with no shirt on.
Those Abs!
"What do you want?" I crossed my arms trying to not look at his well-scultped abs.
"Couldn't sleep and I thought that you too couldn't and clearly I was right." He said smirking his stupid attractive smirk then entered without me accepting.
He took a seat on the bed and I just stood in front of him crossing my arms under my chest.
"My clothes always looked better on you than me." He said lowly with a bright smirk.
"I know. They always did." I said coldly, he is getting too close and trying to mend things while I am not up for it." why are you here?"
"I told you, couldn't sleep." He shrugged.
"Then go do something away from me." I waved my hands in the air.
"Won't you forgive me, Mia?" He asked sadness luring his voice.
"When you tell me the truth."
There was a moment of silence then he started speaking again.
"Fine." He huffed making me freeze in my place from his sudden agreement.
Will he finally tell me why he betrayed me?
Will I forgive him after that?
Will his explanation be worth what he did to me?
One way to find out...

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

From Fake Dreams
The Magus Killer was dying. He had done all he could to be a Hero and save as many people as he could. He killed his father to do it. He killed his adopted mother to do it. He killed his wife in the hopes to put an end to the need to do it ever again. He failed in rescuing his daughter as a result of his efforts. All he had left was a cursed and failing body, a sizable yet antiquated home in Fuyuki Japan, and his adoptive amnisiac son whose life he had destroyed in the first place. And then the dreams came. Dreams of War, Fire, Curses, unborn Gods, Heroes, and Monsters. Dreams of unresolved conflicts, promises, dreams, and tasks. Dreams with his nearly clueless son in the middle of it all. The Magus Killer was dying. But he could still prepare for what was to come. And fortunately, that was something he was still terrifyingly exceptional at. Currently at chapter 60 on FF.net

The First Half
"Kyran Hall, the Goddess Sada bestows you this gift." With those words, his life changed dramatically. He was granted a System, unique among all others, and abilities unseen before in the world. Granted boundless potential, he and his party would soon rise to prominence, becoming some of the greatest adventurers the world had ever see- *Ahem* Sorry, I've been told by the MC to say he's just an average guy. Nothing special about him. A traditional fantasy story with a (hopefully) new twist on the magic system. There's adventure, combat, monsters, magic, banter, and of course: pork belly. I'm new to writing fiction, and still learning to be more efficient in my brainstorming and editing process. If you have any feedback or suggestions, let me know! If you see any typos, mock me as much as you want because I should feel bad about it.
