I watch shocked, everything goes in slow motion. Layla running closer and closer to the truck and her death, she is still crying her eyes out meaning she is not looking where she is going. Then Red takes control, he easily surfaces with me in my dazed state, and kicks into action. Within seconds I reach Layla, she is mere seconds away from dying and I wrap my arms around her rolling out of the way of the truck. She looks at me dazed, then starts laughing! Then the waterworks begin, loud sobs wrack her body and ring through me causing me to feel her pain.

"I'm s-so sorry L-Liam" Layla cries

"Shhhh calm down baby" I whisper

"I almost killed you" She says facing me, angry.

"Come on, let's go talk off the road" I say picking her up and carrying her back to the car, placing her on my lap and letting her snuggle into me.

"Baby you could've died because of me" She says her sobs quietening

"Well I had to save you, and I probably wouldn't have died because I'm a werewolf who can heal extremely fast" I reason

"You didn't have to save me at all, I was fine. I am not worth your time Liam, go find someone special who is strong and smart. You're amazing and can do much better than me" Layla says her voice breaking.

"You are very special, strong and smart we may not be dating but I feel something with you. Something special....." I reply trailing off.

"Same, but I don't want to get hurt again Liam. I've been hurt too many times" She says softly

"I know that, but just stay as friends then....please" I plead

"But then-maybe.....um okay" She thinks aloud

"Do you wanna have a sleepover?" I ask nervous

"Um...okay" She replies

"We can watch what ever movie you want, and I'll buy kit kats, sour worms, ice-cream and caramel popcorn" I suggest happily

"Oh, thanks" She smiles at me wiping her eyes.

I buy Layla heaps of junk food, so that we can have a movie marathon. Now we are sitting in my hotel room, waiting for Layla to choose a movie.

"Oh I know what about Jumunji, then we can watch number 2?" Layla suggests

"Yeah that sounds good" I reply

We sync the phone and tv then sit on my bed ready to relax. The whole time I'm half watching the movie and half watching Layla. No not like a stalker, I just like seeing her so relaxed and calm wrapped in my arms. After we watch both movies Layla turns to me.

"What?" I ask confused

"Do you want to play truth or dare?" She asks

"Okay, truth or dare?" I ask

"Dare" she replies

"Give me your phone number" I say

"Really?" She asks raising her brow

"Yeah, can I have it?" I ask impatiently

"Fine" she says shaking her head

"Truth or dare?" She asks

"Truth"

"Are you a virgin?" She asks

"Yeah, waiting for the right woman" I reply firmly

"Oh cool" She replies trying to hide her happiness but failing

We continue like this, for a while then eventually we fall asleep in each other's embrace.
