I wake up, and snuggle further into Liam. Yes I remember that I'm sleeping with him, for some reason I feel safe and comfortable with him. Maybe it's because he didn't take advantage of me, even though he could have easily done so, or maybe it's because he is kind and safe...... Nah! I haven't met a decent man in over 2 years, I was going to break up with Ryan one day, but I wanted to give him a chance. We had been dating for about a year, and he seemed nice and didn't take me for granted, but 4 months into our relationship he started trying to get me to have sex with him, I declined every time because I'm waiting until after I'm married (Christian values). Bella, my bestie, is also waiting until after marriage and now she's married she can make love to Zack. Okay enough my friend's sex life or my sex life, for that matter. 

I roll over to face Liam, and his eyes flutter open. I mentally sigh at how gorgeous he is, with his grey/blue eyes contrasting with his pale skin tone and dirty blonde hair, and he is tall and well built. I wonder if he has moved on , as he was Bella's mate, and if he has a girlfriend yet. I'm a telepathic and can feel heat sources, like body heat, so I can easily read Liam's mind, to find out what he's thinking about, but I don't like to take my power for granted and use it on innocent people.

"Good morning, prince charming," I whisper smiling at my nickname for him.

"Morning Princess," he replies 

"So, um....what are we- I mean what am I gonna do about this situation," I ramble

"We, are going to go downstairs and have breakfast then we can press charges on Ryan later," Liam states, emphasising the word 'we'.

"Okay, but my clothes....," I trail off looking down ashamed.

"Hey don't be ashamed, he should be ashamed not you. And I can either go get you clothes, if you give me your room, or I can bring food up here," he suggests

"Well, I don't want to miss any more of Bell's company, she's leaving for the honeymoon tomorrow, so my room is 67 and you can just tell the lady at the desk that you lost the key," I reply

"Okay, see you in about 10 minutes give or take. Oh and your clothes, where are they?" Liam asks

"In my suitcase, didn't bother unpacking since I only arrived yesterday," I answer

 "I'm back!" Liam sing-songs 

"Oh hey," I smile

"So do you wanna get changed then head down for breakfast, cause it's 8:30 now so they should start serving food soon," he says

"Okay, sure. Are you also getting changed?" I ask nervously

"Yeah, you get changed in the bathroom and I'll get changed out here. I'll knock when I'm ready" Liam says smiling reassuringly 

"Okay, thanks," I reply, feeling at ease with him.

I step into the bathroom, and take off Liam's clothes but his scent of cinnamon and sugar still linger. I put on my undergarments, then look at the outfit Liam chose: a lacy white halter neck shirt that reveals some stomach and jean shorts. He knows what clothes a woman likes! Then I quickly brush my hair and tie it up in a high messy pony tail, rinsing my face, I finally look good.

*Knock* *Knock* I guess Liam has finished getting changed.

"Good you're ready, let's go get some food," Liam says eagerly. 

"Okay, let's go," I reply laughing at how eager Liam is to eat.

"There you are, Lay," Bella says running up to me.

"Can I steal my best friend away from you Liam?" Bella asks teasingly 

"Um okay," He replies a little reluctantly.

"I see you two hit it off," Bella says winking, once we are away from prying ears.

"Oh come on, was this your plan all along," I sigh

"Yes, you and Ryan aren't meant for each other. I smell something off with him, so I thought that Liam is single and you need a good guy for once and it just clicked," Bella says proudly

"Bell I just want a break from guys for a while," I say exhaustion taking over.

"But what about Ryan? Even though I know he's a pri-"Bella begins 

But I cut her off, "He tried to rape me last night, if it weren't for Liam he would've succeeded."

"Oh baby I'm so sorry. I am going to make sure he can't do that to you or anyone ever again," Bella says her eyes flashing

"Liam knocked him out and I think he locked him in as well, he is in room 78," I mutter, not really caring what happens to him, as long as people know about him and he doesn't do it again.

"Come on let's have breakfast first, then I can rip off Ryan's balls," Bella says, innocently batting her eyelashes. 

"Hey Liam, here's Layla back," Bella says smirking at my flushed face.
