y/n pov
Euphoria hazed over me as my adrenaline hit a wall. My bones creaked when I hit my knees on the brown grass. I could feel Ghost brushed up against me. His eyes tracked any person that got too close to the area.
My magic crackled and burned inside of me. It longed to be released on the world around me, but I held my grip on it. If I released it, my magic wouldn't know the difference between friend and foe.
I felt a slight crackling against my forehead. I leaned over to the lake beside me, gaping at my reflection.
Ash and blood were smeared across my face. A small gash was placed over my cheekbone. But that's not what snagged my attention.
A crown made of threads of flames and lightning intertwined with each other around my head. It came dangerously close to my hair but didn't set it on fire. It was a controlled amount of magic.
I left it, mostly because I didn't have the strength to wave it away. I sat back on my knees, staring out in front of me.
My eyes were unfocused, making the battle scene in front of me hazy. Bright balls of color exploded every now and then as a figure fired a crossbow. Shouts faintly touched my ears.
Schlatt had run away from me the moment I released him. He had probably run off to go find some alcohol. His body wouldn't last long now that the darkness and power were fleeing. The darkness had been like a drug and now he had to go through withdrawals
A hand was pressed to my shoulder, drawing my eyes back into focus. The world felt like it was moving slowly.
Someone crouched down in front of me, their pink hair shifting around their shoulders. His face was serious, a slight hint of concern on their face. Their touch brought the world back into motion.
"Y/n, are you alright?" Techno said to me, glancing behind him. Tommy was locked in combat with Sapnap, while Tubbo fought Karl on the other side of him. Dream was nowhere to be seen.
I blinked several times. Although the adrenaline had washed away after the fight, it was slowly coming back. My magic wasn't tired, rushing around trying to jostle my mind into action.
It poked me, my form going straighter. My eyes cleared as I gave Techno a sharp nod, "Yeah, my adrenaline just crashed for a second."
Techno nodded, reaching out his hand towards me as he stood. I took it for him to pull me into a standing position. He clipped his crossbow to his back in a swap for his sword. His movements prompted me to pull my own sword back out.
The sight in front of me was of total chaos. Particles of all colors floated off every person, to help or to hurt them. Some people's armor was dented or scratched, while others were still in top condition.
Techno and I were two of the few sets that were untouched. Mine had a strange, warm glow to the outside of the dancing enchantments. My magic wrapped around each piece, adding extra protection.
I arched a brow, "We're winning?"
Techno gave a clipped nod, "Surprisingly, yes." He gave me a questioning look, "Where did Schlatt go?"
I smirked, shrugging my shoulders, "I have no idea. But he is no longer a threat."
My heart swelled at the pride that shone in Techno's dark eyes. He turned back towards the battle, "Good. Purpled has surrendered and the rest are being pushed back." He spoke like a true general.

Wilbur appeared from around the corner, running towards us. His trenchcoat whipped behind him, a slight tear in its side.
I glanced at Techno as the man stopped in front of us. He leaned on his knees to try and catch his breath. Techno stepped towards his brother, "What is it Wil?"
The tall man stood and his eyes snagged on my forehead for a moment. He quickly looked away, drawing his eyes to Techno, "We can stop fighting."
Techno stared at his brother, "What?" His monotone voice was as flat, not a hint of emotion in it.
Wilbur opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by Tommy running up to us. Tubbo was slightly behind his friend. Tommy's blue eyes were electric with adrenaline, "They've surrendered!"
Following his words, Quackity and Fundy ran towards our growing group. Wilbur glanced at them before turning back to Techno and me, "I just spoke to Dream."
My attention peaked at his name. Wilbur continued, not looking towards the people that began to gather around us, "We need to go meet up with him."
He turned on his heel, walking off without another word.
I glanced at Techno, seeing the same confused expression on his face. He shrugged his caped shoulders and followed after his brother.
Tommy looked up at me, "What's going on?"
I waved my hand towards Techno as he disappeared around the corner, "Let's go."
-
Confused chatter spread out behind me as we came into view of Wilbur. He was stood on the bridge next to party island, talking to someone.
People pulled their swords out of their sheaths as Wilbur stood next to a masked man. I sped up my steps, the man looking towards me. Dream smirked at me from his spot next to Wilbur.
Techno arrived a second before me, glancing back. The former people who had been on Manberg's side now formed a half-circle on the other side of Dream. Sam and Punz stood tall, keeping a hand on their swords.
Sapnap and Karl stood close together, staying the closest to Dream. Neither seemed to be injured, relief flooding into my heart.
I restrained myself from running over to my best friend, bringing myself to a stop in front of him. I felt Techno's cape brush against my hand from the closeness.
Dream muttered something to Wilbur, tracking the people behind me with his eyes. Wilbur nodded, squaring his shoulders, "Weapons down!"
Tommy bristled behind me as he reluctantly lowered his sword. Techno kept a hand wrapped around the hilt of his sword but put it into his sheath. My sword remained in my hand, pulsing in turn with my magic.
Dream stepped towards our group, "We would like to surrender, and it's because Schlatt is an idiot." His mask angled slightly towards me at his words. I could feel several people staring at me through the back of my head.
I kept my eyes trained on Dream. Quackity voice came from behind me, "Where even is Schlatt?"
Dream nodded for me to respond. I turned halfway to face the rebellion, "I have no idea. All I know is that he is no longer a threat to any of you or L'manberg." I emphasized the 'L', bringing a small smile to Tommy's lips.
I turned back to face Dream as he spoke, "I have something to show you."
Our group parted to let him through as he walked towards us. I took up a spot next to him, walking in sync. Tommy, Techno, and Wilbur walked wearily behind us. The rest of the group brought up the rear.

The disheveled van appeared in front of us as we rounded the corner. Its previous stone walls were crumbling with dirt piles taking their place. The nation's new presidency and the acts of war had taken their toll on the van.
As we stepped in, I frowned at the entrance. Everything was coated in a thick layer of dust and mud. Glass shards scattered the floor. I wondered how Tubbo had managed to sleep in here.
Dream pushed into the main part of the van with me on his heels. Tommy was directly behind me.
My face turned into a scowl at the sight before me.
Schlatt was crumpled on the ground, leaning against the wall. His suit was torn in several places from my attack. Smoke floated around the ceiling as well as the scent of alcohol. A cigarette was lit in his fingers and a bottle of pale liquid was nestled in his arms.
His tired eyes glared up at me as we entered. Techno scoffed at the president, coming up on the other side of me. The room was silent, besides Schlatt's slight wheeze, as people filed in.
The van became crowded as everyone tried to get a view of the disheveled man. Each had their swords and bows out, wary of the man. I doubted Schlatt would be able to do any damage to anyone.
Wilbur was stood towards the president's side, "Schlatt, what are you doing?"
Schlatt took a swig from the tall bottle. Small dribbles of alcohol leaked out of it, dripping onto his dark suit. He lazily looked up at the man with a drunken smile, "Wilbur?"
Quackity stepped towards his former friend, "What the hell is going on?" I could see the slight hint of hurt on his face as he stared at the man.
Schlatt just lazily looked around, clearly out of it. "A surprise birthday party?"
I glanced sharply at Tommy, his expression mirroring my own. He made eye contact with me for a moment before looking back at the horned man.
"What are you doing in my drug van?" Wilbur crossed his arms, leaning against a crumpling oak table.
Schlatt's drinking was the only sound for a moment. Techno muttered to me, "I was excited for the Revolution, now I'm just sad."
I nodded my agreement. It truly was a sad sight. The darkness left this man as a shell, sucking the life out of him.
Fundy pushed towards the front of the group, his face angry. He swished his orange tail, "Are you drunk?"
The boy's appearance sparked something in Schlatt. His eyes flashed as he pushed himself into a standing position. None of us had time to react as the man brought his bottle down.
Fundy raised his arm in defense. The glass bottle shattered on the boy's bracer with a loud clatter. The bits of glass gleamed in the sunlight as they fell to the ground. Droplets of pale alcohol splattered onto the ground.
Schlatt shouted, "You bitch!"
Fundy took a small step back, "I thought you were something!" His shouts sounded heartbroken and sad. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Wilbur slightly flinch. He knew that Fundy had tried to replace him with Schlatt.
Schlatt swayed as he chuckled, "Yeah, I am something! I'm what you're not Fundy." He took a puff of his cigarette, sending tendrils of smoke upwards. "I'm a man!"
Fundy glared at him. Wilbur snapped, drawing his diamond sword. He stepped in between the president and his son to act as a shield. "No, that's it." Fundy didn't resist as his father pushed him back slightly, only staring at Schlatt.
Wilbur regained some of his stability, "Are you ready to die Schlatt?"
The man didn't respond, his eyes landing on Quackity. His friend slightly shrunk back at the intensity of the stare. Something sparked in the horned man's eyes as he swiveled to face me.
I could feel both Techno and Dream tense next to me. Dream gripped his ax as Techno did his sword. Schlatt took a wobbly step towards me, not posing as a threat at all.
His words were beginning to slur, "Y/n! I think it's about time that you cash in your end of the deal."
Confused gasps echoed from the people in the van, except for the small handful of people that knew what was happening. I ignored them, staring Schlatt down.
I could feel aggression pouring out of the two men on my sides as Schlatt placed a hand on my shoulder. The scent of alcohol wrapped completely around, suffocating me. "I want you to stab the shit out of Tubbo."
I kept my face neutral. I had expected to backstab Tommy, but not literally killing somebody.
Quackity's face was livid, "What the hell! Why?"
Schlatt stayed facing me as he spoke to him, "Because, the only way to get to Tommy is by killing his best friend." He grinned at Tommy, "Isn't that right?"
Tommy's mask clicked into place as he put on a show for everyone. He whirled on me with what looked like genuine heartbreak and anger, "What the hell is he saying, y/n?"
I glared at the president, turning to the boy after a moment, "I'm sorry Tommy, it was the only way to save Quackity."
Quackity's face drained of blood, "What?"
I turned to him, making my voice sound cold, "Schlatt was going to kill you, and you wouldn't have been able to refuse because of your life debt."
His face became even paler with recognition. He stared wide-eyed at Tubbo.
Schlatt leaned in towards my face, bringing his face next to mine. I glanced at Techno, who's eyes were livid. He had a stern look on his face as Schlatt whispered into my ear, "I have a secret to tell you y/n."
I stayed completely still. He continued, "You may think of me as a shit person. Which I may be but, killing Tubbo brings me pain."
"What the hell are you saying Schlatt?"
He chuckled, his voice still hushed, "Tubbo is my son."
I pulled away from him, staring. He smirked as if he hadn't said anything important. "Do it." I shook my head in disbelief, shoving that away for later.
I turned towards Tubbo, who was also acting scared. He cowered behind Tommy, clutching his friend's arm. His hands were shaking.
No one moved as I stepped towards the two teens. I glared at Tommy, "Move."
He planted his feet, "No."
I had told Tommy about this part, so he braced the second before I ripped my wind on him. Luckily, his small brace softened his hit as he smacked into the wall.
Several gasps and shouts echoed around us. I sensed their movements to stop my actions. My wind pressed them into their places, despite their efforts to break free. Tubbo was also frozen to the spot in front of me.
Something I hadn't expected, happened. Wilbur darted forward, placing himself in front of me. He cast a concerned look at Tommy before turning to me with a hard expression. His words were cold, "Get away from them y/n."
Despite my heart warming from the sight of Wilbur returning to sound mind for a moment, I kept my expression harsh. I simply flicked my hand, sending him skidding to the ground next to Tommy.
Schlatt was laughing manically behind me as I raised my sword. Tommy was struggling against my wind, his screams above the others. The small van was suffocating with people's shrieks.
I blinked twice at Tubbo, recognition flashing in his eyes. That was my sign for what was about to happen. He gathered tears in his eyes, letting them streak down his face.
My masked fury didn't crack as I brought my sword down in a sharp arc towards the boy. Schlatt was shrieking in victory, not noticing where the sword now sat.
The van went deadly silent as people noticed my actions. My sword sat inches away from Tubbo's neck, stopped with trained skill. I had to train this movement with Dream over and over to ensure that I wouldn't sever my friend's head.
Smiles exploded across Tommy and Tubbo's faces, turning to face Schlatt as I did. I kept my sword beside the boy's neck, eyeing the president.
Schlatt's jaw was dropped as I spoke, "On second thought, I don't think I can do that Schlatt." I quickly twisted my arms, bringing the sword up to Schlatt's neck in one movement.
His body went still, staring at the sword. I continued, "You see, when you made this deal with me, you missed one crucial part." I smirked at him, "You never told me when I would have to listen to your commands."
His face filled with fury, "You are a bitch!"
I faced the group, "This was all planned. I am not the traitor amongst you. I agreed to this deal knowing what I was doing." I turned towards Quackity, "You are now free of your life debt."
Before Quackity could respond, I lowered my sword to my side and let go of my wind. I stepped back into my place between Techno and Dream. Despite not looking at them, I could sense their pride.
Schlatt stared wide-eyed at me with anger on his face. Wilbur swiftly moved, standing next to Tommy, "Tommy, I want you to put your crossbow between his eyes."
Tommy pulled Dream's crossbow off his back, aiming at Schlatt's face. The president pressed his back into the wall to get away from the bow.
He chuckled darkly, "If I die, this country goes down with me."
Tommy sneered, "No it doesn't."
Schlatt burst into a fit of laughter. It sounded unstable in the silent van. People glanced between each other with concerned looks.
Quackity spoke over the laughter, "Just do it, Tommy."
The boy placed his thumb on the trigger. His hand tensed with anticipation of releasing the tipped arrow.
The president's laughter morphed into harsh coughs. His body shook violently as he hacked into his fist. He dropped his cigarette to the ground.
Tommy didn't lower the bow, "This is it for you. This is where you die."
Schlatt's coughs paused for a moment, making eye contact with Tommy and then me. His eyes were becoming dull as if his soul were being sucked out of him.
He looked at me for answers, "Does anyone smell toast?"
People stepped towards the man, questioning.
Before anyone could react, the man collapsed to the floor. His horns hit the ground, but no sign of pain followed in him.
Taking advantage of the tense silence, I strained my ears. I gasped, drawing people's attention. Their faces danced between shock and disgust.
I shook my head, staring at the man, "I can't hear a heartbeat."

The Forgotten One
Hey there everbody. This will be my second upload to Roll 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my previous one due to life and what not but I'm now back and have a some what new idea I've been kicking around for years. We'll see if i head back to my other fiction due to having things calming down. And like always I'm open to constructive critisims. Any way on to the synopsis. The world as we know it is gone. Torn from everyone due to two major things. First and foremost a biologica lweapon that no one wanted to take credit for after it was released and couldn't be stopped (a zombie virus of sorts) and the way that many nations thought to stop it from spreading was to destory everything they could ofcourse that didn't include them selves. So there the world was in a mexican standoff with hundreds of countries with hundreds of nuclear weapons just dareing one another to make the first move. Once again no one knew who started it but it didn't matter once it started the world was doomed. In an attempt to save people some scientists began working on a way to cryogenically frezze people so they could surive the on coming armegedon. The problem was before they could begin testing it on humnas the nukes began launching. In a bid to save them selves a family gave their youngest son to the scientists as a test subject. He had already been infected by the virus weeks before the nukes were being threatened and still retained his humanitiy. After being betrayed by his family after telling them of his ability to stay him self and a few things the bio weapon had changed in him physically he was sedated with enough drugs to kill a whole pride of elephants and forced to take part in the experiment. The last thing he remembers was watching his world close around him (his cryo pod) and his family's face of sadness but also hope in the fact that them betraying him may give them a chance to live. This is a fan fiction in which many aspects of one of my favorite games will be quiet prevelent. It will be obvious to those who have played it but for those who may not the game i'm going to be baseing some of the things in this novel is called Prototype. And no I do not own the rights to the cover. If the creater would like for me to pull it down please messege me.
