《Eldest Potter》Chapter 24

When Rose woke, she was sat in the room Snape had given her. This confused her a lot. She got herself out of the bed and walked out to the kitchen where Severus was speaking with Minerva and Dumbledore.
"What happened?" She asked.
"You stressed yourself up too much Rose, Seeing as the classroom was destroyed that you were found passed out in, we guessed your magic had a bit of a... Overjoy." Minerva explained.
"Oh, okay." She said, sitting down.
Haloween was bacicly skipped for her since she was busy and didn't hear about anything that happened.
Either way, that day went quick and before she knew it, it was Christmas. The twins were off to their brother's place for the time off. She of course put presents down for Harry and Ron. She then went up to the tower's, sitting down as she looked off to the distance. The thought that her parent's weren't there for another Christmas. It broke her heart.
Of course Harry never met Lily and James so he had no reason to be sad, but for Rose, she did. Of course the memories of her mother and father kept her in the tower for a while. She had a small nap and when she woke up, her owl was sat beside her, quite a few presents with her. She smiled and went through them.
Severus got her some potion ingredients that she had been looking for.
Minerva got her a new robe.
Harry got her some books and some vegetarian gummies.
Fred got her a necklace (Which she put on with Snape's necklace.)
Molly got her a christmas sweater and homemade brownies.
The Dursleys had sent some new clothes and a letter telling her that Dudley knew she was a witch now, but forgave her for not telling him.
Dumbledore had sent her some books about teaching courses at Hogwarts.
Cedric sent her some shoes. They were really cute and she put them on with the dress that the Dursleys had gotten her. Ironic that they matched.
She smiled at her outfit before heading down to the last feast of the day. Supper.

She pressed one hand against her mouth, it seemed to be the only way she could stop gaping at the other boy.“Meu Rei,” Navihm addressed the King without breaking eye contact with the girl. “May I have your permission to greet Regina Kaia?”The Rei nodded formally.“You may.”Navihm surged forward just and Kaia’s face crumpled with an emotion that Rose could not quite discern. Rose looked on as Navihm wrapped his arms around this stranger intimately and murmured softly in her ears. He pressed his forehead against hers as one of her hands reached up to grasp firmly onto his lapel, fisting around the soft fabric, the other pressed even more firmly to her mouth as if to stop a great rush of emotion from spilling out.

Two Faced: An Urban Fantasy Adventure
Ancient Demons. A Terrible Curse. Only one woman can save the day … though she's not really a woman at all. Winona Treesinger is a Bigfoot—and no, she doesn’t just have large feet. She’s literally an eight-feet tall walking myth, and the last great princess of the People of the Forest. All she and her people want is to dwell in the deep places of the forest, well away from mankind and the destruction they bring to the land and the world. But when Winona hears about a string of grisly murders in the nearby city of Missoula, she knows in her gut it’s the work of an ancient evil, driven away from their lands long ago. Reluctantly, and against the wishes of her Father, Chief Chankoowashtay, Winona must leave the forest and venture into the world of men, disguised as a frail human, in order to set the balance straight and stop the killings. And with the help of a handsome, slick-talking city detective named Chris Fuller, she might be able to do it. But if Chris finds out what she really is, stopping the creature might be the least of her worries.
