"Taehyung! Are you here?" Jimin breathlessly cried out as he slammed open the door to his dorm and to his luck, Taehyung was on his bed, on his phone.
He looked quite shocked to see Jimin a few weeks after their argument, he placed his phone down, scrambling to his feet with wide eyes. "Jimin?" He gasped in disbelief.
"I- I know we're still in a fight and everything but you have to listen to me!" Jimin said all in one breath, sinking down to his knees from the exhaustion of running all the way back to campus.
Taehyung scurried over to the panting boy, hesitantly placing his hands onto his shoulders while Jimin grabbed at his chest as he tried to regain his breath. "Hey, hey, slow down. Take a breather-"
"You know that Jennie isn't actually pregnant, right?" Jimin finally spoke, looking up at Taehyung and felt how the boy immediately stiffened in shock, his grip tightening on Jimin's shoulders.
"W-what?" Taehyung let out, stunned. He felt as though he was rooted in his place, a sinking sensation in his chest. "How- how would you know?"
Jimin's hands fumbled to grab his phone from his pocket, turning it on and going onto the gallery app where he took the pictures. He shoved his phone in front of Taehyung's face and watched whatever colour was left in his face wash away. Jimin put down his phone, looking down sheepishly.
"I- I know that I shouldn't have, but I was following Jennie because I couldn't understand your reasoning so while I was, I saw her take out some- stuffing from her stomach!" Jimin rambled with wide eyes, glancing back up at Taehyung. "Did you ever ask to see her naked stomach?"
Taehyung looked at Jimin before shaking his head slowly. "She w-was always a bit protective over it but I just thought it was because she didn't want to hurt the baby."
Jimin smirked to himself, smirking because the truth was slowly being revealed to Taehyung and that he wasn't wrong in the first place. "That must be why then! She isn't pregnant!"
Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. His thoughts refused to leave his lips into words, he had no idea what to think.
It was then Jimin realised that Taehyung must've not known that about Jennie and that only aroused his suspicious even more. That their relationship was fake! Jimin got up to his feet, helping Taehyung up, who was still in a state of shock.
"Taehyung.." Jimin mumbled, looking at the boy with furrowed brows. "Why did you really break up with Jeongguk?"
Taehyung just closed his mouth, gulping as his mind tried to process what Jimin had just said. He just couldn't believe what he was hearing. Taehyung clenched his hands into fists, his breathing shallow.
"Taehyung?" Jimin called out, eyes filling with concern as the boy stayed frozen in his place.
Taehyung chewed on the inside of his cheek, fists clenched so tight that he couldn't even speak. His eyes were as big as apples, feeling them slowly brim with tears which Taehyung blinked back. He was frustrated, furious, fearful with what Jimin was telling him. His mind swarmed with the decision of whether or not he should tell Jimin but he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"I know we're not that close but you can tell me anything." Jimin's softly spoke when he noticed Taehyung's hesitance.
The boy glanced up at that and met Jimin's gentle gaze, how he smiled so reassuringly and that seemed to be it for Taehyung because he broke down right at that moment.

Jimin's eyes flew wide open, his other hand grabbing Taehyung's shoulder. "T-Taehyung? What happened? It- it's okay-"
Bringing up his hands, Taehyung began tugging on his hair as he desperately tried to stop the sobs leaving his lips. It was as if everything that was building up for the past few weeks had burst out of the boy, ripping their way into the form of broken sobs.
"O-oh no." Jimin pulled Taehyung's hands away from himself and brought him into a hug, wrapping his arms around the boy tightly. "Don't hurt yourself."
Meanwhile, Taehyung was still sobbing, feeling as pathetic as ever with tears rushing down his cheeks. "Sorry-" he let out, feeling the guilt seep in. Taehyung pulled away from the hug, turning around as he tried to contain himself, fists clenched once more. "G-give me a minute-"
Jimin shook his head, walking over to the boy where he led him to sit down on his bed. He was about to bring Taehyung back into another hug but he was taken aback by his next words.
"I- I didn't wanna leave him-" Taehyung finally murmured out between sobs, wiping away his tears with shaking hands. "I n-never did-"
"Hey, hey." Jimin tried to say, rubbing Taehyung's arms in a calming manner despite being absolutely astounded. "You can talk to me when you feel a bit better." He whispered, wrapping his arms around the boy again.
Taehyung nodded with teary eyes and hugged Jimin back, gripping onto the fabric of his shirt while Jimin just stayed silent, occasionally tightening his grip around the boy. After a bit, Taehyung had calmed down, his sobs turned into small sniffles before he finally backed away, wiping the remains of his tears.
"Now, Taehyung. What happened? What did you mean by that?" Jimin asked, pulling away. "You didn't want to break up with Jeongguk?"
Taehyung gazed down, digging his nails into his thighs. He slowly shook his head, this was it. He had already told Jimin about that so he might as well tell him everything, he inhaled deeply. "Jennie, she- she made me break up with him, saying it was for the baby." Taehyung breathed, quickly glancing at Jimin who was motioning for him to carry on, eyes wide.
"O-of course I didn't want to, I tried to compromise a-and think of a way to stay with Jeongguk while taking care of the baby." Taehyung let out, picking at the skin of his fingertips. Jimin stayed quiet, listening carefully to every word.
"And I- I don't know how, but she had some photos of Jeongguk, photos of him naked a-and threatened to post them everywhere if I didn't do what she said." Taehyung stammered, voice slightly breaking and heard Jimin gasp loudly, clasping a hand over his mouth.
"What? Taehyung-"
Taehyung looked up at Jimin, swallowing down a lump in his throat. "Jimin, I- I didn't want my baby's chances in life getting ruined. It hurt me s-so fucking much to break up with him but I had to-"
"Taehyung! Jennie is literally blackmailing you! That's a crime that you can press charges against her on. Didn't you think about calling the police?" Jimin asked with big eyes, brushing his peach locks back in disbelief.
Taehyung nodded his head, sniffling. "I t-told Jennie that I would call the police because of this but she s-said she'll post the photos if I tried anything, she has them everywhere! Jimin, I- I was scared, Jennie was always with me and watching me. I couldn't have d-done anything."

Jimin raised a brow, blinking his eyes. "Didn't you at least try to tell Jeongguk? He would've understood!" He cried.
Taehyung shook his head again, scratching his nose. "I couldn't do that either, I really wanted to though. J-Jennie was also watching me when you were there, she was expecting me t-to break up with him."
Jimin didn't say anything for a moment, not knowing how to digest all this information. He opened his mouth. "I swear to god, she's crazy." He grumbled but then perked up. "Wait! But she isn't here now, use this time to your advantage! You- you can report Jennie to the police and-"
"No!" Taehyung cried, shaking his arms about frantically. Jimin paused, looking at him with widened eyes. Taehyung gulped, trembling as he pressed his hands to his face. "If I do, she'll f-find out and she wouldn't w-waste a minute posting those photos of Jeongguk and-"
"Taehyung, listen to me!" Jimin interrupted, placing his hands on his shoulders once more. Taehyung glanced up. "You have to call the police. I don't know what Jennie's intentions are but she can't carry on! Look at the state of you, all of this has seriously messed you up-"
"No, I- I can't risk it!" Taehyung cried, eyes slightly watery. He pulled Jimin's arms off and wrapped his own arms around himself, knees pressed to his chest. "She- she's always there, Jimin. Whether she's in my dorm or f-following me to my classes. I can't catch a break." He let out, voice meek.
Jimin pursed his lips, his heart aching from how stressed and paranoid Taehyung was from everything that had happened. Taehyung knotted his fingers into his dark curls again, tears on the verge of breaking loose.
Words couldn't describe how furious Jimin was with Jennie, Taehyung was doing so well, mentally, while with Jeongguk but she had to go ruin that. And for what? Jimin let out a sigh and pulled Taehyung's hands away again.
And so, with a heavy heart, Jimin gave in. "Fine, we won't call the police." His voice dropped to a whisper, listening to Taehyung's ragged breaths amongst the silence. He nodded, pressing his lips into a thin line as he looked down.
"But-" Jimin began and Taehyung's head instantly shot up and Jimin gulped at that. "You're gonna have to tell Jeongguk about everything, he deserves to know the actual reason why you broke up with him and then we can figure out what to do next. Think you can do that?" He smiled, his words gentle and soft.
Taehyung closed his eyes, tears beneath closed lids as he nodded once more. "Y-yeah." He mumbled, voice cracking a little and the dreadful feeling only got worse for Jimin as he looked at his friend. He swallowed his own lump in his throat.
Jimin crawled over to the front of Taehyung's bed and laid down on the pillows, head propped up. "Come here." He sighed, and Taehyung did so, plopping his head down on Jimin's chest and the moment he did, another string of broken sobs forced its way past Taehyung's lips.
"It's okay." Jimin hushed, wrapping his arms around Taehyung like that time he did for him, but this time it wasn't out of pity, it was out of solicitude. "We'll solve this, don't worry."
Taehyung continued to sob, his tears leaving a damp spot in Jimin's shirt but it didn't matter, Jimin began stroking the boy's curls. "I- I love him so fucking much." Taehyung stammered out, and Jimin nodded.
"I know you do." He mumbled over and over again until Taehyung's sobs subsided. He didn't say anything about Jeongguk but found that he had to when Taehyung asked. "D-does Jeongguk hate me?"
Jimin bit his lip, he chose not to answer Taehyung's question. Jeongguk didn't necessarily hate him, it was obvious his feelings were still there but he didn't know how Jeongguk would react to whatever Taehyung was going to tell him tomorrow and didn't want to raise his hopes so he sealed his lips.
"Jimin?" Taehyung called out weakly, yawning quickly after, and Jimin saw the look in his eyes, how they were glossy from tears but red from weariness and sighed.
"You should take a nap if you're tired. We can discuss this another time." Jimin softly spoke but Taehyung shook his head against Jimin's chest.
"It's fine." Taehyung sat up, rubbing his eyes. "You don't have to baby me again." He muttered and Jimin stayed silent until he opened his mouth to change the subject.
"How- how are you with your pills." He trailed, scratching his temple awkwardly. Jimin had a feeling that this was a touchy topic for Taehyung but he wanted to make sure he was okay.
Taehyung visibly froze which then sprouted regret in Jimin's gut for asking that question but he slightly relaxed, breathing out. He had to be honest. "N-not good. Haven't been able to take them without spitting them back out, I- I don't know why."
The anger that was coursing through Jimin's veins had quickly re-emerged, it was obvious Jennie was the issue and that absolutely infuriated him. "Taehyung, we're figuring something out tomorrow. I can't stand to see you like this." He said briskly and Taehyung merely nodded.
Jimin pulled Taehyung close while the boy just kept his arms by his sides. "Everything is going to be fine, I promise you."
"Okay."
Taehyung shuffled his way past the many students out of the dance practice room, desperate to not catch Jennie's eye as she was basically attached to him.
Theatre was getting more and more exhausting for the boy, ever since the teacher decided to merge with music to make a musical of some sorts, he had to learn to do some choreography for the play. It wasn't like he hadn't done anything like this before but it was the fact that everything else that was going on in his life was stressing him out immensely.
On top of that, they were to learn a couple of songs once the music department was done with the sheet music and production. Wiping some beads of sweat from his forehead, Taehyung let out a sigh of relief when he looked back to see that Jennie was nowhere in sight.
He used this time to his advantage to rush to Jeongguk's class, accidentally shoving many students on the way but mumbled apologies. His hands were trembling, of course, he was nervous to talk to the boy, would he even listen to him? Taehyung bit his lip, mind flooding with all sorts of thoughts and questions but that was put to a halt when he managed to see Jeongguk caught in the wave of students, he was alone.
Taehyung's hands jittered even more, a small bubble of anxiety forming in his chest but he tried to ignore it, he only had a limited amount of time before Jennie eventually found him and he needed to use it well. He didn't try calling out for the boy, he had a feeling he would try to run away again so he silently moved past the students, getting closer and closer to Jeongguk.
He gulped when he looked at the boy, he was still as pretty as ever with his brown tufts of hair falling over his face and clear doe eyes. Eventually, the wave of students was starting to clear up and Taehyung was even closer to Jeongguk, following him down the hallway, just a little more-
Jeongguk let out a confused cry when Taehyung latched onto his arm, grabbing it firmly. He turned to see the boy and his eyes widened, pretty lips parting. "T-Taehyung?" He let out, voice small.
"I- I need to talk to you." He mumbled, eyes softening at the sight of the boy up close but that was cut short when Jeongguk's shocked expression turned into disgust as he pulled his arm away from Taehyung, scoffing.
"Don't touch me." He coldly replied and tried walking away but Taehyung grabbed onto him once more, eyes pleading with desperation.
"Please," he breathed out, feeling a stab to the heart from how Jeongguk was coldly treating him but reminded himself that it made sense for him to after all he did.
Jeongguk scoffed once more, tugging his arm away. "Stop touching me!" He shouted, glaring at Taehyung. "I don't want to hear anything, not from you anyway!" He snapped but then noticed how Taehyung flinched at his raise of volume, looking as though he wanted to cry and Jeongguk's face was the one soften.
He hated his weak spot for the boy.
"O-oh, sorry. I didn't mean to shout at you." Jeongguk muttered, glancing off to the side awkwardly. "What- what was it you were going to say?"
Taehyung gave a small smile and cleared his throat, he had to be calm for this. "T-turns out Jennie wasn't actually pregnant and was faking it." He began and didn't notice how Jeongguk's face fell and morphed into a scowl as he continued. "And I- I didn't want to break up with you but I had to because-"
"So your girlfriend lied to your ass and now you want me back?" Jeongguk cocked up a brow, a hand on his hip, looking irritated. Taehyung widened his eyes and shook his head frantically.
"No, it isn't like that-"
"No, I think it is." Jeongguk snarled, sighing out after in disappointment. "What was I thinking anyway? Look, I'm not in the mood for you to feed me bullshit, Taehyung. Just tell me you lied to me and go, like you said before."
Taehyung felt his heart drop, feeling as though he was in Jeongguk's position when he had broken up with him. He now understood how hurtful his words were and regret filled every fibre of his being. He shook his head once more. "N-no, I promise you it isn't. Just listen to me-"
"What is there for me to listen to? You're just going to feed me more bullshit, like he did." Jeongguk off-handedly mumbled, and Taehyung felt another stab to his heart when he figured out who he was talking about. He opened his mouth to speak but Jeongguk interrupted him again.
"Just- just stay away from me, Taehyung." Jeongguk let out, backing away a little and Taehyung again had to ignore the pain in his heart from that small gesture. "You have no fucking clue what you put me through for the last few weeks." He whispered, light tears rising to his eyes and Taehyung just gulped.
"Let me forget you, please." Were the last words Jeongguk uttered before rushing out the empty hallway, not wanting Taehyung to see the tears spilling onto his lower lashes.
Taehyung hung his head low, letting Jeongguk's words sink in, biting the inside of his cheek as his hand gripped the material of his trousers tightly, slightly shaking. This was all his fault, why couldn't he do anything right?
Before another degrading thought could wriggle its way into Taehyung's brain, he heard the sounds of someone running up to him, their hands on his shoulders.
"There you are, Taehyung!" Jimin gasped out, removing his hands. "I figured you've talked to Jeongguk, right?" The conversation flashed itself in Taehyung's mind once more, the pain very fresh but he just nodded.
"How'd it go? Did you tell him everything?" Jimin quickly asked, anxiously waiting for Taehyung's answer but sadly sighed when the boy shook his head 'no'.
"N-not good. He wouldn't even listen to me." Taehyung bitterly chuckled after. "After all, I did break his heart so why would he?" He sighed but Jimin let out a cry of frustration.
"I should've expected that but it's none of your guys' fault. Though don't worry, I have a plan." Jimin slightly smirked and Taehyung perked up.
"You do?"
Jimin nodded assertively, a small giggle escaping his lips as he got out his phone. "It's a pretty good one if I do say so myself." He claimed, showing the photos of Jennie to Taehyung once more. A gasp coming from the boy.
"You'll be out of this mess soon." He smiled, gazing at the photos. "We just gotta wait for the right time."
Taehyung sat on his bed with his palms pressed against the mattress, Jennie sitting on his lap while on her phone. Although he was hesitant, Taehyung reluctantly agreed to Jimin's plan, giving in to his plea. It seemed like a decent idea and Taehyung trusted him amongst all the nervous trembles he got from it. Now, he just needed to execute it well.
"Jennie?" Taehyung called out softly, smiling at the girl and saw how the girl looked up from her phone.
"What is it, Taehyung?" She beamed, happy that Taehyung was the one to start a conversation this time. Was he starting to take an interest in her?
Taehyung placed his hand over Jennie's stomach over her baggy clothing, rubbing his hand. "When's the baby gonna be due?" He asked with fake enthusiasm, inwardly cringing.
