You plop onto your bed and throw yourself back, screaming at the top of your lungs while rolling yourself into an ugly sobbing cocoon of blankets.
Anyone that can hear your cries through the walls probably thinks you're a dying cat; honestly, you much rather be right now.
Even death seems better than having to deal with the utter embarrassment pulsing through your veins like a disease. Suffocating seems better than having to go back to that classroom and face all those students. Drowning seems better than having to see Jungkook ever again.
This whole bet started out as a prideful challenge but it's already morphing your whole outlook on your relationship with Jungkook. Usually in humiliating situations like this Jungkook would be the first one you would go to, but now you can't even bring yourself to face him as if he was really your crush or something.
He isn't... right?
You always admit that Jungkook is really attractive. An idiot sometimes, but still sweet and caring when he wants to be. He makes you laugh more than anyone else but you've also contemplated a few times wrapping him up in a box to ship him as far away from you as possible. Even then, he has been with you through everything, he knows all of your deepest secrets and more. Maybe you would actually like him if he wasn't such a fuckboy all of the time.
Your mind spins in circles around transferring classes and your confusing thoughts about Jungkook to the point where you feel like you just might explode.
Until your phone suddenly vibrates.
You don't even bother to check the caller ID. You manage to sit up, pushing an arm out of the snug blanket to hold the phone properly.
"Hello?" you say sluggishly, not willing to put in any effort to sound like you haven't been emotionally drained today.
"Y/N, hey," it was Jimin, sounding more cautious than anything else.
"How'd you get my number?" You don't really care right now but later on when you're not wanting to crawl into a hole and die you'll genuinely want to know.
"Jungkook," that name sparks pin pricks through your fingers and you almost drop your phone on the floor.
"Well what do you want?" You say in a rush, not really wanting to speak for too long with the man who's making your first year of college a living nightmare.
The line was quiet for a brief moment. "Are you okay?" Jimin asks softly and you almost feel like crying again, venting everything out to him but you stop yourself.
"Are you okay? Did you burst a blood vessel laughing with the rest of the class?!" You're too emotional right now to keep your voice down, you can imagine Jimin pulling the phone away to try and save his eardrum.

"Look, Y/N, I didn't mean-- "
"You're just like everyone else Jimin! You don't think about anyone else's feelings. What if that was you, huh?! God! Right in front of Jungkook!" You bury your face with one hand, squeezing your eyes shut tight in hopes that you'll suddenly come down with a case of amnesia.
You can still feel the chilling touch of the floor tiles against your face, the throbbing pain in your knee pulsing as a gut wrenching remembrance.
"That's why you're embarrassed? Because it was in front of Jungkook?" His voice comes out quiet and you freeze your sedative rocking movements.
"N-No... " You stutter and silently curse that habitual tick when you lie. "I humiliated myself in front of the whole class! How can I go back there now?! Mr. Min hates me, even more now that I left his class without permission. This is going to stick with me the rest of the year. I mean, come on, the whole class saw my damn underwear! I wonder if they took pictures... "
The line was silent for a few moments and you wonder if you somehow bored Jimin to sleep.
"Jimin?"
"I saw her trip you on purpose," his words strike up more tears that spill over your eyes.
"I-I don't know what you're t-talking about," you sputter, trying to wipe away the wet streams sliding down your face.
"Y/N, don't lie, Sana tripped you on purpose. Jungkook saw it too so I know I'm not crazy."
You freeze again, even the slight trembling of your hands come to a complete halt at the new knowledge.
"He did?" you manage to whisper, unraveling yourself from your blanket of sorrow to trudge your way out to the kitchen.
After you think about it, it's weird that Jungkook didn't follow you home like you expected him to. Even though you're still too embarrassed to see him, a part of you hoped he would still come. He's your source of comfort.
You open the fridge and look around as you lick your chapped lips.
"Yeah, he seemed pretty pissed too. He didn't stop staring at her the rest of class. And when Mr. Min dismissed everyone he ran out after her. I tried to follow them but there was just so many people in the hall... "
Jungkook ran after Sana? For what? To confront her, or to take advantage of me not being there and have his way with her without me knowing?
She did trip you on purpose, but it was obvious what Jungkook wanted from her, and knowing how much of a hornball Jungkook is, he would definitely take the opportunity, whether Sana hurt his best friend or not. She's an easy quickie he wouldn't pass up on. Not to mention she's really pretty, even though her insides don't match up at all with the outside.

The last hint being that Jungkook didn't even try to call or text you at all.
"Y/N, you still there?"
You shake your head out of the consuming thoughts and sigh, nodding your head even though he clearly can't see you. "Jimin, thanks for checking on me. You don't know me that well but you still cared enough to see if I was okay. So thanks, even though I still think you're a dick," he laughs and it brings a small smile onto your face.
You pour yourself a glass of water and sit at the table, taking small sips in satisfaction at the cool water reliving your parched throat.
"So I'm guessing that Jungkook isn't home then?"
You set down the glass a bit too hard on the table, pressing your lips together as disgusting scenarios of him and Sana pop into your mind without warning.
"Your guess is right. I don't think he'll be home for a while."
At that thought, the water feels warm compared to your frigid heart.

Jungkook cracks his neck to one side to relieve the annoying pressure.
"Jungkook, you're starting to scare me," Sana's voice rings out and hurts his ears.
The voice he was actually attracted to, the voice he wanted to hear screaming his name is now completely ear shattering instead. Jungkook's head pounds after the incident he watched Sana pull on his best friend back in class. Granted, he wouldn't like it if it happened to anyone, but this is Y/N.
His Y/N.
No slut will ever be worth more than her in his eyes.
Jungkook keeps his hands firmly planted against the brick wall on each side on her head. He managed to lure her to the back of the school with a lot of kinky hushed promises, and like others before her, it easily worked like a charm.
Only this time Jungkook wasn't looking for sex.
Seeing Sana's leg calculatingly jut out from under the desk and cause Y/N a horrible fall, not to mention the panty shot the entire class got from behind, it fuels outrage throughout his entire body.
"Why'd you do it?" Jungkook asks softly, completely opposite of the deathly glare he's trying to poison her with.
"Do what?" her innocent facade is in place and it wrenches Jungkook's gut even more.
"Don't play dumb with me Sana, I saw you trip her."
"It was an accident, Jungkook! I didn't-- "
"Don't lie, you won't like me when I'm angry," he threatens but her face simply warps into a seductive smirk.
"Oh, but I think I will," she taunts back, hand moving to fasten around the buckle of his pants.
Jungkook pushes her hands away in disgust, sweat beads forming at the crown of his head from her provocative stare.
"There's no way you could get me hard even if you tried. You disgust me," he spits out, eyes roaming around her challenging expression.
"Is that a bet? I love a fun challenge, Jungkook," Sana teases but Jungkook can't take it anymore.
He pushes off the wall and takes a step back.
"I hate bets. Nothing good ever comes out of them," he shoves his hands in his jean pockets and keeps his hard stare. "It's clear you pulled that shit out of jealousy. Anything you thought was going to happen between us, you can forget it now. And stay the fuck away from Y/N," Jungkook spat the words out before eyeing her figure one last time degradingly, turning casually on his heel to walk away.
Jungkook completely ignores Sana's begging pleas from behind him and walks off the school property, down the sidewalk to head back to his best friend who's probably pissed he didn't even call. He was pissed off himself, so pissed he completely forgot to even send you a text.
You will always be more important, of course Sana didn't know that, but that's not the right way to grab Jungkook's attention at all, or anyone for that matter. She clearly wanted him all to herself, but what she doesn't realize is that Jungkook doesn't belong to anyone.
Your beautiful face pops into his mind and he smiles cheekily at various memories you've made together. All the times he's taken care of you when you were sick, or when that guy in tenth grade broke your heart and Jungkook cuddled you to sleep every night for over a month. Or the time you literally cried like a little girl when you spilled your favorite ice cream and made him go out for another one; the only reason he did was the cute pout on your face. That summer night when you both got a little too drunk and made out on your parents couch...
Jungkook's heart suddenly clenches and he freezes, hovering a hand over his chest in confusion. Your face flashes behind his eyes again, smile flashing between those soft-looking lips. A round of adrenaline rushes his system and he shakes his head to clear it.
Suddenly he looks to his right, noticing the convenience store towering over him like a giant rectangular hint and the small smile adorns his face once again.
"Might as well get her favorite ice cream while I'm at it. I think she's gonna need it."
