Sitting next to him is even worse.
The white board squeaks noisily as Mr. Min scribbles a formula down in red expo marker. He's explaining the equation in the most monotone voice you've ever heard, but you can't seem to focus on anything except for the way Jungkook's presence has become much more compelling and in your face than it's ever been before.
Your eyes inevitably travel down Jungkook's exposed forearm, muscles working in his white t-shirt as he types out the notes of the lecture onto his laptop. His adams apple bobs up and down meticulously, eyes thankfully centered on his screen, too preoccupied keeping his promise to his mother at the moment to pay attention to anything but getting good grades.
After a couple of implied questions to your roommate about hearing anything after he left the room last night cleared the air in a relaxing wave once he said he fell fast asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
Thank goodness. That would have been a very awkward conversation to have at the kitchen table the next morning.
However, Jungkook did mention that he wasn't very fond of Jimin with little explanation. You aren't sure what he meant until you took into consideration what meeting another handsome guy like Jimin has caused:
Competition? Is Jungkook really considering Jimin his competition for the best friend spot in my life?
You watch as Jungkook stretches back, cute bunny yawn appearing on his bored face. His biceps flex, veins pulsing before your eyes and you drop your mouth like a fish out of water. You've seen Jungkook shirtless before, at the beach, the gym, at home, but something about him being your mission makes everything about him more intimidating.
And, dare you say, hot.
You fight the urge to fan yourself from the heat rolling off his body and flooding your very being. Without warning his eyes snap in your direction, meeting yours and you quickly flit your head back towards the front, cursing yourself for obviously panicking.
You can feel two orbs burning into the side of your face and you quickly glance, eyeing the beautifully annoying raven haired Jimin skeptically.

'What?' You mouth the words, brows furrowing at the smirk adorning his plump lips.
He simply winks, clear as day he can sense the irritation radiating off your body. His fingers tap a random beat on the desk and he moves his eyes quickly between you and Jungkook before resting on your face again.
"You're gonna lose," he leans over and whispers cockily into your ear and you bite back the growing groan in your throat.
"Shut up!" You try to whisper back but it comes out at a higher volume than you intended.
"Miss Y/N, would you like to volunteer to solve the problem?" Mr. Min's voice booms around the classroom and you flinch at the sound of your name.
"N-No," you utter, completely caught off guard and not wanting to be punished again.
"I'll solve it," Jungkook's voice sounds off beside you and you jerk in his direction with wide eyes.
Wow, who knew all you had to do was pretty much pay for him to go to class. Mrs. Jeon is gonna be so proud.
Your small grateful smile is wiped away as someone else raises their hand. "I'd like to help him solve it, Mr. Min!"
"Go right ahead, Ms. Minatozaki," Mr. Min smiles at the girl before throwing another glare in your direction.
"Please, call me Sana," she replies sweetly as she skips over, long chestnut locks bouncing with each step to stand a little to close to Jungkook, their arms brushing lightly as they both talk amongst themselves.
You've seen this so many times before; that Sana girl is just like the rest of them. Tempted by Jungkook's charm, lured in by his captivating smile. They all fall for him, even when he makes it clear what he wants, the only thing he can give them.
Definitely not love.
You begin to think that you made a mistake last night in making the bet. There's no way Jungkook will notice you now considering he never really did aside the few times he was just teasing or drunk. He didn't even notice the lip gloss you added into your routine today, or how you actually dressed up for school for once.

However the knowing smile on Jimin's face is not only disrupting your pride, but it's also obvious he's not going to drop the bet easily, let alone at all.
Sana's fingers intentionally collide with Jungkooks hand as they write across the board and her high pitched giggle causes a twitch to your eye. You don't even notice the curl of your lips as Jungkook shoots her an amused smirk back.
They switch places to check over each other's work and the whole class watches in awe as her ass brushes against Jungkook's front.
"Oh, sorry," Her tone is laced with sin even though she's looking innocently into Jungkook's eyes like a saint with her lashes batting.
"She really has no limits, huh?" You grumble to yourself in discontent, arms now crossing as you narrow your lids, trying to zap the back of her head with your eyes.
"Woah, Y/N, if looks could kill... " Jimin badgers from your left and you huff a quiet frustrated sigh.
You ignore him and focus on how Jungkook happily marches back up the steps to his seat after Mr. Min applauded their flawless work. He sits down with his bottom lip pulled between teeth to poorly disguise the smirk that made its way onto his face.
You laugh humorlessly and Jungkook eyes you questioningly in response. You can only shake your head and look away as he raises an eyebrow at you in confusion. How can he easily want someone who throws themselves out there like Sana but not even think twice about you? This is just a bet but you can't help the weird feelings attached at the fact that Jungkook has known you for so long but won't look in your direction once.
Is this jealousy? No way! You laugh to yourself at the stupid thought.
"Miss L/N! I see you find the next problem funny. How about you come and solve it," Mr. Min speaks in a casual tone but the icy stare chills your bones and you groan mentally.
Jungkook can't save you this time.
Slowly, being the socially awkward turtle that you are, you stiffly make your way down the steps. Only you don't notice the leg that juts out from behind a desk to trip you on your journey. You lunge forward and before you can make any sound you're face first on the floor.
The silence lasts only a few seconds before they entire classroom erupts into fits of laughter. You can feel the breeze a bit too high up on your legs. The only time you decide to wear a skirt is the time you fall like an idiot in front of the whole class.
In front of Jungkook.
Your skirt has been lifted completely, black underwear with little pink hearts on display for all to see.
For Jungkook to see.
"Oops, sorry."
You barely turn your head to see it was Sana who spoke. It was Sana who tripped you in the first place.
But you can't find your voice to speak. You sit up quickly, ignoring the pain in your right knee, and fix the black skirt that has unfortunately betrayed you.
You muster up the courage to look in Jungkook's direction, his face full of complete shock, a complete contrast to Jimin who is literally slapping his own knee with one hand and wiping his cruel tears of laughter with the other.
Tears of your own build in your system and you dart with heavy footsteps out the door, away from your utter embarrassment.
"Y/N, wait!"
You can hear Jungkook calling for you but you can't stand to have him look at you right now.
It's ruined. The mission has already failed. Next semester will be double the work load.
You need to get out of this school. Somewhere safe where you can cry to your hearts content.

Arching Choices
This is a story I used to do with people in an afterschool club, where I would make up a story, that the user/player would have options to choose from no matter how creative. There will be multiple polls, and I will read comments for the actions of the player, any one can play, because the charater will be gender neutral, but the choices will affect the story, whether it be your companions, and items you acquire. I'm a newbie writer but I just want to have some fun making a story. The chapters will be short so that the viewers can make choices. Longer chapters will be made once this has some good choice options. I thought it would be fun for the readers to develop the character's personality. Critisism welcome, because I have no idea how to write stories. P.S, Once the Character's personality is fleshed out the Synopsis will probably change
