《Hold on to me - Leonardo dicaprio》'it all happend so fast'

Wow I'm so tired, what a long night last night was...
Leo?!
Phew, he's still sleeping. I can't help but stare at him...he's just so perfect.
"Jordan! Your awake, finally."
"Brooklyn?!" She makes me jump and I almost fall out of the bed.
"Quite the shouting, your going to wake Leo!"
"Sorry..."
I pull myself up to sit back up on the, this time not hanging off.
"Why are you here anyway?"
"What do you mean, what am I here? Your in the hospital!"
"Yeah, and?"
"And your my best friend, and I care about you."
"Right..."
"As for Leo, I heard... why didn't you tell us?"
"Brooklyn, i-it all happened so fast. Don't blame me for this...please."
"No, I'm not Jordan. It's just...we're his friends too."
"I understand that, I'm sorry. I really am, if I told someone it might not of happened."
I come to realise that this is my fault. This is all my fault, I did this to him. I should have told someone. He's in the fucking hospital, how stupid can I get!
Tears start running down my cheeks. Wet patches start to fall on the sheets.
Brooklyn slowly walks over to me, she sits on the bed besides me and pulls me into a tight warm hug.
"It's not your fault, I shouldn't of been so hard on you. I'm sorry."
I pull away from the hug and look at her with a faint smile.
"You really are my best friend Brooklyn."
"And your mine too."
She stands up and heads towards the door. "I'm just going to get some water. You want some?"
"Yes please."
She nods and swiftly leaves the room, which leaves me and Leo alone. Again...

"Jordan?..."
"Leo! Your awake."
He groans "y-yeah, I am."
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, did you?"
"Yep."
Leo lays back with his head tilted looking at the ceiling. He guides his arm towards his chests then he looks down at it. He has one big white thick bandage covering almost all of his arm.
"Hey Leo...are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm, why'd you ask?"
"Are we just going to forget about what happened last night?"
"Jordan." He sighs then turns to face me, looking me directly into my eyes. "I'm sorry alright, I'm sorry that you had to see me do that." His face shows no expression, no emotion. Just a blank, straight face.
"You don't have to apologise Leo, I just want to know why? I mean there's always a story behind it, but there's no pressure, alright?"
"Jordan it's a long story, I'll tell you when I'm ready. Okay?"
I nod and form a fake smile. The sound of the door handle turning, turns me to look at Brooklyn walking into the room with two cups of water.
"Sorry I took long." Brooklyn smiles and hands me one of them then looks over at Leo.
"Oh, your awake. I would have got you one. Do you want me to back?"
"No thank you, I'm fine."
"Okay." She smiles.
🤎
Shortly after Brooklyn came back, a male doctor walks in. He looks at Leo "how are you feeling Leo!" He then looks at me and grins. Strange?
"I'm doing alright." Leo replies
The doctor nods "and you?"
"I'm good." I smile
"Okay, In that case you two can leave in the next half and hour."

"Alright, thanks." Leo nods
He walks over to the side of the bed where Leo is layer and whispers close into his ear "try not to touch the bandages. The cuts are pretty deep." Leo's face falls empty. He gulps then gives him a slow nod.
The doctor exits and the room falls silent.
"They shouldn't be letting you out Leo, not like this. Do they even know what's happened to you, do they know why your here?"
"I don't know and I don't care, I'm going!"
That's exactly what I was thinking, he's not even been in here a full 24 hours, so how are they letting him out already?
"I'm going to check with someone, I'll be right back."
Brooklyn nods and stays with Leo. I rush out of the doors then run down the hall. I reach the hospitals front desk and see a lady behind it. I approach her slowly, trying to catch my breath.
"What can I do for you?" She smiles
"Uhh, my...my." What the fuck am I saying, I know full well what he is to me. "My friend, he's in here for self harming." Her smiles turns to a frown.
"I'm so sorry about that."
I carry on "one of the doctors said he's free to leave in like half an hour. That, that's not right is it? I mean, he tried killing himself and there just letting him go like that."
Her browns furrow "yeah, people that self harm don't leave until it's been at least three days."
"So why did that doctor say he can?"
"I'm not too sure..." she stands up from her chair and walks towards me. "Can you describe to me what he looked like, or did you maybe get his name?"
How the fuck am i supposed to know his name. I'm extremely confused as to what's happening right now. "No I didn't get his name but I can tell you what he looks like. If that helps?"
"Yeah, that's fine." She picks up a notebook from her desk, grabs a pen from her pocket and takes off the lid. She then looks at me and gives me a little nod
"Oh...right. He had darkish brown hair and a stubbled moustache."
"That's all you can remember?"
"Ummm, he had a dark blue shirt on and a white blazer over the top. He also had some black pants on, his shoes were also black." I literally just described what any other doctor would look like.
"Okay, thank you. That's enough information." She walks down the hall without saying anything else. Oh no... I'm not going to get him in trouble am I? I mean so what, he shouldn't be letting Leo out already. He's clearly not doing his job right.
