Today is the day of the Basketball game. I am NOT looking forward to it.
Brooklyn drove me to school today, alone for once since she's always with Tobey now.
I'm not complaining, it's just that it's good to be alone sometimes. Just two besties together without any gross boys.
—At school—
It's now lunch break, Tobey asked us if we wanted to sit on his table with everyone. Brooklyn obviously said yes.
She's such a simp!
There was only one spear seat next to Tobey. Brooklyn clearly went and sat in it, without thinking about me.
"Where am I going to sit?" I ask, glaring around at everyone at the table.
Mickey turns to me with the biggest grin on his face.
"You can sit here." He starts patting his lap.
"NO WAY"
He looks quite angry now.
"Why not?"
"Because Mickey, why can't you understand that I don't like you like that!"
"Just come and sit."
"No! Fuck off."
I ran off to the Basketball gym. Maybe talking to Lucas will make me forget about the whole Mickey situation.
Lucas is my older sisters boyfriend. He is the Basketball coach.
Sadie, my sister she's working in London at the moment, shooting a movie. She's such a good actress it's unbelievable, I'm so proud of her. She isn't famous yet but I'm sure she will be after the movie comes out.
"Jordan, what are you doing here. The game doesn't start until 7?" Lucas asks.
"Yeah well there's no where else to go, exept here."
"Why, whats wrong?" He asks.
"This new kid, Mickey." I sigh. "He's really starting to get on my nerves."I continue "He keeps trying to touch me and calling me cringe words. He's so annoying!"

"Oh, him ah. He's actually on the Basketball team."
"What, why?"
"He says he's 'good' at it. And one of the best players at his old school."
"Well, lets just hope that's true. We don't want him being the reason they lose." I joke.
After about half an hour of talking, I think it's best I go home.
"Lucas, I'm going to head home now. I need to get ready for tonight." I smile.
"Okay, it was nice talking to you." He smiles back.
"Yeah. You too."

(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts.There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
