He really was nice in the beginning. He respected me, complimented me, bought me gifts I didn't deserve. He showed me a side of him that was tender, sensitive, broken. He asked me to help put himself back together. He told me he loved me. He stayed up with me on the nights I couldn't sleep. He wanted me. He made me want him. He made me need him. He started to trust me. He started to reveal to me a different, more hidden, sinister angle of him. He told me he was in love with me. He told me I do things to him that no one's made him feel before. He asked for a favor. He assured me it would be okay. He told me no one would find out. He used me. He used me for his selfish pleasures. He apologized every time. He then continued to use me.

And i let him. I was blind.
