Ever since yesterday's Halloween party, I've felt like shit. I shouldn't have left Liam alone. I shouldn't have dropped his hand. I shouldn't have used him.

He's at his locker when I approach, and I can tell he doesn't wanna talk to me.

"Hey," I say wearily.

"Hi." No smile forms on his face when he speaks.

"I just wanted to apologize-" He snickers.

"Yeah, you wanted to apologize, Ivy? For what? Fucking using me to make Aaron jealous? Well, I'll tell you what. You don't deserve me, and you never fucking have."

"Liam, I didn't-"

"I don't care. I don't care if you did or didn't mean it, Ivy." And he walks away.

I feel tears welling up in my eyes as I rush toward the washroom, Aaron trying to stop me as I pass his locker.

He grabs my arm.

"Let me go." I hold back tears, trying not to break down in front of him.

"Ivy," he says. I don't acknowledge him, trying to fight him off instead. He turns me around to face him, and as soon as he sees my reddened eyes, his jaw clenches.

"Tell me what happened." I bury my face into his chest as I cry.

"I didn't mean to hurt him."
