I had to do some research for this one. Oop- Only because I hadn't particularly seen one of these in action before. SO, here's my attempt at it, the soft Tanji not the dom I've been doing lol. It's just interesting to see the switch.

Tanjirou does indeed love the hell out of you but is on the shy side of things. He will hold your hand in public, kissing is often kept to the side and pecks when no one is looking.

He doesn't mention that you're his most of the time but rather shows it by taking your hand or kissing your temple in front of those he deems a threat. (as in it makes him jealous//protective of you around males he doesn't know or the same age)

In private he absolutely loves cuddles. Often ones where he get's to hold you while you fall asleep. Tanjirou also likes to give you plenty of well spaced kisses, pretty much anywhere on your face (forehead, nose, cheek, mouth, temple etc.). Constantly reminds you how beautiful/handsome you are. Likes to ask for your consent before he cuddles most of the time. Loves hugs as well so mix them and he'll be in heaven.

What's more to say? Tanjirou loves the little things you do from washing clothes to a little hidden laugh that makes his heart float. He loves that you give Nicknames to almost everyone you meet, but says his with a little more tenderly and with purpose.

It's the little things about you that he loves. From a bed head that is crazier than a mother in law or how your eyes shine in the light.

he likes it when your outfit changes in anyway. Much to say, he won't say much other than compliment you once or twice without fail. If Tanjirou has enough courage, he'll do something along the line of a cheesy pickup line. (Normally stuttering and blushing a LOT because Zen is the one who gave it to him to use.)

Lot's of hugs and comforting words. Anytime you're down, he is opening his arms for a hug and will help you feel better no matter what it takes.

Let's you rant or cry as much as you need with no judgement. He knows how it feels and doesn't wish the same for you, so he'll do much as he can to help with your burden no matter what it may be.

Makes sure you know that he's there for you and will always be there

Tanjirou wants you to be his and no one else's. (Although he would never admitt it to you or anyone else... Okay maybe his mom but that would be it)

To put it plainly, he wants to spend every day with you. One day you officially becoming his mate (wife/husband) in the long run. Even more so becoming a father so he can even more reasons to love you and the child(s)

He wants to be the kind of father his own was, being a good father figure and mate for you and kids.

Tanjirou is a soft Dom for sure. (Sometimes becoming a Sub but not very often) (AND SHooooSH hard dom is just something I made up, I doubt that he would act that way really) Likes to pamper you with hugs and kisses and on occasion pleasure you fully with what you desire at the time. (You often have to beg him to do it)

Likes to remind you how you look in his eyes, always asking you if it's actually ok for him to touch you. (as in... I THINK YOU know OK) Often you and just end up on the same level of dom/sub of somewhere in between.

These kinds of things don't happen often in your relationship with Tanjirou. When they do its normally miscommunication or a mixup with words causing a petty fight. Right away he feels bad and tries to get you to talk to him when he gets the silent treatment.

Make ups always include soft cuddles and kissing but not too far since niether of you have enough energy to even go that dar

Makes sure that you know how much he loves and wants you. Tries to make you laugh or blush in order for you to forgive him. (pretty much vise versa)

Niether of you can yell at each other because nothing has ever gone that far, but if it does happen you would pretty much break down in tears while he instantly regrets it and takes whatever he said back.

If you yelled at him he would be taken back but understand how you feel but not speak on this issue in fear of upsetting you more.

Oh boy, he is hella grateful for you. Often thinks that you could deserve better but never says it. Tanjirou always wants to make sure that you feel just as grateful for him as he is for you. (often by doing tasks for you or complimenting you for when you look like a mess)

He is 200% honest with you. It's either tell you the truth or don't say anything at all. He clearly doesn't have the heart to tell you anything different.

You tend to keep to yourself about things that need to be said Until Tanjirou will prompt you to be honest with him.

Inspiration-

You are each other's inspiration. Your ability to tell others or be strong in a situation he can't prompts him to be better in the areas where he lacks.

Tanjirou inspires you to be kinder and invite more people into your sheltered life. Often showing you how to interact with people you don't know etc.

OH THIS IS THE FUN Shit

Tanjirou knows that most of your friends are guys, having very little interaction with other females. He'll often show them by kissing your hand or temple right in front of them when you ask him something.

Doesn't like it when males he doesn't know get 'too' close *cough* deku *cough cough* Anyone that get's too close he'll even go so far as to put a hand around your waist, showing them non verbally that you belong to him (WE all know he be smiling like nothing is even going on)

Gets a little possessive but won't do anything drastic other than verbally remind you.

He loves little kisses, as often said, the nose, temple, knuckles, hand or cheek being some of the places to affectionately show he cares but doesn't fluster the hell out of you.

He'll do this when showing how much he loves you, comforting or apologizing (normally the hand) Your first kiss with him wasn't something he expected to say the least.

You were the one to kiss him first and he loved how you took the initiative in doing so. He thinks you're hell of a good kisser but won't say it to your face due to embarrassment

This adorable idiot didn't know he liked you for a good 8 months. (before that even)

You on the other hand started developing feelings during the 2 year training gap and managed to keep it hidden thus confusing Tanjirou on why you acted odd sometimes

He eventually managed to figure it out when you over exerted yourself bringing him back from the final selection. He did ask you in a polite why asking you to be his.

HE REALLY wants to marry you. Keep you to hug and to hold for the rest of his life since he had lost you once before. (full story in book) This has also becoming protective over you around threats but eventually managed to let you be.

He day dreams about this often wondering how you would act and or say in the situation. Tanjirou is holding out until you guys are 18 and the corps let's you guys go. but doesn't know how to even ask let alone make you say yes. (even though you would in a heartbeat.)

He also dreams about how is family would react if they were alive but doesn't dwell on it too long or else he gets sad :(

He often calls you by your own name except for when he wants to fluster you, Then he calls you Cherry or Cherry blossom due to how you smell like them. (n/n) is also one but doesn't use it often.

Only this name when he's around others and wants to call you something different then your name to show the connection you two share.

You have always called Tanjirou- Tanji-Kun because when you were taken into his family, you couldn't pronounce his name right and just cut half of it off. This odd habit continued and you stuck with the name since it seems that he liked it.

This isn't obvious to others that you two are dating. Most of his affection is done in private but will show some in public. Tanjirou will get into a staring mode sometimes with a love struck look until someone knocks him out of it. calls you beautiful often when alone but not much in public

When alone much more affection is shown from nicknames, cuddles, makeouts and more.

As I've said before. He doesn't have the courage you do to be up front about the relationship you two share. he keeps it to hand holding or pecks on the cheek while neither of you say nothing up front, you will say it if the question arises.

If it comes down to it, he will full on let the someone know by wrapping a arm around you or kissing you straight up. (he learned that from Inosuke just telling the other person that you belong to Tanjirou not anyone else)

And no, I'm not talking about the superpowers. I'm talking about his sense of smell. It helps him know when you're feeling something other than happy or content.

This goes for you too, although less developed as his. The two of you can sense each other's emotions to try and help each other. (he also knows when you start... Mainly because he can smell the hormonal imbalances along with the blood)

You two often support each other through everything since you two have a level of connection above best friend since you grew up with Tanjirou. You two know each others ins and outs, likes and dislikes, etc.

With Tanjirou being a soft Dom and sometimes a sub, he never really strays from a certain way of doing things. At points you will spice things up but never stray to far from Vanilla maybe strawberry. (heheee) He will hit your kinks if you are enticing enough and get him in just the right mood depending on what it is.

Often to get you riled up, he'll whisper in your ear and kiss it. Tanjirou won't ever go on if you don't want it or seem uncomfortable to him. but that hasn't happened. Tanjirou chooses when these spicy moments will happen but you can initiate when they happen if you get him in the right mood.

Tanjirou is one of the most emphatic people... LIKE EVER. He always tries his best to understand how you feel about something and walk in your shoes. You do this as well to a extent.

You mean the world to Tanjirou. Being first on the list and his younger sister second. You had gone through the same loss of his family, going through that bumpy ride and through the rest of the way together and growing as a pair.

You rise above the material things he wants in life. Tanjirou wants to make sure he can make you happy.

Tanjirou means the world to you. Basically the first paragraph but you feel a strong need to protect him from anymore heartache and loss. This takes the cake when anything dangerous is happening. Since you both know extreme loss it drives you to protect each other above normal means.

Tanjirou doesn't get that wild but sometimes a mild dom instead of a soft. That's when your small sub side will take over and let him do what he pleases. Often ending in a makeout or extended cuddle time.

Tanjirou is very affectionate in private areas or when people are sleeping. When that little wild card takes affect, he ends up teasing you just a bit making you emotionally melt. He lwoves cuddles and soft kisses on the back of your neck when you two spoon.

He acts normal enough when you aren't around. (Depends if you were taken) On the inside he's actually just wishing you were there with him, walking through life with him even though he knows you'll be back.

To coope, and depending on how long you're gone, he'll sniff the clothes you washed since they smell like cherry blossoms, or cuddle something you left behind. (Like a girl PFT)

Tanjirou will go to a medium length to make sure you're happy but doesn't want to seem desparite with his connection with you. But if it's a issue that threatens your life or his, the two of you would go to the ends of the earth to make sure that each of you are safe.

If this were to happen, expect lots of demands to (let them go, stop that, how dare, etc) You would just injure them until they stopped what they were doing. (often involving cussing from your end) The two of you won't cross the line of death if was a human threatening, but you will beat them enough in order to make them stop.
