《Son of Jaune Arc》Chapter 14 The Witch

NO POV
Once again, Junior had found himself captured. Like last time, he awoke in a dark cold place. The cell he was in was red and black and looked to be made out of muscle. Currently, the young boy sat in a corner with his knees tucked to his chest.
Junior hated how easily he got captured in a short amount of time. He always tried to act tough but he tried to fight it always ended badly for him. Even with his semblance, it only got him so far. It may be strong enough to take down a single grimm, but it was no help here. Look at him now, stuck in an unknown place by an unknown person.
Junior(thought): Every time I think something is going my way, it just gets worst. For I get kidnapped by some deranged lady and now I got captured by a grimm. I'm never going to mom again aren't I. I'm just doomed to be some one's captive for the rest of my life. I'll never become a huntsman like dad.
Just then he felt a chill run through his body like he never felt before. It was if something was trying to warn him that something dangerous was coming towards them. Just then the door to his cell opened and in walked a tall woman.
This woman had bone white hair and skin, with piercing red and black eyes. She gave off a calming, yet terrifying vibe.
???: Hello there, young arc.
Junior backed further into his corner.
???: No need to be afraid young child, I only wish to talk to you.
The young boy then managed to gather the courage to talk.
Junior: W-Who...who are you?
Salem: Throughout times I have called many different things. But you may simply call me Salem.

Salem continued to observe the young boy.
Salem: You are definitely their child. Red hair from your mother, blue eyes from your father. You also posses your mother's fighting spirit, but you father's fighting skills.
Junior: How do you that?
Salem: I know more than you think, for example how your father died.
Junior fell silent.
Salem: He thought he could take down my wyvern and be a hero. He was nothing more than a fool who only threw his life away.
Junior: DON'T TALK ABOUT MY DAY YOU BI...
Hands of darkness shot out from the ground ands wrapped around Junior, who's eyes were now wide from terror. Salem glared at him with her dark eyes.
Salem: Such a mouth from such a young boy. Be warned, I have no problem with killing a child. The only reason you are still alive is because I need you later on. However misbehave, and you will surfer. So sit there and cower like a good child.
Junior was released and fell to the ground as Salem left the room. Junior just sat there on the ground, curled up in a little ball.
Junior woke up, still in the that dark room. There was nothing he could do, even if he broke out Salem could easily catch him. When he looked into her eyes, he saw nothing but cold and emptiness. She meant it when she said she had no problem killing him.
So Junior sat there, the longer he did the weaker he started to feel. Then the door to his cell opened up and in walked a familiar tanned skin boy with a green coat.
Oscar: Junior, is that really you?
When Junior saw Oscar he immediately ran over and hugged his leg. Oscar knelt down and started to stroke his back.

Oscar: Don't worry, we'll be getting out of here soon.
Oscar then turned to his other two accomplices, Hazel and Emerald.
Oscar: What could Salem want with a kid?
Hazel: My guess is as good as yours, all Salem said is that she needed the kid for something.
Oscar: Whatever it is, it's not going to happen. Now lets get out of here.
Hazel: You and Emerald go on, I'll stay here and try to distract Salem.
And so Oscar along with Emerald and Junior all began to make a run for the exit. Emerald had even used her semblance to make disguise Oscar as Hazel. Everything was going smoothly until they turned the corner and ran into a familiar group of people. Yang, Ren, and Pyrrha.
The three huntsman got ready for battle, but Emerald's mirage disappeared and revealed Oscar. The three were shocked and went over to hug him but then saw that he had someone else.
Yang: Wait is that...
Oscar turned around and revealed Junior who was now asleep. Pyrrha instantly ran over and embraced her son tightly.
Pyrrha: Oh Junior, thank god you're safe! I thought I wouldn't be able to find you!
That's when she realized something, Junior wasn't waking up. Not only that but his breathing was labored. Pyrrha put her hand onto his head and felt that he was burning up.
Pyrrha: Oh know, Junior's sick.
Oscar: What, but he was fine a few minutes ago.
Emerald: You know the quicker we get out of here the sooner we can get him to a doctor.
Yang: Wait why is she here?
Oscar: Yang, she helped both of us escape.
Yang: So, for all we know she could be leading us into a trap.
Ren: She's not, I can tell. She' scared, like us.
Emerald: Or maybe I'm the only one who knows the way out. Now lets go before we get caught.
Now that everyone was back together, they could finally get the hell out of here. They eventually made it to a large opened area with an opening in the side of the grimm. As they were about to leave the whole monster began to shake, Emerald's eyes widened as she started to back away.
Oscar: What's going on?
Emerald: It's her.
A loud screeching sound echoed through the beast, they all covered their ears to block out the sound. Then the wall exploded, from the smoke Salem appeared. And she looked pissed.

Game? Second autumn
DROPED. This is a story about a guy who died and went isekai. While the characters may sometimes may seem too crazy, they are simply that, crazy. There is an actual way to do everything in this novel, may it be turning into a God, whatever the fuck is above that protect me from ever having a destiny like that, or conjuring a fire ball, and those are all explained during the novel. Some things are basic, like earth magic is stronger underground, or the law of equal exchange, but everything is explained at it's own time. Also on Webnovel.
