《The One Eyed Chimera( Tokyo Ghoul x Male Reader)》Chapter 31 Apocalypse

NO POV
After receiving the news, Kaneki and Touka got married. The ceremony was held in the 24th ward with all types of people attending, both humans and ghouls. They partied the night away, drinking and laughing. Forgetting all about the problems happening in Tokyo right now. For tonight was a night celebration and love. Unfortunately, the peace was about to turn into chaos.
Y/N sat near the fire drinking blood, merely enjoying the time where he can sit and relax. That's when he sensed it, he quickly got up and looked up. From above, stood dozens of oggai along with the deranged Mutsuki.
Y/N: HEY WE GOT WEDDING CRASHERS!
The oggai came raining down and started attacking the guest. Those who could fight, mainly the members of Goat, ran forwards and began fighting. Also at the same time, defending those who were running away.
Despite being out numbered, the ghouls and doves managed to take down oggai after oggai. Y/N was running around, looking for Kaneki. He found him with Touka.
Y/N: Hey Kaneki, we're going to need you out here.
Touka: Wait are you...
Kaneki: He's right, you need to get out of here. I promise I'll coming looking for you afterwards.
Y/N: Don't worry Touka, I'll bring your husband home.
Touka: Okay, both of you be careful.
The two hybrids ran off, joining the battle. For the two powerhouses, they had no trouble killing the oggai off. Y/N found a group of oggai fighting Hinami, who was defending a group of children. She managed to kill off most of them, but one got past her. Y/N came bolting in and ripped the oggai in half.
Hinami: Y/N!
Y/N: Hinami, make sure all of these kids get out of here.

Hinami: What about you?
Y/N: Don't worry, I've dealt with worst and survived.
Hinami hesitated for a moment before running off with the kids. Y/N heard someone approaching and it was Mutsuki, looking more than ever like she wanted to kill. The two glared at each other.
Y/N: Of all the people here, it had to be you freak.
Mutsuki: Actually I'm glad to see you, now I can carve your face off.
Y/N: You got problems.
Mutsuki threw her knives into the air and charged at Y/N. When the first knife came down, she grabbed it and slashed at Y/N. Y/N used his koukaku and blocked the attack. Mutsuki then threw the knife back into the air and grabbed another one. She continued to do this while Y/N blocked each of her slashes.
Y/N kicked Mutsuki away and brought out his ukaku and fired. She in return, brought out her own kagune to defend her and then lunged with them. Y/N brought his rinkaku and knocked them away. Y/N charged at Mutsuki and started swinging his koukaku around.
He managed to stab Mutsuki in her chest, but she caught him off guard and stabbed in right in the eye. She then used her bikaku and threw him away. Y/N got back up as his eye started to heal. Mutsuki came from above but Y/N jumped out of the way.
Y/N: I got to say I underestimated you, last time you couldn't even get near me.
Mutsuki: This time, I'm going to make you scream for mercy.
Y/N: Better be careful, the last time a person did that to me I devoured them.
Mitsuki brought out six bikaku tails while Y/N brought out his rinkaku and bikaku. The two began to thrash their kagunes around as they collided with each other. Mutsuki ran at Y/N and began hand to hand combat. Y/N managed to block her blows but she got him with a headbutt.

Mutsuki: You bastard, I'll kill you! And then I'll bring teach back home!
Y/N: Your obsession with Kaneki is really starting to get annoying!
Y/N kicked her back and Mutsuki ran at him again. However Y/N stabbed her with his rinkaku and skewered her onto a large rock. Mutsuki tried to break free but it was pointless.
Y/N: Give it up, if I was taking you seriously I would have killed you in the beginning.
Mutsuki: You think I'm just going to sit here in die? Once I'm done here with you, I'm going after that purple haired bitch.
Y/N: That's it!
He lifted her up into the air and smashed her down into the ground. As she tried to get up from the crater, Y/N appeared before her and kicked her right in the jaw. She went flying into a pile of rubble.
Y/N: I've never liked you quinx, however back then I had respect for you. You may have not been the best fighter, but you were kind. Now look at you, you're no different than the psychopaths I've battled against over the years.
Mutsuki didn't say anything as she just lied there. Then everything started to shake. From the ground, large tendrils with mouths and eyes started popping up all over the place.
The fighting stopped as they were all stunned by what was happening. And this wasn't the only place where this was happening. All across Tokyo these gigantic kagunes were growing. Everyone started to flee, the ghouls, humans, and oggai. Y/N even took off, but stopped to look at the dazed Mutsuki.
Y/N: God damn my sane mind.
He wrapped his kagune around her and took her with him. The whole area started to come down as this mass started to spread.
Y/N POV
What the hell is happening? After I got out of there I dropped Mutsuki off, who was still not responding. I then managed to find everyone else and was filled on what had happened. Apparently this thing is a giant kakuja with Kaneki in the center.
Me: Wait you're serious, how can any ghoul have enough RC cells to produce something like this?
Yomo: Our best guess is from the oggai, he must have devoured them and the overload of RC cells caused him to go crazy.
Me: Damn, think we'll be able to find him in there?
???: Our chances are slim.
Now entering the conversation was Tsukiyama.
Tsukiyama: We just heard that this creature spreads through out Tokyo and is continuing to grow. No telling how massive it will become.
If he's right, this could mean the downfall of Tokyo. So V, is this your master plan?

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

"I don't know who you think you are coming here, and acting like you don't care about anything. Now listen here Princess, because I'm not going to repeat myself. Here's a couple of rules that I'd like to enlighten upon you. Number one, you do not talk back to me. And two, you don't mess with me or the rules," his breath fans my face and I close my eyes. The proximity between us was terrifying. "I've dealt with many bitches like you, so I suggest that you follow those rules unless you want to end up like them," - he leans in. His mouth lingers near my ear, "used."... "... You might think that you run this place, but you do not run me. Understand? And the sooner you understand that, the better it'll be for the both of us," I warn staring right into his eyes before walking away. I was more than amused by his dumbfounded expression. I stop, and turn back around, facing him, "And one piece of advice, know what you're fishing for before you start fishing. What if you find a shark and it reels you in, instead?"⇒Highest rank: 1 in Chicklit on 01.08.16
