No POV
Yotsubashi turned his head to face the blinding red light. When it vanished, a familiar creature stood there.
Yotsubashi: So...you're taking on that repulsive form again?
Instead of responding Shikorae just laughed, pissing off Yotsubashi. He then took the opportunity and charged at Shikorae, as he was distracted. He threw a punch at the beast, but Shikorae jumped high into the air dodging the blow. As he came back down, he coiled his body around Yotsubashi with his claws imbedded in his flesh.
Shikorae:
Yotsubashi struggled against the grappling of Shikorae, but finally managed to throw him off. Deep gashes were left on his body from the claws. Shikorae landed back on his feet as Yotsubashi charged once again. He threw punch after punch, trying to hit Shikorae, but Shikorae was leaping all round the place.
Shikorae:
Yotsubashi ignored Shikorae and kept on the offensive, all the while Shikorae continued to gloat.
Shikorae:
Yotsubashi was becoming more and more pissed off by Shikorae, and he knew it.
Shikorae:
Shikorae was cut off as Yotsubashi's fist made contact with his face, a sickening crunch could be heard.
Yotsubashi: That's enough out of you.
The impact of the punch slammed Shikorae into the ground. Yotsubashi went for another strike, but Shikorae stuck out his legs and impaled Yotsubashi with them. He then lifted the man into the air and did a suplex on him.
As Yotsubashi got back up, Shikorae jumped right onto his back. Yotsubashi struggled to get him off as Shikorae started slashing and ripping chunks of flesh off of him.
Yotsubashi(thought): Dammit, I was hoping to save this for later. But if I want to win I'll have to use it.
From the ground, various large metallic objects shot out from the ground and went flying towards Yotsubashi. Shikorae jumped off him as the parts impacted Yotsubashi and then began to merge with each other. Shikorae only watched in amazement.

Yotsubashi: BEHOLD JAIL, THIS IS MY TRUE POWER. DETNERAT'S PATENTED BURDEN AMPLIFYING STEEL PRESSURE MECHANISM, CLAUSTRO!
Shikorae:
Yotsubashi: FOR GENERATIONS MY ANCESTORS WHERE FORCED TO HIDE BECAUSE OF THEIR POWERS! THEY DESIRED A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE WOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY! AND I WILL BE THE ONE TO DO THAT, NO MATTER THE COST!
Yotsubashi ran at Shikorae, faster than he anticipated and slammed his fist against Shikorae. Shikorae was sent flying back and landed in rubble. Right as he got back up Yotsubashi was once again in front of him and sent him flying with another powerful punch.
Shikorae was now forced onto the offensive, running away to avoid the powerful blows of Yotsubashi's armor. Even when he managed to attack, his claws didn't even leave a mark on the metal.
Shikorae(thought):
Shikorae jumped high into the air, but Yotsubashi followed him. In mid air, Yotsubashi slammed his fist against Shikorae, sending him straight into the ground. As Yotsubashi came falling down, Shikorae managed to jump out of the way of the impact. Soon after Yotsubashi continued his attack.
Yotsubashi(thought): Rio Shikorae, and boy born quirkless and parentless. A curse in a world like this.
Shikorae tired to claw at him, but Yotsubashi knocked him back.
Yotsubashi(thought): You desired nothing more than to help people. You even managed to land in one of the best hero schools in the country.
Yotsubashi grabbed Shikorae by the legs and slammed him into the ground.
Yotsubashi(thought): However once there you faced prejudice for your lack of powers. It wasn't until everyone thought you were dead for them to realize their mistakes.
He got on top of of Shikorae and landed blow after blow upon him.
Yotsubashi(thought): You suffered more than anyone could ever imagine. You gained great powers, but with the cost of your humanity. You become a sadistic villain.
Yotsubashi grabbed onto Shikorae with both hands and hoisted him up into the air.

Yotsubashi(thought): My ancestors were seen as monsters because of their powers. And you were seen as a freak with and without your quirk. It's a shame we didn't meet earlier in your life.
With great ease, he ripped Shikorae in half.
Yotsubashi(thought): I would have loved to help you.
The pulverized remains of Shikorae fell to the ground. From them, Shikorae crawled out as Yotsubashi walked away. This angered Shikorae.
Shikorae: Where the hell are you going, our fight isn't over?
Yotsubashi didn't even look back.
Yotsubashi: If you couldn't beat me in that monster form of yours, what makes you think you can beat me now?
Shikorae: We'll just have to see.
Shikorae brought out his rinkaku and charged at Yotsubashi.
???: You've done enough Shikorae, I'll handle it from here.
Both stopped and turned to face the voice. They saw Shigaraki standing there, his face covered in blood, hair paler, and a small smile.
Shigaraki: You fought well, rest easy, for I'll finish him off now.
Shikorae wanted to protest but couldn't.
Shikorae(thought): He looks the same, but my senses are telling me to get the hell away from him.
Shikorae leapt away, leaving just Shigaraki and Yotsubashi. Yotsubashi got ready to fight, while Shigaraki merely knelt down. The moment he touched the ground, it began to crack and break apart. This effect started to spread throughout the area, causing buildings to crumble down. When it got over to Yotsubashi, his mechanic legs started to break apart so he jumped away. Even Shikorae had to dodge the attack.
Shigaraki: DESTROY IT ALL!
A giant explosion of dust and debris covered the area, when it cleared all that was left of the area was a large crater. Lying on the ground was Yotsubashi, back to his normal self but he was also missing both his legs. From the cloud Shigaraki appeared, covered in blood. As he was about to touch Yotsubashi, the remainder of the Meta Liberation Army appeared. They were ready to fight for their leader, but one look at Shigaraki was enough to make them back down. The battle was over, the League of Villains had won.
The league now sat in a mansion, enjoying their new luxurious lives. Dabi, Compress, and Spinner sat together eating sushi.
Compress: Hazzah, we live to fight on. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
Dabi: Like you did that much fighting.
Compress: I'll have you know I'm useful in other ways.
In the center of the room was Twice, who had an alter of Toga and was crying over it.
Twice: Oh Toga, why did you have to die?
Toga: Twice get rid of that creepy alter, I'm still alive.
Toga was indeed alive, but got banged up in the battle. Twice kicked the alter away and started to talking to himself.
Dabi: I was hoping that psyche of yours got stitched up in that battle, guess I was wrong.
Compress: At least his was.
Compress was talking about Shikorae, who sat in the corner eating a tray of flesh. The weird part was he was using a knife and fork to eat it.
Shikorae: Shut up.
Spinner: You have to admit, it is weird seeing you eating on a plate rather than ripping chunks of meat straight from the corpse.
Shikorae: I may be more in control of myself, but that doesn't mean I'm any less of a killer than I was before.
That was when members of the liberation army arrived to lead them all to the big event. All except Shikorae, who decided it was better if he stayed behind. So there he remained, kneeling on a balcony, staring up at the starry night. In an instance, his signature insane smile appeared as his eyes glowed with madness.
Shikorae: Izuku Midoriya....I can't wait to see you again....I can't wait to see how much we've both improved.
Shikorae's psychotic laughs echoed throughout the night.

Keeper
When I first woke up I knew only three things: My name is Reiza, I have a seed I need to care for, and a song. I was told that the forest I woke up in was mine and that I needed to take control of it and protect it. The only things standing in my way are nature itself, a bunch of strange floating boxes, and a group of crazy powerful creatures known as the forest queens. Sounds pretty simple right? It might be if it weren't for the fact that I have absolutely zero memory, but hey at least I know my name. Also apparently my enemies aren't only inside the forest. Forces from the outside got news that somthing was going down in my new home and are coming to crash my party. Can I claim this forest? Can I protect it? And most importantly can I figure out who I am and what's going on? I'm not sure but I'm going to try. Hey everyone I'm fairly new to writing novles and this is my first time ever putting my work on a site like this one. I hope you enjoy the story and would appreciate your feedback. I would ask that you read through at least a couple of chapters before leaving a rating. I know I have some trouble with grammer and how I structure some of my sentences and while feedback on that is appreciated what I would value most is feedback on the story as a whole in terms of how the plot works and if you are enjoying it or not. Cursed Forest
This is a high fantasy story with horror elements, featuring the map-maker and half-elf Aspen, and his friend Sekafi, a hyena-like humanoid as they are sent on a mission to map out unknown territory and encounter a monster. Soon they're involved in something larger and more dangerous than they ever wanted. What happens next, you'll find out when you read. This is the first story I'm publishing here on RoyalRoad. I wanted to try this site out since it's more geared towards fantasy. I've been at Wattpad for about 2 years under the same name, but since I'm not writing romance I haven't gotten much steam there. This is my latest story, and it's also published on Wattpad in the book called Short Stories. I wanted to start with something new and unfinished here. I'll try and update at least once every other week, sometimes more often. ~RiisingNovels

Unprotected Sects
When freshly-graduated Dr. Selva Imroth accepted a short job from her former doktormutter, she had expected to interview a few PhD washouts and write a report to the Dean. Unfortunately for Selva, everything in her life has to be an ordeal. Updates every weekday, but not on the weekend. I hadn't planned on doing NaNoWriMo, but then on Halloween night I was sharing an old plot bunny with a new friend and realized, "oh shit I can actually use this." So, here we are. Thanks, friend. In true NaNoWriMo fashion, I will not be using my typical editing process here, and will instead simply vomit words onto your screen as quickly as possible, trying valiantly to avoid asking myself "oh my god who CARES" because tangents are important to wordcount.
