In Lionheart's office stood not only Team SSSN but also Jaune.

Sun: So why did you call us here professor?

Lionheart: I've been talking to your teachers and have got a lot of positive feed back. You all have improved in your fighting styles as well as how you fight as a team. So because of this, I thought I would give the 5 of you a special mission that you would have to wait until your second year to do.

Everyone was psyched by this.

Scarlet: So what's the mission sir?

Lionheart: A simple but deadly mission. You will have to go travel to an abandoned village in the middle of the village. It was once inhabited but became overrun by grimm. The kingdom intends on trying to rebuild it but must first clear the area of grimm. A word of advice, stay together. You're better staying together, it will be easier to fight off the horde.

Everyone: GOT IT!

In a bullhead were the five guys heading towards the mission site. After about half an hour a small village in the middle of a dense jungle came to view. The only problem was the mass horde of beowolves that covered the area. As they came directly over the village, the guns on the bullhead opened fire and started eliminating the grimm.

Pilot: That'll get you guys started, I'll be circling around the area and call you of any grimm. Once your done pop a flare.

Sun: You got it, team LET'S MOVE OUT!

All five off the guys jumped out of the bullhead. Once they did the bullhead flew away. The beowolves turned their heads towards them and charged.

Sun: Show them what you got!

Sun changed his weapon into their nunchuck form. As the grimm got close he would kick them in the head and blast them with his weapon. Not only that he would also use his enhanced agility to leap over the grimm and blast them in the back. It appeared he was having to much fun with this.

Neptune got on top of a pillar and started blasting grimm from there with his weapon in the gun form. However a beowolf rammed into the pillar, making in fall to the ground. He luckily landed on his feet but was now vulnerable to the grimm. So he transformed his gun into a trident and fought off the grimm with that.

Scarlett was constantly on the move. He charged at the grimm and would duck under them and slash them across the torso. Not only that but he used his gun to blast any grimm in the face that got to close.

Sage was using his semblance to keep the grimm in place. He then used his large sword to easily severe them in half.

And finally we have Jaune who was doing an incredible job. Whenever a grimm would attack him he used his shield to block and get up close with his sword to kill them. He used his semblance to enhance his aura to enhance his shield, which allowed him to take stronger attacks head on. All that time of hard training was finally paying off.

Soon all of the grimm in the village have been vanquished, leaving all of the men exhausted and tired.

Neptune: We did it! Man I'm tired.

Scarlet: Unfortunately we are not done yet, we still have to take down any grim in the area.

Jaune: But we haven't gotten any calls yet, so we're done.

Just then the pilot called in.

Pilot: Hey I just spotted more grimm heading into a valley. Head there and see what's going on.

Sun responded to the pilot.

Sun: Got it, we're on our way now.

After that Sun turned to the rest of his team.

Sun: Come on guys, we're not done yet!

The others groaned. But they had a job to do, so they moved on. After a short hike they arrived at the valley the pilot told them about.

Neptune: This place screams omen.

Sage: And unfortunately we have to go into this place.

And so they did, with their guards up and weapons at the ready. However after a few minutes there was nothing.

Jaune: Whelp we came and we saw nothing, lets head back.

As they turned around, they saw it. A monster you only see in nightmares. A nuckelavee grimm.

It just stood there, staring at them. Suddenly it reared it's head back and let out a horrific scream that shook the entire place. Team SSSN readied themselves for battle.

Sun: Be careful everyone!

The grimm extended it's arms, trying to grab them. Everyone jumped out of the way, however the grimm swept it's arms which caught Neptune off-guard and sent him flying into a boulder.

Sun: Crap, Scarlett check on Neptune we can take care of this!

Scarlet ran over to Neptune, leaving Sun, Sage, and Jaune to fight the monster. The grimm once again tried to grab them, making them run to avoid it's long arms.

Jaune: Sage I have a plan!

Sage: What is it?

Jaune: Use your semblance to keep one of it's arms in place, then I'll do the rest.

And so as an arm went to grab Sage, he jumped out of the way as the arm imbedded in the ground.

Sage:

The grimm tried to move it's arm but I couldn't move which made Jaune grin.

Jaune: Now it's my turn.

Jaune charged with his sword encased in aura. He jumped in the air and as he landed he sliced off the arm. The grimm roared in pain which made everyone cover their ears. The grimm went to attack again but was overwhelmed by clones of Sun.

Sun: You guys finish it off, I'll distract him!

Both Jaune and Sage looked at each other.

Sage: You ready?

Jaune: Oh yeah.

And so they both ran at the grimm. Sage with his large sword and Jaune with his sword encased in aura. At the same time they sliced the grimm across the torso, cutting it in half. Shortly afterwards, it started turning to dust. Sun began to cheer in victory.

Sun: WE DID IT! Today we have proven that Team SSSN will always incinerate the competition!

Sage: This mission was hell but we completed it.

Jaune: Yeah we did.

Jaune and Sage looked at each other, caught in one and another's eyes. Their victory, however was short lived. The walls of the cannon blew up, causing hundreds of rock to fall down.

Jaune: OH CRAP!

Jaune blacked out as boulders were about to crush him.
