NO POV

Maria: There all done.

Everyone went over to see Maria's work. She had just finished bandaging up Tock. Shortly after Roman brought Tock back he departed and Tock passed out from blood loss.

Oscar: Are you sure she'll be fine?

Maria: I may not be a doctor, but I know how to apply bandages. She'll survive until we can get her to a doctor after this.

Ruby: How do you think everyone else is doing out there?

Maria: I'm sure they're fine. It's Yin we should be worried about, we have no idea where he is.

???: What did you say?

They turned around and saw Neo there.

Ruby: Nothing Neo, you should go to bed.

Neo: Okay" Neo said as she rubbed her eyes"

Meanwhile everyone else was sitting around.

Nora: This is boring, can we go out and fight?

Ren: You know what they said, let the adults handle this.

Nora: Where almost adults!" Nora said with a pout"

Just then something crashed into the building. Everyone went to investigate, except for Maria and Oscar who stayed behind to watch Neo. Who they saw made their eyes widened, it was Adam Taurus.

Blake: A-adam

Adam: Hey Blake

Yang: You're alive?

Adam: As you can see.

Blake: How, we watched you die.

Adam: So you thought.

Just then Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha all charged at him. Adam easily dodged all of their swings in slashes. When Nora went to hit him, he roundhouse kicked her into a wall. Ren tried to cut Adam, but he kicked Ren in the back. Sending him face into the ground.

Adam: You guys suck.

Just then Pyrrha stabbed Adam in the just. Much to their surprise, it didn't phase him.

Adam: Let's get this over with.

Adam manifested his tendril, which sent Pyrrha flying backwards. Adam took off his mask, revealing his right eye transformed.

Weiss: You're like the rest of them.

Adam: Yes I am." Adam said with a grin"

Adam lunged with his tendril, which Weiss blocked with her glyphs. Yang fired bullets from her gauntlets, which Adam easily blocked. He then used his tendril to hit Yang right in the stomach. Ruby used her scythe to launch forwards. She went to swing, but Adam blocked. Ruby kept swinging but no luck. Finally Adam used his semblance to slash Ruby across her torso.

Blake then charged, Adam tried to use his tendril but he couldn't move it. He turned around and saw that it was being restrained by glyphs. Blake and Adam engaged in combat, sparks flying from the collision. Blake lunged forwards and stabbed Adam in his abdomen. Adam only laughed.

Adam: Sorry, but that's not going to work again.

Adam then used a moon slash to cut Blake across her abdomen. Weiss charged forwards using her glyphs. She used her glyphs to move quickly and dodge the tendril. Adam managed to keep up with her and then he managed to wrap his tendril around her leg. He then threw Weiss straight into a pillar.

Adam: Is this all you people have? I managed to defeat you all in less then 5 minutes and I'm didn't even break a sweat.

Just then something exploded upon hitting Adam's back, destroying his tendril. He turned around and saw Nora with her grenade gun. Ren and Pyrrha charged forwards. Ren slashing Adam's left side while Pyrrha cut his right shoulder.

Ruby: Let's do this, White Rose!

Ruby and Weiss performed their combo attack, encasing Adam in ice.

Ruby: Bumblebee!

Next Yang and Blake performed their attack. Yang got launched forwards and slammed into Adam, creating an explosion. Adam was sent flying back, crashing through several walls and pillars.

Blake: Did we do it?

Just then Adam appeared through the dust. His clothes were tattered and he was grinding his teeth in anger. Then he smiled and started to laugh.

Adam: I gotta admit, your better than I thought. Not even Winter or Ironwood could beat me. Looks like I'll finally get to use this.

As Adam said this as blue flames engulfed his body the flames grew bigger until they disappeared. Everyone was terrified at what they saw.

Weiss: What is he!

Pyrrha: He's a monster!

Nora and Ren lunged at Adam. However he used his giant clubs to block them and then he punched them hard into a pillar. Everyone else opened fire however it had no effect against his armored body. Adam swung his clubs but everyone jumped out of the way. Adam swung his clubs more to try to smash them, but everyone was quicker. All Adam hit was the walls and pillars. Soon the entire building began to shake.

Maria POV

We could hear the fighting from upstairs.

Oscar: Shouldn't we be helping?

Me: Not much the two of us could do.

Oscar gained a look of defeat. Then the entire building began to shake.

Neo: What's going on?

Me: The building is collapsing, we need to get out of here?

I picked up Neo and Oscar picked up Tock. We went over to the bullhead and got in.

Oscar: What about everyone else?

Me: They'll be fine!

We then took off

As the building was collapsing everyone jumped out and Weiss used her glyphs to make sure everyone landed safely. Once they reached the ground the dust was clearing, they all stared at the destroyed building.

Ruby: You think he's dead?

Weiss: Let's hope.

Just then soldiers pulled up and pointed their guns at them.

Soldiers: You're under arrest by order of the Atlas military.

Ren: We didn't do anything!

Just then something emerged from the rubble. Standing there was Adam.

Soldier: What the hell is that, OPEN FIRE!

The soldiers opened fire upon Adam, however it had no effect. Adam opened his mouth and a large amount of blue fire spewed out. The screams of the soldiers could be heard as they were burned alive. He turned to face Team RWBY and NPR. Luckily they jumped out of the way from the flames. Adam lunged forwards and managed to hit Ruby and Ren with his clubs, defeating them. Nora fired her grenade gun at Adam, but no effect. He then spewed his flames at Nora, which hit her. He then turned around and managed to hit Pyrrha and Weiss with his fire. Leaving only Blake and Yang.

Adam:

Adam goes to spit out more fire, but is stopped as a spike stabs him from behind. A cloaked jumps forwards. This figure was Neptune, who was carrying Sun on his back.

Blake: Neptune?

Neptune turned to the two girls.

Neptune: Can you heal Sun?

Blake: What?

Neptune: Can you heal Sun?

Yang: Yes

Neptune: I'll make a deal with you, I'll take down Adam if you save Sun's life.

Yang: Deal!

Yang grabbed Sun from Neptune and then he turned to face Adam.

Adam:

Neptune: Not anymore, I was reminded of who I once was.

Adam:

Adam spat out flames at Neptune, who dodged. Neptune than began to run around Adam as he spit flame. Neptune lunged at Adam; Adam swung his club. Neptune ducked and stabbed Adam in his stomach. Adam, swung his club again but Neptune went behind Adam. He then slashed across his lower back.

Adam swung several more times, but Neptune dodged. However he didn't notice Adam's arm grab him by the throat. Adam threw Neptune into the air. As he came back down Adam swung his club, sending Neptune flying into the pile of rubble. As Neptune got up, Adam blasted him with fire' engulfing him.

Adam:

But then, Neptune leaped from the burning pile. His cloaked burned off, leaving him in jeans and a black t-shirt. The thing that stood out the most was the mask that formed on his face.

Neptune's left eye glowed red.

Neptune: I wont die, not until I repent for my crimes!

Two wings popped out of Neptune's back and fired a large amount of daggers at Adam. Adam used his clubs to block. However the daggers were cutting his armor. Neptune then charged with great speed and got past Adam's club. He then began to cover Adam's body in cuts, blood shot out from each cut. Adam tried to defend but was no much for Neptune's speed.

Adam got tired and engulfed himself in fire. Neptune jumped back, only to be met with a club smashing him into the ground. Adam tried to stomp Neptune, but Neptune jumped into the air. He did a backflip and landed on Adam's shoulder. He put Adam into a chokehold. Adam went crazy and shot flames into the sky, trying to hit Neptune.

Neptune: This is where you die.

Two tentacle like blades popped out of his back and stabbed Adam in the chest.

Neptune jumped off Adam as his armor began to fall apart. There was a bright light and when it disappeared, Adam was back to normal. Adam grabbed his sword.

Adam: You bastard!

Adam lunged at Blake, but Neptune appeared in front of him. He kicked Adam into the pile of rubble. When he got back up, he was met Neptune's blade in his chest. Adam spat out blood as he fell to the ground. When he did Neptune's mask disappeared.

Adam POV

Me(thought): I cant lose! I must win! I will defeat Atlas and show these humans we are superior! With my abilities I can win, I'll show them!

As I was thinking this a memory came to me

(flashback) 10 years

Me and Blake were sitting on rocks watching the sun set back in Menagerie. Blake then turned to me.

Blake: Hey Adam, if you had a wish, what would you wish for?

I turned to her and smiled.

Adam: I'd wish for a world where both humans and faunas live together in peace. For that is my dream. And one day I'll achieve it.

I looked down at the ground as I remembered this. That was my dream, and I was so eager to achieve it. But then I lost my eye and turned bad. I wanted nothing more than to destroy the humans. And looked where it lead me.

Me: Hey Blake, please make sure my dream comes true.

She looked me with disgust.

Blake: Adam I'll never do that. All you want is destruction and death.

Me: Not that one, the one from ten years ago. The one I had before I turned dark. Create a world where humans and faunas can coexist in peace. For that was my dream.

I took one last glance at her. She had a shocked expression and tears in her eyes.

Blake: Don't worry Adam, I'll do it.

I smile at her

Me: Thank you.

I close my eyes for the last time as my head is filled with memories of the past.
