Adam POV

I watched as my army destroyed the blockade. Once we did the ships dispersed to wreck havoc all across Atlas.

Me: Neptune this is your stop.

He looked at me and grinned.

Neptune: Playtime!

He jumped out of the bullhead and summoned his wings. Once he reached the ground he opened fire of the people. Soon the bullhead landed on a building and everyone got out. Everyone went in one direction while I went in another.

Soldier: Sir where are you going?

I turned around and grinned at him

Me: Seeing an old friend.

He turned back around and eyed a certain construction zone.

Me: I cant wait to see their faces when they realize I'm alive.

NO POV

Once the White Fang got past the blockade it was hell. Faunas came raining down from the sky and were killing citizens. The police did their best to fight back but were caught off guard. Another contributor to this was the prison riot. The military was busy trying to maintain it that they didn't detect the White Fang coming.

On the streets below, Neptune was massacring the police force with his abilities. Meanwhile Tyrian, who was also present, slaughtered anybody he came across. Currently Adam walked down an empty street. All of a sudden multiple soldiers came out of the alley, guns pointed at him.

Soldier: Stop right there scum!

Adam only grinned as he unleashed his tendril. Quickly, the soldiers were kill and Adam continued down the path.

Quill POV

I watched from the building as fires erupted from buildings. I could hear explosions, screams, and gunshots in the distance. I heard someone approach me and turned around and saw Maria.

Maria: Place is going to hell.

Me: You got that right.

Maria: What are you going to do about it?

Me: Fight back.

I turned around and walked back down to where everyone was. They were all listening to the radio as it talked about the attack. When I got closer everyone turned to face me.

Me: Listen up, Atlas is under attack and people are dying. The military isn't doing a damn thing so I say we do.

Nora got up and lifted her hammer.

Nora: Let's do this!

Me: Sorry but you have to stay here. The only people who can come are Jade, Aaron, Tock, and Roman.

Yang: You expect us to sit around and do nothing.

Me: You need to save your energy for the real fight.

Everyone looked confused.

Ruby: What real fight?

Me: This isn't the attack that will wipeout Atlas. The real one will be lead by Salem, not by the White Fang. When it does happen, you all need to be ready.

It looked like everyone agreed to this.

Me: Alright; Aaron, Jade, Roman, Tock, lets go.

The four of them got up and headed towards the battle field.

NO POV

The battled raged on in the city. The police were pinned down behind some cars as the White Fang unleashed a relentless attack.

Police: Sir what are we going to do?

Chief: We'll have to hold out until the military arrives!

Police: We'll be dead by then!

Just then, two figures leaped down from a nearby roof and landed on one of the cars. Everyone's eyes widened at the two figures.

Police: It's the Black Dog and Devil Ape!

Police2: We're so screwed!

Police3: How did they get into Atlas!

Just then Jade and Aaron charged at the White Fang. Jade fired daggers which impaled some of them and then created blades on her forearms. She then quickly slashed the other soldiers. Meanwhile Aaron enlarged his tail and slammed it into the White Fang, Sending them flying. Other soldiers opened fire, but Aaron whipped his tail around and blocked the bullets. He then smacked the them with his tail. When all of the soldiers were defeated, the ran off; leaving the police dumfound.

Chief: Two of Remnant's most wanted criminals just saved us.

Elsewhere a group of civilians were running away from a group of faunas using missiles to attack. Explosions happened all around them. Eventually the civilians were trapped by the falling debris. When the smoked clear the White Fang were pointing their weapons at the civilians. They screamed as the White Fang launched their weapons. They closed their eyes, ready for death, but it never came. When the dust cleared, the infamous Naga was there with his giant weapon.

Roman: Get out of here.

The civilians fled as the White Fang fired again. Roman had his weapon whip around and block all of the attacks. Then he made his weapon lunge at the soldiers, which slashed all of them.

Roman: I thought this would be harder.

Meanwhile Quill also helped. She managed to rescue a group of people who were captured by the White Fang. She used her bird form to slip past them and then catch them off guard. Quickly taking them all down. Also Tock ran down the streets, using her semblance to quickly down any faunas she came across.

Luckily these 5 weren't the only people fighting back. Coco kept the White Fang at bay with her massive gun while her teammates escorted the civilians to safety. Also Atlas had just deployed their sentinels to fight.

Neptune POV

I was fighting a group of police. I used my wings to kill off most of them. Then I charged forwards and disposed the others with my blade. I thought I was down until I felt a blade pierce my chest. I turned around and saw a soldier standing there.

Me: That's not very nice.

I took out the blade and he gained a scared expression. He turned to run away but I grabbed him. I then grabbed his neck and ripped his head off. I drank the blood from his severed head until someone kicked me back. I got up and saw my old friend Sun standing there. I gave a sinister smile.

Me: Hey old pal.

Sun: Neptune, you gotta stop this! Innocent people are dying!

Me: Oh Sun, there are no innocent people in this world.

I charged at Sun with my blade, but he blocked it with his staff. I swung several times but he twirled around his staff and blocked each attack. I leaped back and fired daggers, he spun his staff around and blocked them all. I charged at him again but he turned his staff into his pistols and fired at me. I blocked them with my blade but that gave him time to summon his clones. His clones punched me multiple times so I slashed them all.

Sun charged at me and punched me right in the face. He then kicked me in the gut and went to kick me in the head. However I grabbed his foot and threw him into a wall. I then grabbed his head a repeatedly slammed him into the wall. Making his head bleed. I then grabbed him by the neck and lifted him into the air.

Sun: Pleas stop Neptune, why are you doing this?

Me: You wanna why? You know what happened to me while I was gone for those 2 years? I was being tortured, used as an experiment! Sliced open over and over again! Everyday I prayed that someone would save but that never happened! The only way I survived was succumbing to the insanity!

Sun: I'm sorry.

Me: Bullshit! You're an idiot you that? Why do you want to save me?

Sun: Because you're my friend. The only friend I have left.

I was taken back by his words. Suddenly I was shot multiple times in the back. I turned around and saw a group of soldiers. I charged at them but one soldier with a large sword slashed across my chest. Then another soldier with a regular sword stabbed me in the side. Finally someone with a shotgun shot me in the stomach three times. I fell to the ground as blood shot out.

Soldier: This is your end.

The soldier with the big gun ran at me. I closed my eyes, ready for death. But it never came. I opened my eyes and saw Sun standing in front of me, blocking me from the attack. Blood came out of his mouth.

Sun: Neptune.....stop being a nerd.

He passed out and fall, but I caught him. Memories came flooding back as I stared at his unconscious body. While the soldiers were distracted, I jumped onto a roof top and ran away.

Me: Sun...please stay with me.

Yin POV

I dragged my body as I had to lean against the wall to support me. A trail was smeared against the wall as I walked along. Memories of that night in Vale from two years ago came bac to me. Finally my body gave out and I fell to the ground.

Me: Dammit...I cant go out like this. Not after everything that's happened to me. I gotta stay alive.
