NO POV

Soldiers circled around Anteiku, waiting for something to happen. All of a sudden the lights began to flicker. Footsteps could be heard coming down the steps. As the lights continued to flicker, the outline of two figures could be seen. When the lights stopped flickering two people could be seen. One was wearing a white winter coat and a red mask that resembled a gorilla. The other one wore a black trench coat and a black dog mask. These are the Devil Ape and Black Dober. Also known as Aaron and Jade.

Soldier1: Shit Ironwood was right, Devil Ape and Black Dober are here.

The soldiers just stared at the two figures, shaking in fear. Waiting for them to make a move.

Aaron+Jade: Welcome to Anteiku.

Soldier2: Open fire!

The soldiers opened fire as Aaron and Jade dodged. Aaron leaped into the air, when he landing he kicked nearby soldiers knocking them out. Jade dashed at the soldiers, creating knives to slash at them. They regrouped and went to attack the next group of soldiers. Aaron punched the soldiers while Jade cut them. They jumped on top of a building. They leaped from roof to roof, Jade throwing knives while Aaron threw homemade bombs. When the smoke cleared they saw two different groups.

Aaron: Divide and conquer?

Jade: You know it.

Aaron: Try not to die out there puppy.

Jade: You to banana brain.

They then went off in separate directions.

Aaron jumped towards the ground and rushed at the soldiers. They fired at him but he was quicker as he punched and kicked them all. He leaped down under on overpass and fought more soldiers there. He saw a flash of light and turned his head to see an asteroid heading right for him. Luckily he managed to dodge it at the last second. When the smoke cleared Aaron saw a figure standing there. The man had tanned skin, grey hair and beard, was wearing a white shirt with brown vest, and had a lion tail. This man was Professor Lionheart of Haven academy. Lionheart took a deep inhale.

Lionheart: Go back to your mountain *exhales* you damn ape.

Aaron: Don't you know, this is my mountain.

Lionheart took out his weapon which was a shield. The shield started to spin and an asteroid was formed as it was fired at Aaron. Aaron dodged out of the way as more asteroids were sent right at him. Aaron ran towards Lionheart only to have get back from more incoming asteroids. Aaron activated his semblance as his tail grew larger. He used his enlarged tail to destroy an incoming asteroid and hit Lionheart right in the stomach. Lionheart get sent back and Aaron went for another attack. Lionheart blocked the tail swings with his shield. He then charged his shield with electricity and when Aaron went to attack again, his tail got shocked. Lionheart then hit Aaron with an asteroid causing him to fall back. Aaron quickly got up as multiple beams of energy were fired at him. Aaron used his tail to jump from pillar to pillar to hide himself from Lionheart. Lionheart slowly walked around, firing an asteroid at a pillar he thought Aaron was hiding behind.

Lionheart: Come out, little monkey.

Aaron jumped from his hiding spot with speed that caught Lionheart by surprise. He swung his tail with such force that when Lionheart went to block, his shield shattered. Aaron went to punch him square in the face, however he didn't know that Lionheart had one vial of dust left. Lionheart slammed his shield into Aaron's stomach and blasted him, causing a hole to go right through him. Aaron fell down to the ground and his mask fell off. His aura was depleted as he sat there in a pool of his own blood. Lionheart approached him.

Lionheart: You know, you would have won this fight if you hadn't let your guard down in the end. But overall, you're a good fighter.

Aaron: Well, I aim to please.

Lionheart pulled a knife out of his pocket and was going to stab Aaron. But then Lionheart got kicked back by an unknown force. This person was wearing an Atlas military uniform but wearing a completely white mask. The unknown person picked up Aaron and took him away.

( meanwhile with Jade )

Jade was leaping from building to building, throwing knives at any soldier below. All of a sudden she got shot in the shoulder causing her to fall to the ground. When she got up, Team CFVY was standing there.

Coco: Give up now Black Dober, we're here to take you to the pound.

Jade : Bow wow.

Jade charged at Team CFVY, Coco fired her gun causing Jade to retreat. Jade ran as CFVY was close behind. She ended up in an open plaza, CFVY showed up soon later. Coco shot at Jade again, so Jade threw daggers at her leg. Coco dropped her gun and Jade charged kicking Coco square in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. Yatsuhashi and Fox swung at her, so Jade sprouted two blades from her back. This blocked the attack and kicked them in the face as well. Jade felt something cut across her lower back. She turned to see Velvet with a rapier. Velvet and Jade began slashing at each other. Yatsuhashi came from behind and smashed his sword into the ground, causing a shockwave knocking Jade back. Fox charged at her but Jade blocked. Coco fired her gun again so Jade run up a building. She sat on a balcony catching her breath until an old lady came out.

Old Lady: Hey, what's going on out here?

Jade turned her head and the old lady saw her mask.

Old Lady: You're the Black Dober, please don't hurt me.

Coco fired her gun at Jade. Jade jumped in front of the old lady to protect her. Unfortunately for Jade, she got shot multiple times her in back. Jade fell towards the ground. Her mask fell off.

Jade(thought): Damn, they would really risk the life of someone else to take me down. Is this how I go down? Nah, screw that! I've come to far!

Before she could hit the ground she jumped around and landed on all fours. She extended out her claws and had blades sprout out all around her body as she growled. She ran and threw daggers at all of them. They managed to block, however Jade cut across Velvet's stomach and cut Yatsuhashi's shoulder. She than ran at Fox and punched him right in the face. Coco fired and hit Jade in her left shoulder but Jade cut Coco's face. Yatsuhashi tried to hit Jade, but she used Coco's gun to block. She then kicked him right in the face. Jade felt something stab her in the back and turned around to see Velvet with 6 floating daggers. She changed the daggers into a scythe as she and Jade charged at each other. Jade scratched Velvet's side causing her to fall to the ground. However Velvet cut Jade's right arm. Coco fired her gun as Jade ran on all fours. She ran onto the roof of a building. Jade threw daggers which hit the barrels of Coco's gun causing it to stop firing. Jade leaped off from the roof, ready to finish off Coco. However before she could reach Coco, Yatsuhashi came from behind and slashed at Jade's left side. Jade did a handstand and landed on all four. She did a series of twirls in which her blades hit Yatsuhashi's sword causing him to drop it. Jade cut his other shoulder making him fall. She then charged at Fox and Velvet. Velvet make a replica of Coco's gun and fired at Jade, which hit her head on. Fox than came running in and sliced Jade at her right side. Jade spat up blood and finally fell down to the ground. The members of Team CFVY surrounded her.

Coco: Damn I got to admit, this girl can fight.

Yatsuhashi: It makes sense since her rating is so high.

Fox: Unfortunately this battle is over.

Out of no where a smoke bomb hit the ground. Covering the surrounding area in smoke. A figurer picked up Jade and carried her away. The next thing Jade knew was that she was being placed down in an alleyway. Directly across from her was Aaron who was just as messed up as her. Jade turned to the unidentified figure.

Jade: Who are you?

???: You'll find out, it's only a matter of time.

The figure left, leaving only Jade and Aaron

Aaron: Damn, you look like crap.

Jade: Coming from the one with a hole in his abdomen.

Aaron: Ha, ha, ha. Crazy how we almost died tonight.

Jade: Ya, so who did you go up against.

Aaron: I had Haven academy 's headmaster

Jade: I had all of Team CFVY

Aaron: If they brought in people like these, I'm worried for Yin.

Jade: Me to

( scene change )

Back at the operations main base. There stood multiple vehicles as well as soldiers waiting for something to happen. All of the sudden a cloud of dust covered the area. When the dust cleared a figure in a cloak was standing there. That figure was Yin Branwen, or to everyone else the One Eyed Owl.

Ironwood: There you are

Yin turned his head to reveal his two red and black eyes. All the soldiers raised there weapons.

Yin: To take from someone else, is to be evil. From the moment we are born, we practice this art. Perfecting the sin we have inherited. That's what life is a continuous actions of sins. *as he talked his mask was covering his face and his spikes were coming out* It is life itself that draws us into the darkness. I have excepted my fate, I know that I'm evil. As is each and everyone of you. Now, lets pay for our sins, shall we.

All the soldiers started to shake in their boots at the figure that stood before them.
