Part 7 –

"Bowers.... is in my room." He said, the blood pouring out his mouth

"Bowers? How?" I frowned "Also what's all this stuff over you?" I asked seeing all this black gunk down his top, my fingers still pinching his wound shut

"Long story, I guess I also had a nightmare with Pennywise today. The leper was back but this time he was after you." he said

"Me? why me?"

"Cause that's what I fear the most." He said, his voice was low

Before I could even respond to him Ben came back out with a towel

"Put this on it, add the pressure it will stop the bleeding." Ben said

"Thank you." I smiled and placed it on eddies face

"How are you Eddie?" Beverly said and joined us on the steps

He nodded, trying his best to smile

"Come on we got to go, Mike is expecting us." Ben said, looking at Beverly

"We will meet you there, I'm just going to patch him up "I Said

Beverly nodded giving us a smile before joining ben downstairs and heading to the library.

"You don't need to." Eddie mumbled

"Don't be silly, you're hurt. I'm not going to leave you." I said

He nodded "Hold this I have a little med kit in my bag."

I ran back into my room getting the little red box, that I just knew I'd need at some point

I quickly came back and joined Eddie back on the stairs

"You're not having much luck on this trip, are you?" I joked

He shook his head, I grabbed the wipe and cleaned the wound

"This might sting a little." I said

He winced and grabbed my hand quickly

"S-sorry." he said, removing it immediately

"It's fine, I'm going to put this over it to just protect it for the time being, but I will need to clean it up again later." I said and taped the bit of tissue to his face to keep it from bleeding more

"Thank you y/n." He said

I nodded "it's okay, how was he in your room?"

He shrugged "I don't know. But he's as crazy as ever." He said

"Come on we better catch up with the others, we can't lose another person." I said

"Lose another person?"

I nodded, helping him back to his feet "Richie ran for it apparently, and Bill... hes gone to save that cute kid from the Chinese. Apparently pennywise left him a message im not sure."

"Really? We need to find the others."

"I know come on" I said, and we headed out of the hotel towards the library

"Do you get the feeling Beverly and Ben have something going on?" I asked

He shrugged "He has been in love with her for like 30 years." He said

I nodded "I guess you never forget your first love."

Eddie just looked at me, the tension thick in the air.

I cleared my throat, cutting the tension

"So, how's New York?" I asked

"Yeha its good, bit hectic on the roads. But its good." He smiled

After a 10-minute walk we could finally see the Library ahead

"You think we can do it?" Eddie asked

"Do what?"

"Survive this again?" he mumbled

I nodded "Yeah, if we stick together, I think we can."

Before he could say anything else, we heard a scream coming from inside the library

"Shit!" I said

We both ran into the library as fast as possible and stopped when we saw what was going on

"W-what happened?!" I asked, a man face down on the floor clearly dead whilst mike was sat next to him

"Henry bowers." Mike said

"Are you alright?' Ben asked Richie

"No, I'm not alright! I just fucking killed a guy." Richie said, pointing to Henry Bowers

"I was talking to Mike..." Ben said

Mike was lay on the floor, glass all over the place

"Hey you okay?" I asked and crouched down to his level

He nodded, trying to lift his arm which had a massive cut on it

"Come on let's get you sorted." I said

"Med kit is under the desk." He said, I nodded and grabbed the med kit

I cleaned up his wound and wrapped a bandage around it

"That should do you for now Mike, ill redo it when all this mess is over." I said

He nodded and thanked me "Where's Bill?"

I looked over to Beverly and Ben to see if they had any answers but nothing

"I'll call him." I said and grabbed my phone.

"Bill? Hey, we are all at the library where you at?" I asked

"H-he killed a kid, right in f-fucking front of me." He said

My heart dropped, instantly knowing that Billy was probably blaming himself for this kid's death.

"Okay Bill, listen to me. Calm down just come here and we can all come up with a plan okay?" I asked

"No. I'm gonna kill it. I-I don't want any of you to get killed with me." He said, his pace sounded like he started to run

"Bill don't you dare! Listen to me Bill, you are my best friend, we've lost Stan I'm not losing you too!" I said

"I'm sorry y/n." he said, and the line went dead

"Fuck!" I sighed, running my hands through my hair

"What is it?" Eddie asked

"He's gone. he's gone to kill it." I mumbled

I felt Eddie tense up next to me

"Alone? The ritual doesn't work without the group. Being together is why it worked." Mike said

"Did he tell you where he was going?" Ben asked me

I shook my head "No, he just said he was going to kill it."

"If he really wanted to kill pennywise there's only really one place he'll go." Beverly said

I looked up at Eddie, fear clear in his eyes. In all ur eyes. We all knew what this meant, we knew where bill went and none of us wanted to admit it.

The moment we all dreaded had finally come.
