I was invited for another interview with Chris Van Vliet and I was looking forward to it, but the thing is, I couldn't drive to where he is, so I offered the address to my apartment and he was all for it.

When he arrived, he and his crew set up the camera and wired microphones instead of the hand held ones. It was a good idea because with the hand held one, I don't want to hold them since my knee can't take weight for now.

Once we got started, Masami was offscreen behind the cameramen and had her head on her hands, looking at me with hearts in her eyes. The camera was rolling and I had to start.

What are you staring at?

You because you're handsome.

I laughed a bit while Chris just laughing.

I heard about your injury and I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying you get better.

Thanks bro. I appreciate that. I mean, if Santos, you know, tried to end my career, I'd be bawling my eyes out because I love this sport and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

I like how humble you are when you're a heel right now in NXT.

I'm always humble because unlike those comments about me, I'm a gentleman. I keep my hands off of women unless give me permission. That's just me, you know. The heel persona, I always felt comfortable with that because I feel like I have a connection with the audience through that. I started heel when I was hitting the ropes and I thought starting as a heel would work and it did.

I have to ask, what the greatest moment as a heel for you?

That was something I wanted to talk about. This was when I was signed to an Indie promotion and I was cutting a promo. The camera was focusing on the crowd more than me and I knew I had to improvise and this was the perfect moment for me to create a moment that an asshole heel might do. The camera was panning away from me before I said, "You better keep this camera on me, because that would help me forget that I'm in Missouri."

Chris had his mouth open like shocked and he was on the verge of laughing.

When I said that, everyone in the crowd booed the shit out of me, throwing trash in the ring, one of them threw a large AA battery to my balls! It hurt so bad that I didn't want to break character, so I still stood in the ring and kept on with the promo and I thought while talking, "There goes my sperm. It's dead. I can't make any babies with a girl in the future."

Chris was laughing out loud while Masami walked off before screaming with laughter! It was too funny for me and I laughed myself.

My God! We're you able to keep going with that promo?

Absolutely man. I mean, I gotta sell the persona or the fans would think I'm not a good wrestler.

Were you okay with being a babyface in your career?

Sometimes. The only times I ever turned face was when I beaten up Evil, Masami's ex-fiancé and when I returned to NXT with my girlfriend and Kaori. It was special, you know? Once I saw that someone in the crowd at Full Sail started giving us the thumbs down, I knew we had to turn heel soon. It was a perfect time of circumstances because I wanted to turn heel because that's where I felt the most comfortable and Masami and Kaori, they were heels when they were in Lucha Underground with Mayu Iwatani.

I heard about that stint and I thought it was very interesting. How is Kaori? Is she okay?

Yeah, she's just taking some time due to her personal life. That's it and I don't want to get into it that much because it's none of my business, even though she's like a sister I never had.

I also wanted to ask about how this injury happened, because I saw the footage and I never knew what happened. I don't want to upset you if you're starting to be.

No, man. It's fine. I was in a cage match with Escobar and when he was setting me up or a Superplex off the top rope and I decided to flip and try to do a Sunset Powerbomb. The thing is I was supposed to land on both feet, but I didn't because I landed awkwardly on this knee and I felt a pop. It was and still is the most painful thing I've ever experienced and this is my first legitimate injury I've had in this sport. Santos tried to end my career by trapping me in a Heel Hook. The ref called off the match and before Masami could try to come to me, Santos gave her a superkick to her mouth and it made me so angry while it made me feel sick to my stomach.

Oh my God.

When I saw her mouth, I was so upset she had a busted lip and, I wish I was making this up but I'm not, I saw that Masami was missing a fuckin' tooth.

Masami came back in from all the laughing and she had her scar from that kick. When she heard me starting to share that story, she started tearing up because that was the most horrible experience, next to getting a beating from Evil.

Is it okay if she sits next to me, just so she doesn't be alone back there?

Yeah, let her come in.

Someone set up a chair for her and set it up next to me as she sat down, and laid her head on my shoulder, trying to hold her tears back.

When I saw she was missing a tooth, I felt like I wanted to break his neck and make him have a matching busted lip and missing tooth.

She started purring and it was so cute, but I wanted to make sure that she matters more than me.

I promise you, when this knee gets better, I'm gonna kick his ass. I'm not gonna forget what he did because Santos is gonna get what's coming to him.

Masami had a tear coming from her eye and I held her tightly. Chris offered a water bottle and she accepted it immediately and drank it down.

You want me to end this, Masami?

No, go on. I can take it.

No problem, Carlo. Anyway, will you get the title back?

Absolutely. I made a promise to myself that once my knee is better, I'm going after him and I'm taking back what's mine.

Once the interview was done and they left, Masami was just letting it all out as I held her in my arms. She wouldn't stop sobbing and I kept holding her.

In short, we spent all day holding each other, and to be honest, I didn't mind that.

I had to post a selfie of us and when it took the picture of Masami's red eyes with tears stains, it was perfect to to tweet:

"You see what you've done, Santos? Since you kicked Masami in the mouth, she's been missing a tooth and you scarred her for life. I really hope that I get better soon so I can kick your ass and make you feel the pain that she went through."

So many fans were outraged at Santos and actually supported what I said. They felt so horrible for Masami that they definitely want to see me break his face when I return, but I got to focus on my knee first before anything else.
