Still at the hospital, I awaited surgery. I never had an major injury before. Sure I had a finger or my hand broken, but nothing like this. This was my first legitimate injury I've had in the sport of pro wrestling. I was scared, and I didn't know what to expect.

When the doctors told me that the success of this surgery was 99 out of 100, I was pretty sure I could get back in the ring in no time, but knowing that this was a serious thing, I gave myself 50/50 because I learned that this is an injury that ended careers.

Look at Tegan Nox. She has had a series of moments with this injury and she's still wrestling. I don't know how she can keep up with this because to me, she's like if you've given Captain Marvel Mr. Glass' backstory, but instead of the entire body, it's the knees.

It sounds funny, but when you think about it, it's actually true because Nox has knees that can give out at any moment and it's not even funny. Believe it or not, Tegan's actually a friend of mine and when I asked her if she could come by the hospital and check on me, she said she would be here in a couple days from her house in Wales.

Once it was morning, they had to perform the surgery. Masami came with me on the way to the operating room as she was nervous about what would happen.

I really hope this surgery's successful.

Me too. This usually ends careers and I have a lot more years left in me.

I kissed her as she returned it before we released after 5 seconds.

I went in the operating room as I let go of her hand and waved as she waved too with a tear in her eye. If she was going to bawl her eyes out, I don't blame her at all.

~With Masami~

Well, Carlo's in surgery and I wanted to watch it go down, but I thought it was for the best to not watch the surgery because I get sick while looking at blood and surgery and whatnot.

I went home and decided to lay down with a cat I adopted.

I call her "Browny" because of the color of her fur and how adorable she is. I decided to take a picture of us and post it.

It got a ton of awws and love from the fans as I waiting for Carlo to be out of surgery. It really pained me to know that he can't be here because of his knee surgery and I couldn't be comforted by him right now.

~90 Minutes Later~

I was called back to the hospital to see Carlo and the result of the surgery. When I walked in, he was so happy to see me as I was to see him.

I hugged and kissed him, which was the first thing I wanted to do when he got out of surgery.

I missed you.

I missed you too.

So the surgery went well Carlo. Your ACL's back in place, but work with ice to reduce the swelling for now.

Sounds good doc.

Okay.

We're gonna set you up a rehabilitation plan for your knee so keep in mind that this is a serious injury.

Will do.

We heard a knock and it was a girl, who looked familiar, but I don't know her name.

Carlo! How are you lad!

They hugged as I got a bit confused. Is he cheating on me?

I saw that Masami was getting a bit jealous, so I had to introduce her to my friend from the UK.

Masami, this is one of my best friends since PROGRESS Wrestling in England, Steffanie Newelle. Steffanie, this is my girlfriend, Masami Odate, or Io Shirai from Japan and Kallisto in NXT right now.

They shook hands as Masami kept a smile on her face and obliged.

I hope you don't mind me being here a little late, the cab was just off its rocker.

It was successful, but I gotta keep the ice on and keep the swelling down.

I was shocked as I had to shut up and listen.

Hey kid! Carlo! I saw what happened on NXT last night and I can't imagine what you're going through right now. It reminded me of the time I had my knee injury and I gotta tell you, it wasn't pretty, but I pushed through, and I promise you will too. I'll be rooting for you kid! Hope you get back in the ring sooner or later!

After the video ended, I was tearing up and on the edge of crying. Masami hugged me after she noticed and kissed my cheek as I had to return it.

You're not alone Carlo, and I can guarantee you will get through this.

Steff put her hand on my shoulder and rubbed it as I was still loving the support I got from one of my idols in wrestling: Bret Hart.

Once Steffanie left, I had to rest and try to keep the swelling down as I was discharged from the hospital in a wheelchair.

As we got home, I laid on the couch with ice on and under my knee. It was no fun to be home with an injury that could possibly end my wrestling career, but Masami being the best girlfriend I could possibly have, she just made it a little brighter.

She ordered a couple of salads and some diet soda while to go with it.

She put on Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone and watched a marathon until it was nighttime.

I seriously can't thank enough Masami, Kaori, Santana, Ortiz, Mayu, Hunter, and the fans for the love and support that I never thought I'd have.

I mean, God forbid I should make a mistake and forget to say "thank you".

Meanwhile, I was looking forward to trying to get this knee better so I can try to get back the title I never lost, but I was given a call from Hunter about something that made me accept immediately.
