The lights dim as Hunter hits a button and he plops down beside me in a seat. He leans back and taps a button and the lights in the theater below us go off. Miranda stands from her seat and waves happily at us.
I smile and wave back. She sticks her tongue out and makes kissy faces. She sits down and Hunter taps the play button and the light displays on the big movie screen. The movie me and Miranda had been dying to see. Was playing.
An hour of the movie had rolled past. Thoughts rolled through my mind as I watched the movie. Was this home? Is this the zombie apocalypse is really like...? Is this just a forever dream? Where were my mother and sister? Would I ever see them again?
I sigh and move my hand and it touches Hunter's. I look over at him and grabs my hand softly. His eyes look at me in the corner of his eyes.
He looks back at the movie, watching. "I can't believe we've survived. I can't believe Bella is in our group." He says, breaking the silence in the room we were in., Well, we could hear the movie, but the others couldn't hear us.
"Me either... I remember..." I start to say.
"When the lunch lady tried to kill us," I say.
He chuckles.
"Yea." He whispers.
And you won't believe what happened. The chaos came, breaking our peace, I heard a loud gunshot from the auditorium below us.
He leaned back and grabbed my hand. We both stood and ran. What the? I thought. What was going on?!
"Oh my God!" Olivia screams.
"Oh no... Oh, no. This can't be!" Olivia says once we reach them.
I and Hunter look at each other. Bella was holding her bleeding arm, and a dead zombie was lying in the chair beside her.

She was panicking, her big brown eyes scanning us.
"Did it bite her?!" I ask.
"Yes!" Miranda shouts.
"Let's back to the Walmart!" I say and Kyle grabs Bella. We run through the back doors, hearing the zombies that were now all of a sudden chasing us. We made it through though, I stayed back and waited until everyone was out and I shut the door as best as I could, while zombies pummeled at the door.
Letting out a loud groan as I struggled to keep the door open, it swung open. I flew backward and zombies staggered in.
One grabbed my foot and I kicked its stupid face. "Stop!!" I blurted, even though the dumb zombie couldn't hear me. I scream as it grabs my ankle, throwing itself on top of me.
My gun flew over my head.
Was anyone gonna save me?! More zombies gathered around me. Suddenly gunshots sounded and I was lifted by hand. Kylia. Her big blue eyes were tired, and scared. We both ran and made it to the Walmart door. We quickly shut it, and the guys were already moving a shelf in front of it.
I sigh, and we race to Bella. She was lying on the floor, Kyle over her, with a bottle of medicine, wipes and other stuff.
She had her eyes closed tightly as he cleansed the bite. Olivia was sobbing, her eyes bleached with tears. First question... Would Bella.. die?
No. She would be fine. Bella would be fine. I told myself. Kylia grabbed my hand. "Someone's here." She quickly said.
"Who?" I whisper surprised.
"They're nice. I think they can help Bella." She says, looking at Bella who had her eyes cringed and closed.
"S-show me," I say.
"Okay." She says.
Too much was happening. What was happening? Shut up Lara.. I told myself and followed Kylia.

I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room
The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed!
