"Okay..." Miranda says from behind me.
"Wake everyone up-"
Janitor Brown is interrupted by a gunshot and some yells. Bella shoots up from the bed, waking Kylia and Olivia. Olivia groans and grabs her shotgun, her eyes look towards us.
"What's going on..?" She asks, her voice cracking to life.
"Get up!" Lucy yells at them.
Once they are up, they slip on their shoes, the boys fill the room and we grab all our belongings.
Janitor Brown was leading us down the pink hallway when a gunshot was heard from the emergency steps we were about to go down.
The intruders were coming up the steps. A couple of zombies were looming in, from rooms we didn't even go in last night.
He lifts a wait finger and turns on his heels. Leading us down the left hall. Right to the elevator... My first thought was.. Wouldn't this thing be broken?
Okay never mind... I think as I see running zombies. We all fill the elevator, and Lucy shoved her machete aside and pulled her pistol and quickly shoots the first few zombies before the elevator doors shut.
"Why'd you do that?!" Ricko yells at her.
"So those bozos will think the zombies got us. They'll think we're on this floor, and then see the group of walkers, and assume we're dead.." Lucy explains.
Good thinking.
"You're smart!" Bella whispers, panting from all the running she did.
Janitor Brown punched in floor 1. His eyes went to us.
"We'll be okay. The elevator is working fine." He says, turning his back to us and looking at the buttons on the elevator.
"Who were they?" I ask.
"They were wearing masks. They had a load of guns. When I looked out my room window, I saw a white van being unloaded." Lucy says, "One was already searching this floor.." She mumbles annoyed.

"And what'd you do?" Kyle asks.
"What I had to." She says.
"You killed him?!" Kylia yells.
"He pulled a gun!" Lucy yells.
"So!!" Ricko joins.
"He was sneaking up on me!" Lucy says, her voice at a low volume. Everyone was yelling except her.
"Great. Now we got uh' mafia after us!" Ricko explains.
"Shut up! I bet you would rather watch one of us get shot before deciding that the douche bag was gonna kill us anyway!" Lucy retorts.
"Everyone shut up!" Janitor Brown yells, his face annoyed with our immature fussing. Everyone is quiet and Lucy scowled at the Janitor behind his back.
Everyone was quiet, and the sound Elevator music played. It just made me more nervous as the elevator went past floors.
The black screen at the top of the doors had a 3 on it. We just passed floor three.
"Everyone. Be ready.." Janitor says as it clinks to 2.
"Ok.." Bella whispers.
The doors open slowly. We were in the lobby now. I heard a gunshot from above us.
"Let's go," Brown says.
We all followed him. We quickly left out the hotel doors, and to the bus. I noticed the white van parked far across. Sprayed on the back was an R sprayed in green.
Then the car of the van opened a boot covered leg popped out on the parking lot ground. We all quickly got on the bus. Once we were on, Janitor Brown started driving quickly, and he stopped the bus right in front of a person that had run in front of the bus.
Janitor brown was quick enough to hit the brakes so we wouldn't hit them. I stood and looked at the front bus window.

They were standing stubbornly, in front of the bus. They were wearing a doll face mask and had a braid on their shoulder. It was a girl, I could tell from the person's body.
"Who is that?" Kylia asks.
"She won't move.." Janitor brown explains.
"Run her over!" Lucy yells.
The masked girl raises an armed hand with a gun in it. She was gonna shoot Janitor Brown through the bus window.
Lucy quickly grabs the steering wheel, and whips it, the bus swirls toward the girl, and I knew we had run over her once the bus was moving normally.
Lucy leaned back in back in her seat and let Janitor Brown have the steering wheel. She had killed two people. I was starting to get afraid.
Janitor Brown was now on the road again. I shrieked as a bullet hit the window. My head whipped to the hotel. I stared at the mask mafia, which was shooting the bus windows from the entrance of the hotel.
They stood with their legs shoulder width apart as they shot the bus, one had two pistols in both hands.
I also saw the body of the girl, lying there, the one we ran over.. Someone was checking to see if she was alive as we drove away.
The person that was checking her for life, stood and shot the bus window five times.
"Everyone dunk!" Janitor Brown mumbles.
Once we were miles away from the bus, I straightened in the seat and sighed... I looked at Janitor brown from my seat. He was holding his shoulder, a blood spot was in his blue uniform.
"Are you okay..?" I ask him.
"Yea. Just kinda got a little scratch.." He says assuring me. "Is a bullet?" I ask.
"Uh... No.. But I'll be fine." He assured again.
I sunk into my seat and stared at the seat in front of me. Hunter was beside me, his eyes scanning the window.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yea I'm fine..." He says staring at me with shy eyes.
"Maybe we'll be able to find your sister again," I assure.
"And your sister too." He replied.
"Yea.," I whisper.
"We can both look for them." He says. I nod agreeing. Finally, I calmed down.
Just to scream again.
The bus flipped from an unknown force. I heard the screams of my group. My head jerked forward and I screamed.
Everything was blank for a moment, my vision faded into darkness.

The Children of the Divine Limit
A realistic, psychological isekai: What pushes people to rejoice, to torture, to sacrifice, to kill? What gives some the will to survive and thrive in a new land and others the craving for dominance and exploitation? What would those who grew up without power all their lives do when given the approval and blessings of God Himself? How far will someone go to protect those close to them? How far will someone go to exact vengeance against an unjust world? How far can someone go before the abyss looks back at them? "Everything in the world is about sex — except sex. Sex is about power." - Oscar Wilde “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” - Abraham Lincoln Greed is the worst of all the deadly sins; all of human history lays out the evidence to support this thesis. Consider all of the above before reading this story: A 12th-grade high school class is sent to another world; a world of sword and magic called Omicron where other-worlders are revered as heroes given the divine blessing of the Lord God Sapiora, creator of Omicron's human race. It is currently a world at war. The humans of Omicron need these divine heroes as weapons against the Demon Emperor and the demihuman forces of the evil god Azazelin. However, two students within the class, Ajax Leonid and Shaula Seikennith, haven't been given the hero's blessing. They've been given something else, something more curious; the blood of a deity who noticed their specialness. As a result, after escaping the clutches of their summoners who tried to kill them for their lack of heroic potential, Ajax and Shaula enter the new world of Omicron with no one on their side except each other. While wading through rivers of blood, Ajax and Shaula seek a stable life, a life where they can salvage happiness. They have each other above all else. Perhaps the cost will be worth it. Perhaps not.

Between Worlds
(This is a reupload of Sexy Space Babes, as it's easier for me to reupload the series in a new format rather than go back and re-insert the old chapters that were taken down while the first book was on Kindle Unlimited.) Jason had thought about punching a Shil’vati. Who hadn’t? Not only had the aliens conquered Earth with almost trivial ease, the seven-foot purple amazons also had the audacity to start running the planet better than Humanity ever had. He'd never do it though. He was a reasonable guy, just trying to get by under his new feminine overlords. Wasn't he?

Author's note: You are reading a first draft, written mostly while drinking cheap whiskey. Expect it to read like hot garbage and I guarantee that it’ll meet your expectations. I’m a storyteller, not a writer - there’s a huge difference between the two professions. IMPORTANT! This story is told in a first-person limited, conversational style, with Emmett occasionally breaking the 4th wall and addressing the reader directly. This means that YOU and Emmett may have absolutely no idea why stuff is happening, because there will be little or no exposition or other POV's. Read the comments for spoilers, ask questions if you want to know something. This work incorporates blended aspects of Xianxia, Wuxia, Super powers, and Western Magic into a post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure. It is none of those things and all those things, mashed together. The MC is Over Powered, but so are many, many others. He just hasn't met them yet. Dear Student, What follows is an adaption of the diary of Emmett Carter before his Ascension. While the decades during and after the Aurora Apocalypse are lost to us, the Ascended himself has allowed us to publish this work so long as we warn the reader that it may not be entirely accurate or present an unbiased viewpoint of the events. One should also note that the Aurora was in flux during that time and some things that were possible in the early days are no longer possible, especially with the advent of the Akashic record. Editors have included footnotes when possible to explain pre-aurora technologies or concepts and how they relate to current magical technologies. The contents of this work may upset readers. If you’ve ever been in a natural disaster, had a house fire, witnessed a murder, lost a loved one to violence, or have a strong opinion on the sanctity of life, please do not read this. It contains dramatic scenes of a world in the throes of an apocalyptic event. There are no rainbows and unicorns, only loss, uncertainty, and death while the survivors struggle to rebuild their lives. Updates Thursdays and Sundays for now. Word count is about 2000 ~ 4000ish per chappie.
