"I'm bored." You heard Ororo complained for the fourth time in less than ten minutes.

Lying on the couch, you barely moved to answer. Your feet were resting on her thighs as she was slumped on the couch to your right. Jean was sat in a chair in front of you, finishing her homework.

"Jean, hurry up!!" Ororo whined impatiently, eager to finally do something of the afternoon.

You yawned as Jean asked Ororo to wait two more minutes. Too tired to even talk, you closed your eyes and pulled the warm blanket that was over you closer. Your head resting on a cushion, you felt a faint draft beside you, making you shiver, followed by a small tug on the blanket. You assumed it was probably Ororo, trying to find a new activity while Jean was finishing her homework, and decided to ignore it. A harder tug on the blanket made you opened your eyes and you asked abruptly:

"What?"

Ororo and Jean both raised their head to look at you, surprised and confused by your annoyed tone.

"What did you want to tell me?" You asked Ororo, suddenly unsure of you.

"Nothing." She frowned, looking at you as if you were being possessed. She, then, proceeded to look back at the ceiling and groaned at Jean to hurry up.

Pulling the blanket closer, you started to wonder about your sanity when you felt another tug on it. Fear started to get hold of you as you sat straight on the couch, your breath caught in your throat. As soon as you had moved, the blanket was thrown across the room, landing next to Jean, who only smiled. You screamed loudly making a light bulb above you explode. Why were Jean and Ororo not panicking? You had your answer when you heard Peter's recognizable laugh behind you.

"You're such an easy target." Peter said, making fun of you. "Did you think it was a ghost?"

He walked past you and collapsed on the couch next to Ororo, smirking. Warrren was following closely behind, grinning.

"Well, yeah." You admitted, a little ashamed. You could not believe you were saying that out loud. "I really freak out when it comes to this."

"I didn't know you were such a scaredy-cat, babe." Warren teased you as he sat on your left and put his arm around your shoulders.

"Shut up, blondie." You retorted, nudging him slightly.

Warren squinted his eyes at you, taken aback by the horrendous nickname you had given him.

"Did you just call him blondie?" Peter interjected, grinning. "Why didn't I think of that before?"

Peter laughed at this for a moment, repeating the nickname over and over as if it was the greatest joke ever. You looked back at Warren and saw him frowning, probably realizing that Peter was going to make his life a veritable nightmare because of that.

"By the way, did you call me babe or did I make that up?"

Warren focusing back on you, smirked before asking: "You don't like it?"

"I like it as much as you like blondie."

"I'll stop if you do then." He raised one of his eyebrows, waiting for you answer.

"Deal."

You pulled him to you and pressed a soft kiss on his lips before Peter cut you off, grinning:

"Well, I won't."

Warren sighed against your lips:

"You know you're going to have to pay for that, right?"

You grinned widely before answering: "Yeah, I figured." But you did not really care. Seeing Warren teased by Peter was so entertaining it was worth the fallout.

---

Later, that same day, as you were finishing eating dinner with Kurt and Jean, Scott burst into the room only to say:

"Movie night in thirty minutes, guys. Rendezvous in the living room of the second floor."

You smiled at Jean. It had been ages since you had done that. You loved staying late watching stupid movies and then talking the night away about it. So, after a quick detour by the bathroom and your bedroom, you entered the living room enthusiastically. Everybody was already sat: Jean and Scott were cuddling into an easy chair; Peter and Ororo were sat on the floor, a huge bag of popcorn between them, and Kurt and Warren were sat on the couch. The television was already on and was showing an unsettling background. You shivered slightly at the disturbing music playing as you sat between Kurt and Warren.

"What are we watching?" You inquired to no one in particular.

You glimpsed Warren smirk as Scott answered you. They had chosen a horror film about ghosts that had been released a few months ago. Turning toward Warren, you said:

"You didn't waste any time."

"You knew it was coming."

He tried to take you in his arms but you dodge him. You sank into the couch instead and brought a cushion to your chest.

Warren raised an eyebrow, smiling: "Really?"

"I can handle a scary movie by myself." You tried to sound as confident as you could but you did not believe a word of it and neither did Warren. Still, you were not planning on letting him win this easily.

Scott, holding Jean tightly, exclaimed: "Their first lovers' tiff and we're all here to witness it, isn't that amazing?"

Jean shushed him and Peter pushed the button play of the remote control. You took a deep breath and tried not to think too much about it. You knew the movie would be scary but it was not that was bothering you. It was the after. When you would end up in your bedroom, alone, and try to fall asleep in the darkness, surrounding by strange noises and picturing ghosts on their way to haunt you.

---

One hour and many jump scares later, you could already tell your mind was going to play tricks on you during the night. As another character was being pursued by a pretty nasty ghost, you gasped. You swore under your breath. You had tried to hold it together, not wanting to give Warren the satisfaction of seeing you scared but it was a lost cause.

It was only minutes after that that you heard yourself scream as a loud noise was made beside you. Clutching the cushion against your chest, you almost jumped on Warren. When you heard the noise again, seconds afterwards, you pulled your knees to your chest. Kurt appeared next to you in a puff of black smoke, terrified and clutching his tail in his hands as a protection. You sighed in relief as you realized he must have teleported himself and leaned against Warren.

"Don't want to act tough anymore?" He whispered in your ear as he took you in his arms.

He smiled faintly at the way you were crushing the cushion and you lost yourself in his blue eyes. You were only able to nod no before laying your head on his chest, feeling more secure in his arms than ever before.

---

As the movie finally came to an end, you closed your eyes and took a deep breath. There was no way you would be able to sleep after that. Just picturing yourself in your bed in the dark sent chills down your spine. Warren pressed a kiss on the top of your head before asking you:

"You're not mad at me anymore, right?"

"I couldn't, even if I wanted to."

You smiled at him genuinely before turning your head toward Jean and Scott. They had to leave to do something urgent which could basically be translated by a make out session. Kurt left soon after them to go to sleep, still jumping at every noise. Peter, Ororo, Warren and you were the only ones left in the room.

Comfortably resting in Warren's arms, surrounding by your friends and with lights on everywhere in the room, you could only think how easy it would be to fall asleep there. Maybe if you did, you would not have to spend the rest of the night getting scared by your own brain. You were willing to give it a shot when Warren asked to Peter suddenly:

"How is everything going on with Erik?"

You raised your head suddenly. You could not believe you had not asked Peter about it. It had been a few days since he had confessed everything to his father and you had no idea how everything had unfolded. And considering Warren's expression, it was the same for him.

The grin that appeared on Peter's lips warmed your heart.

"Perfect. I mean, it's not cuddles and kisses, but there's something building up between us. Like a real father-son relationship."

"Really? That's great, Peter." You said to him, putting your hand on Warren's chest.

You knew how Warren felt about this. Considering his relationship with his father was not good, he was afraid his best friend would go through the same as he did. You knew Warren would do anything to protect Peter; including telling him to be careful, but you could not let him say that. Peter was too happy. Locking eyes with Warren, you gave him a warm smile, trying to make him understand what you were thinking.

Nodding, he finally said: "I'm happy for you."

Peter's eyes sparkled and you realized how much it meant to him that his relationship with his father was going well. Ororo who had stayed quiet began to talk to Peter about something but you could not make out the words.

"We should head back to our rooms." Warren said when he saw you yawn.

You rubbed your eyes and agreed. You were tired and lying in your comfy bed would not be a bad idea. Warren kissed your temple before getting up. You followed him. You said good night to Peter and Ororo before leaving the room. You were still perfectly able to hear Peter shout at Warren:

"Goodnight blondie!"

You chuckled as Warren groaned. You did not stay in this giggly mood for long as you crossed the dimly lighted corridors of the school. Every dark corners made you skin crawl. You reached your bedroom in no time and at the idea of staying alone in it, you flinched. You had to ask him.

"Would you stay with me for the night?"

"Already?" Warren smirked. "I was thinking about buying you dinner first."

You blushed at his innuendo.

"No really, would you?"

"I'd love to, but Raven would kill us." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, fighting between what his brain and his heart were telling him.

"She won't know." You tried to convince him, begging for him to stay.

Warren chuckled at your insistence. "She'll know. She always does. And do you really want to listen to McCoy preaching us about unprotected sex for two hours?"

He had a point. You had heard people talking about Professor McCoy sex education course and the only words that seemed to come out of it was: horribly awkward and embarrassing. But nonetheless, it would be worth it.

"If it means not spending the night alone then yes."

He smiled at you and rubbed the back of his neck again, thinking.

"What about I stay with you until you fall asleep? Or Ororo comes back?"

"Thank you." You cried out, relieved, and pulling him into a hug.

"I'll do anything for you." He whispered, hugging you back, before pressing a kiss on your neck, on your jaw and then on your lips. It was soft and tender and slow. And you loved every seconds of it.

---

Lying in your bed in your pajamas, you sighed happily. Warren's chest to your back, you snuggled into your quilt. You could feel his breath in the nape of your neck, making your heart pound in your chest. Even something as simple as that was driving you crazy and that's when you realized it. This feeling that was growing inside of you for some time now. This feeling you always knew was there but never had the guts to admit it to yourself.

You loved him.

And there was no turning back now.

You loved him and one day you would have to tell him.
