You never thought that you would get out of Lakewood but five years after Kieran had been arrested and later killed in prison, you were far from the scared teenager that you had been. Since during the killings, you had been dating Noah but now you were happily married in a town far from Lakewood with a daughter that you loved dearly and a second child on the way. It hurt when you left your friends back in Lakewood, but you needed a change and now your life was a beautiful paradise that you never thought you would see.
Emma had phoned you earlier in the week asking to visit. You gave her a time and date that you and Noah were both going to be free, a time that you would have put your daughter to bed as Emma had emphasised the importance of the conversation.
The evening had already settled when Emma arrived. Your toddler was in blissful slumber already whilst you, your husband and your friend took a seat in the living room. Noah was sat by your side, one of your hands held in his, the other cupping your swollen middle, almost ready to burst.
"What's wrong?" You asked Emma. "You sounded so panicked on the phone."
"I wish I wasn't telling you this, but you need to know that you're not safe," she whispered.
"What do you mean?" Noah asked.
You looked to your husband, slightly confused. This was the safest you had ever been. All you needed to worry about was taking care of a toddler and making sure this baby came safely, it was nothing compared to a murderer chasing you every day.
"I got a phone call last week. It was a man, well it sounded like a man anyway. He knew stuff about the murders that only we would know that only us and the killers knew. He also knows about you guys. Knows about your lives, where you live. He told me your address, your daughters name, told me about Audrey and Brooke. I don't know who it was, but they threatened all of us," she explained. "I'm scared that it is all going to happen again."

You felt your heart skip a beat, a lump forming in your throat. If it wasn't bad enough to have survived a maniac before but now you had children to care about. It was a bigger fear than anything you felt you could feel.
"Someone else is torturing us again?" you croaked.
"And this time we have so much more to lose," Noah sighed.
