《Fandom Imagines and Preferences V》Chloe Beale- Share (c)

Your girlfriend Chloe was a member of the acapella group at your university, the Barden Bella's and although you had gone to every show, she had to support her, you had never actually met her fellow singers. It wasn't as though she was trying to keep you away from them or vice versa, but rather nothing ever worked out, you all being busy people and it being a struggle to find time that you could meet up.
Knowing how important they were to her; you were excited when she invited you to a party at their shared accommodation where she had previously lived before moving in with you. There would be a few others there but all of the Barden Bella's were there, so it worked out well enough.
Chloe escorted you around the party, introducing you to all of her friends and making sure that you got along with them all rather well. It took a while to locate everyone and get introductions sorted but once they were finally completed, she pulled you off to an empty room a hopeful smile on her face.
"So?" She grinned, almost jumping on the spot.
You cocked an eyebrow at her, not quite sure what she was asking.
"What do you think of them?" She asked. "I know you didn't get to talk to them too much and there's a fair few of them, so it may be hard to remember them all and differentiate them, but from your quick introduction, what did you think?"
You were glad that you had gotten along with them all, at least as well as you could from your short conversations. It would have killed you to let Chloe down when she was so excited, so it was enjoyable to know you would only encourage it.

"They all seem lovely," you said honestly.
She excitedly squealed before pulling you into a tight hug.
"I'm so glad you like them," she squealed. "But I don't think I could share you for much longer."
"Pardon?"
Chloe shrugged her shoulders. "I just love you so much, I can't imagine having to share you with all of them, I like having our time alone."
You couldn't help but laugh at her innocent expression. Leaning in you pressed your lips to hers, to reassure her of your love.
"I love you a lot Chloe, so please don't worry. We will spend time with your friends for as long as you want us to, and then I am all yours again," you assured.
"That's how I want it," she smiled.
You kissed her again before letting her take you back out to the party, to get to know her friends a little better.

Dark Matter
In the year 2023, scientists investigating the nature of dark matter caused a blackout throughout the entire world of Coranth. With this blackout came the appearance of supernatural and near-magical elemental abilities able to be wielded by all. By harnessing the dark matter in the environment, even ordinary humans now accessed powers that would have been deemed fantasy. These abilities include Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, and Terra, being the five natural elements of which dark matter is absorbed by the planet itself. Additionally, the two moons orbiting Coranth offer the "Superior" elements of Dark and Light. The year is now 2041, and Dark Matter will follow the story of an adolescent boy named Raiden Sullivan in a dystopian future, 16 years old, eldest of 2, and son to Marcus Sullivan. Raiden is an intelligent young man belonging to a poor family with an absentee mother. He partakes in daily chores to cover living expenses after school and his home life is surrounded by his caring father and younger sister. In truth, this is my take on urban fantasy with slight LitRPG that keeps the "magic" elements somewhat scientific for a more realistic story. In using the dark matter surrounding our universe, humans can now harness elemental abilities as well as absorb dark matter from the beasts/monsters to further strengthen their abilities. For the most part, that'll be the main premise of the power system. Full transparency, this will be the first story I write and also the first story I publish, so please be patient with me. For some context, I'm an avid reader and after 4 or so years of only consuming, I feel that it might be time to try my hand at writing instead. Please feel free to add your opinions and criticism, it would be much appreciated. With that said, I hope you enjoy Dark Matter!

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
