《Fandom Imagines and Preferences V》Joey Tribbiani- We'll See (h)

Unlike the rest of your friends around you, you had never had much luck in relationships or even that many relationships for that matter.
It wasn't by choice, they just never really happened for you and you had come to terms with that, but it did get difficult at times when you saw other people so happy with their significant others.
Your most recent breakup hadn't been the best – the guy you had been with decided that he'd rather be with your step-sister and the two of them had moved out of New York together.
The whole thing sucked, but what sucked more is that your step-mum saw no issue in what her daughter had done, and no one had stood up for you in any way.
Through all of this, your friends had stood by you and Joey had even invited you to move in with him because he knew you were struggling with living at home.
Chandler was moving in with Monica and Rachel was still living at Monica's too, so that meant there was a free room at Joey's.
Now you would be lying if you said that you never thought Joey was attractive, however you definitely didn't think that you'd be trying to battle against a growing crush that you had on him.
It was no secret that Joey was quite popular with the ladies but he hadn't had a girlfriend in a good while so you couldn't really say what his feelings were like.
In the past month that you had been living together, you had seen many different sides of Joey – the one where he's tired and can't even make his own sentences, the one where he's frustrated and takes it out on his room, the one where he's worried and cares for you when you're capable of doing it yourself.

You were relaxing in front of the tv when Joey came home, and you could tell from the look on his face that the day he'd had on set hadn't gone very well.
"Hey Joe, not the best day?" you questioned as you spun the recliner around.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Nothing went right! I kept messing my lines up, everyone was off all day and we had to do so many takes."
As he ranted, you got up to pull him into a hug which he practically melted into.
His arms wrapped around your waist and he nuzzled his head into your neck. "Gosh Y/N, I need this so much."
"What? A hug?"
He chuckled but tightened his grip. "No, you."
"Me? Joe, I live here."
"But like a friend and I don't want you as a friend."
You giggled slightly. "Well that's just charming."
"I want you as more than a friend Y/N," he stated as he pulled away from you so he could look down at you.
"And what exactly is me being more than a friend?"
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I like you! A lot and I don't even know how to say this or if you'll hate me for saying this but god Y/N I like you so damn much," he rambled out as one hand remained on your waist. "You don't deserve what that guy did to you, he never deserved you in his life and I can promise you I will never ever do that to you because I just want to be deserving of you."
You were lost for words after Joey's confession, all you could do was stare at him and focus on how his thumb was rubbing gently at your waist.

"I know this is a lot and I know this seems so out of the blue but all I've been thinking of recently is how to tell you."
Smiling, you could see the sincerity in his eyes. "I like you too Joe, I just never thought you'd like me back.
The surprise was evident on his face.
"But Joe, I don't do relationships. Well I do them but evidently I don't do them very well."
He chuckled, before leading you over to the sofa so that both of you could sit down.
"And as surprised as I am that you like me, I can't help but be worried that this could ruin our friendship," you spoke softly as you voiced your concerns to him.
Joey put his arm around you. "We won't be ruining anything; I think that by giving this a shot we can get even closer and who knows where it'll go."
"I don't exactly have the best track record, and everyone will go nuts."
"We can figure it out together," he reassured you with a smile. "We don't need them to know yet – we have a lock on our door you know."
Giggling, you cuddled up to Joey and it felt right.
"I'll fix your track record Y/N, 'cause I'm going to be the first and last amazing relationship you have."
"As in I'll never have a great relationship after you?" you questioned even though you knew that's not what he meant.
He chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of your head as if it was the most natural thing in the world. "Not exactly," he answered. "Just because I think I'll be the best guy ever and you'll never want to leave me."
You laughed at his words, but you couldn't help but agree a tiny little bit. "We'll see Joe."

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
