Synopsis: The guys and Charlie head out to the water park for fun in the sun! What could go wrong?!

Heat. No one can stand it. And today....is a prime example.

"Ugh.....it feels like we're in literal hell!!!" Ace fanned himself, the feeling of his basketball Jersey stick to him like flypaper. He looked around to see the rest of the first years were suffering from the heat in their own way. Jack kept drinking water to tackle it, Epel was sticking an ice pack on his neck, Deuce kept a mini electric fan on him and Sebek....does what Sebek would do.

Charlie hung upside down from the couch, her feet on the backrest and her head hanging off the side, hair swept up into two messy space buns. Like the boys, she wore a tank top and shorts, her were more form fitting to her figure, her feet were bare as peach colored flip-flops dangling from her pedicured toes (courtesy of Vil). She and the guys were stuck inside the Ramshackle dorm, supposedly trying to do their homework, but because of the heat wave that struck the Sage Island today, not only did it cut the power from the school, the small dorm started to feel like an oven. And all went downhill from there. "Well...at least were not in Grim's place...." She turned her head to the side to see her gray tanuki of a companion pant heavily, his fur cling to his body. His ears were down, slick with sweat, his blue flames could barely be seen.

"Haaa.....haaa....ore-sama.....feels like dying....." he whined. He sprawled onto the hardwood, floor trying to get some ventilation on his skin, but the fur made it less than easy to be successful.

Two of the ghosts materialized, looking down at the first year group in pity. "We'd try and help you youngsters tackle the heat, but it seems this weather's getting to us too...." To prove their point, white drops of watery sweat pooled on their arms like milky beads.

"It's not your fault....global warming's just fucked up...." Charlie sighed as she felt one of them fan her with her large fan.

"I thought Crowley was gonna install an AC in here." Deuce looked at her tiredly.

"Yea, but he just blew it off like he does with everything he throws at us...." Grim griped.

"What do we do...? We can't just stay here and suffer in this heat!" Epel panicked, retyping his hair up off his neck.

"Octavinelle?" Ace asked.

"Azul's just gonna make us pay to swim." Jack shot down.

"Scarabia?"

"Do you want out skin to melt off??" Deuce shouted at Ace.

"Ugh, why did I agree to stay away from Malleus and stay with these humans?" Sebek mumbled.

"Guys, enough!" Charlie snaps. "We're already tired as is from the heat! We don't need a fight to start now!" She turns right side up and sits cross-legged on the couch. "We can't go to the other dorms since they're likely having the same problem as us. Not to mention, the school's power went out, so we're screwed until then!"

"Hold on...I think I saw something on my phone the other day...." Jack said as he looks up something. Once he finds it, he nods. "I was right! There's a water park!" This made the others perk up immediately.

"Seriously?!" Charlie's face lit up.

"A water park?! Sweet!! Wait...what IS a water park?" Epel asked.

"Do you know what the place is?" Deuce asked.

"It's a big resort known as Laguna Mythica. It's a really popular tourist attraction." Jack said as he looked up the information online. "Lots of water rides, a wave pool, even a lazy river. And the entrance fee is pretty moderate. Students can get $5 off their entry."

"Awesome!!! Let's go!!" Ace jumped to his feet and made a beeline for the door, only to get yanked back from his jersey collar by Sebek.

"Not so fast, human!" He said. "We need a proper meeting before we can go to the resort."

"He's right." Charlie nods. "We need to plan what to pack, when to go, and how long were planning to stay."

"Aww...." Ace whined.

"And....would it be alright, if we got some of the others in on this?" Epel asked.

"That's be a nice thing to do!" Deuce supports. "We owe our dorm leaders and senpais a lot! Plus, we can't let them suffer in this heat while we hog the fun! Let's gather everyone and schedule a meeting!"

"I'll contact Kalim, Azul and Ortho. You guys can handle the other four." Charlie nods.

"Ugh, goody-goodies...." Ace scowled, earning himself a whack on the head by Sebek.

"Nonsense! Waka-Sama would love to spend time at a place such as this! I must well Lilia immediately!!"

It wasn't long before all of the leaders got contacted and everyone had gathered at the Ramshackle dorm for the meeting.

"A water park...." Riddle repeats.

"Laguna Mythica?" Kalim asked. "Never heard of it!"

"It's a widely known water amusement park." Vil answered. "So many people in Twisted Wonderland have gone there and the reviews are great."

"G-going to a place with so many people....not my kind of mission, guild master...." Idia's voice shook.

"Nii-San, it'll be fun! Besides, when was the last time we got to go out?" Ortho said. "It's a good opportunity! You should take it!"

"Ah....I know Laguna Mythica isn't the Coral Sea, but experiencing something land dwellers find for enjoyment as the beach...this intrigues me greatly!" Azul smiled.

"But shouldn't we tell the headmaster where we're going?" Malleus raised his hand.

"Tch, what's that lousy bird brain gonna do? Suspend us?" Leona snarked. "We're all dyin' in this heat, Lizard. Don't think you're the only one suffering."

"If you please!" Charlie snapped, drawing attention back to herself. "As I was saying, I know all of us hate this extreme weather, but with the power lost on school grounds, we're as good as fucked in this heat wave! Besides, this is a rare chance for all of us to get away from the stress of academic life and have some fun!"

"Charlotte is right." Riddle nods. "Being pushed into schoolwork is the daily for all of us. Let's all save our work for later and have a break."

"Thanks, Riddle. So: here's what I've got planned!"

Half an hour later, with some snooping around and gathering all their necessary items, everyone gathered in the mirror chamber, ready to travel to Laguna Mythica.

Charlie smiled as she moved around in her swimsuit, ready for a day of relaxation and fun. She made sure she had all her necessary items for the day in her beach bag, whilst adjusting her sunglasses on her head. "Alright! Are we good to go?" She calls over we shoulder.

"Aye, Sir!" Cater salutes.

"Let's move!" She smiled. "Dark Mirror, to Laguna Mythica!"

Once the group was transported, their eyes became wide by surprise. All around the entire park was huge. People were having fun inside from the wave pool to a race on the slides between two kids.

"Whoa! It's a lot bigger than the pictures make it out to be!" Kalim smiles.

"Aright, everyone, make sure you have your IDs and money on hand!" Riddle announces as the group moves to the entrance booths.

After everyone paid, had shown ID and gotten wristbands to show they were park guests, everyone made it inside.

"Ooooooh! There's so much to do!" Grim smiled. "Water slides, a jungle gym, ah! And a lazy river!"

"It's already the middle of the day and they're cranking." Jack nods as he stretched. "Must be pretty well known...."

"So what can we do?" Epel asked.

"Well, we need to find a suitable place to set all our stuff down. And...I guess we can go wherever!" Charlie shrugs.

They managed to find one big enough for everyone to place their stuff on. Charlie took off her coverup to unveil her swimsuit, perfect to her style. The dark blue and silver stars made a complimentary design with the style of the swimsuit. Good things the ruffled fabric wasn't that dramatic. The cold feeling of the sunblock on her skin sent goosebumps pricking her arm, but they fell away when she got used to it. She normally would be self-conscious of her body in bikinis or even a one piece, but she was too hot to care. (Photo collage up above)

"Ah....feels like old times...." She breathed in the cool air as the sun shown overhead, kicking off her flip-flops. She looked over and immediately felt pink on her cheeks. Similar to their uniforms from Night Raven, all the boys were wearing swim trunks in their house's colors. Didn't help that most of them were semi-ripped.

'Dear lord....please send help!!' She squealed helplessly inside her mind.

"Hey, Charlie!" Cater winked as he walked over, his phone brandished like always. "Why don't we get a quick photo before we dive in?"

""S-Sure...." She quivered as Cater got close to her and held the camera up, as she gave a small nervous smile that the flash caught as fast as lighting.

"And....done!" He quipped. "You look amazing in you swimsuit!"

"Oh! T-Thanks..." she smiled.

"Hey, Cater! Don't hog her for yourself! We wanna hang with her too!!" Ace barged in and grabbed Charlie, draining her towards the wave pool, Deuce in tow.

"Hey! You forgot to put on sunblock!" Riddle screamed after them, but it fell on deaf ears once Ace fell backwards into the Wave Pool when they were far enough.

Charlie shoved Deuce underwater by his head as she laughs like crazy. He emerged, sputtering with water out of his mouth.

"Oi! That was uncalled for!" He shouted.

"Not as uncalled for as this!" Out of nowhere, she tackled him into the water and the both of them went under just as the first few waves of the wave machine started up.

"Haha....things never change...." Trey laughed as he sat and watched the three tackle one another as the wave machine went on, growing higher and higher until they were over their heads to crash onto them and submerge them underneath.

Ten minutes later, Ace was hacking his lungs out after getting a mouthful of water in his lungs, forcing Deuce and Charlie to drag him back to the concrete.

"I can't believe he didn't see the next wave coming. He dodged the first one, but the second came as soon as he got to his feet." Deuce shook his head as he pats Ace's back to help him breathe.

"I told you to grab inner tubes if you were going deeper towards the front, but no!" Riddle griped. "And if either of you three died, it'd be on my shoulders!!"

"Uh, you know they have lifeguards all around here, right?" Cater looks up from his phone as he sipped his soda.

"I'm aware! But still...." Riddle sighed as he lied back onto the beach chair, fanning himself. "It's still so hard to keep a balance between leniency and rule abiding, especially if it comes to dorm mates like these two...." He eyes ADeuce warily as Charlie sat beside him.

"Riddle, I thought you said we were gonna out away the academics and let loose!" She chided playfully. He turns away with a blush.

"D-don't remind me...." He coughed awkwardly.

"Here." She reaches into her bag and grabs a few granola bars with fruit filling. "Have one. You seem like you need it." Riddle looked over and her and sat up.

"Thank you." He nods with a tiny smile as he tears open the wrapper and takes an average-sized bite. He could taste strawberry filling among the packed grain and he hummed as he chewed. "Thanks....there's are quite good!"

"They always help me out when I was younger." Charlie nods. "Wanna go to the lazy river?"

"Oh! Uh...." He looked away nervously. "Well I, uh...."

"It's okay. We've got all day!" She said. "You can come to me when you feel like it." He flashed her a smile back. The air around them became normal until-

"Ack! ACE! What the hell?! I just dried off!!"

"You gotta catch me first~!"

Riddle already felt irked at the interruption. "Those no-good little-!" But a small peck at his lips stopped him from ranting.

"Hey~. No need to short fuses of anger, okay?" Charlie reprimanded him lightly. But she didn't get an answer back when Riddle's face turned peach-pink from the PDA.

"Ne~ Sea Star~!" Floyd's voice was floating as he wrapped his arms over Charlie, head placed on top of her, as he grinned. "Wanna hang with us~? We could use another person on the Atlantic Storm ride~."

"Sure!" She nods. "With....?"

"Me, Sharksucker and Sea Urchin!" He laughs as he looks over at Ruggie and Jack, the latter of which had finished putting on sunblock.

"Yea, I might as well curb my lunch for now. Some of these water rides look cool!" Ruggie nodded, fixing the belt sash around his neck like a towel.

"And the line seems pretty short. We should get going before it gets longer." Jack nods, seeing the tower staircase was around a third crowded.

"Alright!" Charlie plucks off her sunglasses and stretches, walking with the boys towards the pink and yellow colored cone.

She was too preoccupied with the others that she didn't notice that Riddle had passed out on his chair, steam pouring out of his ears.

Leona looked over. "Tch, at least he can stop being uptight." He closed his eyes as he let the sun's rays bask down on him.

"Well, who can change him?" Azul chuckled, making sure the umbrella was covering most of him from the rays, despite the sunblock on his arms. "Then again, she's changed us all as well...."

"Bwahahahaha! Shark Sucker, you were so lame! Falling out of the raft when we went downhill!!"

"Because you pushed me out of it! On purpose!" Ruggie snapped, hair dripping wet and his ears flat against his head.

"Should we try and do something...?" Charlie whispered to Jack unsure.
