"The first thing that happened the morning I woke up, the ghosts said 'happy birthday' to me and presented me with breakfast! Little odd tasting on the eggs....but it's still a nice gift!"

-Birthday Interview-

Part 1

*laughs* Grazie! Sure go ahead! I've got time before I'm needed on the dance floor again!

A little bit, but not much! I'm surprised everyone got together to plan this ahead of time, too!

I mean, I'll say they did capture my taste:

I'm a bit of a soft girly-girl: the pink and gold decorations, balloons and banner, the cake and the flowers speak for themselves.

And then the more funky, artistic side: the neon and black lights, dance floor and DJ booth, and even a paintball/laser tag zone!

I'm glad they took in my interest and aesthetic for the party!

Although, it was a tiring after that scavenger hunt/wild goose chase I got dragged through.....

It's a small game where you look for clues that lead you to certain locations and finding certain things listed in riddles you come across.

You follow a trail that leads to your final location, or as most prefer: "X marks the spot", and the final treasure lays there.

The first clue I got had led me to the Heartslabyul Dorm. A Cater clone helped me with my task of searching the rose bushes for the next clue.

Then at Savanaclaw, the next riddle told me to throw 3 discs through the goalie posts to receive my next riddle!

I'll admit, playing in a dress is a lot easier said than done.....

Thankfully, Kalim gave me a short break at Scarabia and treated me to an elephant ride to rest!

My last clue basically said: 'You never should've left your dorm!'.

Naturally, I panicked a bit and fled back.

Only to be met with everyone in the lounge, turning on the light and yelled, "SURPRISE!" when I ran in.

I was so happy, I nearly squeezed the life out of the first years! Apparently, it was THEIR idea to host me a party!

Got everyone together and they had planned this a day in advance!

*giggling* those guys, I swear....

Part 2

It's a form of self-defense / fighting method, you could say it's in the same circle as martial arts, that involves three things: patience, speed and strength. Except this form of martial arts originated in South Korea and had flourished ever since.

The symbol of Hapkido is the Eagle. They have these three characteristics.

Patience: they wait and stalk their prey before going in for an attack.

Strength: just the sheer force of their talons alone to snatch up their victim is explanation enough!

And Speed: Eagles are known to fly up to 55 miles per hour. They can come and go in the blink of an eye!

Like all kinds of martial arts, you must use your mind and your body to combine these components into one.

Your body must have the speed and react fast to oncoming attacks.

Your mind must have patience to plan and coordinate how taking down your enemy must be done: carefully and placidly.

And together, they must have strength: physically and mentally to overcome those stronger than them.

That is the way of the Eagle.

Ever since I was seven. It was some slow progress. But as I got older, however, I became more active and observant of my teachers and what they were teaching me.

Every month or two, I breezed through a new level like chapters in a book!

The belt levels go as followed: White, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Green, Blue, Brown, Red, Red-Black and lastly Black!

I was just thirteen when I reached the black belt level! All my teachers were astonished I did that much!

And when I was fifteen, I got another job! The Master of the studio where I went every day for practice offered me a job as a student instructor!

He'd let me choose my schedule however I wished, and get paid a fair amount every month!

I was so happy I agreed immediately! My momma was okay with it, as long as it didn't get in the way of my academics!

So I stayed there for four more years, and I became stronger and stronger! I got to meet new students, more teachers from other locations, and they taught me their methods of fighting!

I had a wide range of fighting techniques at my fingertips cuz of their help!

That explains how I took down the Savanaclaw guys before Magift, the Scarabia dormers, and a few Pomefiore! But you didn't hear it from me!

Of course! Jade and Floyd are exceptional partners! We go easy on each other! They teach me some things and I return the favor!

Deuce tried it once, but he ended up quitting after the first class.....He couldn't remember a simple White Belt level Hand-Twisting method.....

Cater just films my classes, Jack is the only one who actually pays attention with Ruggie, Leona's too lazy to attend..... *sigh* most of them have their quirks where they do or don't....hell. There's rarely any try!

But they always seem to perk up whenever there's sparring involved....

Boys will be boys.....😒

Does breaking a wooden board with a heel-hand attack count as extreme?

And, Uh.....let's just say that Trey is DEFINITELY gonna think twice before he taps my shoulder and asks a question.

....Ace and Lilia got a kick out of it though.... I can still hear them laughing their asses off. I just hope his nose is okay.....

Part 3

I'd say....The first one is my freedom of speech.

As a kid, I was always shy when it came to speaking up for myself. I couldn't look a person in the eye, and I kept a quiet voice.....especially when I kept getting pushed around by Shawn.

He would try to flush my money down the toilet, he'd steal the tv remote so I couldn't change it, so many things..

It wasn't until one day when I released all that anger on one of my tormentors from school.

It's like a wave of strength overcame me, like I felt myself let loose and....it. Felt. Fucking AWESOME!!!

I'd rather not get into details about what I did....it may scar you. *smiles sweetly*

Dedication. And Loyalty to a fault.

I know some people may say that being trustworthy of people may seem like it's a weakness, since you may not know everything about them...

....but to me, it shows your softness and empathy. I'm one who's willing to someone's counselor and therapist.

Should they have any regrets or problems that need to be worked out or solved, they usually go to me for the advice part.

But what the individual does next is all on them.

That was something my brother Shawn told me.

Not really. He once fought with a fifth grader for the last chocolate milk and grilled cheese lunch. Ended up knocking the guy's teeth out.

My sister's the more friendlier one. Maybe cuz of how she looks....

I've got two loving parents and two equally loving siblings!

Shawn is the oldest child. He's been abroad, traveling to different places. Netherlands, Cameroon, Spain, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, etc!

Elaine is the middle. She's been aspiring to be a writer since High School! I've read her transcripts of a novel she worked on.

And then there's me! Artsy, Courageous, and Generous. I've always had dreams to become a musician or a stage actor.

There was an event going on at my High School where all the clubs can show off what their clubs are about and get new people to join; the Club Faire. I saw a booth for the Drama Club.

It was around the time I decided to try and become more mentally stronger and confident.

The first meeting was more warmer than I initially thought! All the seniors in the club were friendly: they taught the newcomers the ropes to how Theatre works with them.

We've learnt basic exercises, and acting challenges. Like creating a scene where we only had to use one word per line. The words were given to us; we just had to create the scene and plot.

As the months went by, I got into the groove very fast! And I started to break further out of my shell, much to my surprise and joy!

You could say that breakthrough pushed me to start taking lead roles onstage! *giggling*
