Something is going on during the rally. And it's up to Charlie and the committee to put a stop to it! Well....more on Charlie's part.

Part 3: Seismic Chaos

———————————

Charlie stood alone in the Hall of Mirrors, her lips in a thin line, eyes narrowed in concentration. She felt her mirror copy's presence vanish, knowing what it meant.

"Although, she did well, this was only the beginning of the apocalypse." she murmured, hands clenched into fists. She looked up and stared ahead at nothing.

"Let's hope this works."

Clasping her hands as if she were praying, she concentrates and her hands fill with light. "I can only use this enchantment once. The more copies I create, the more it'll rob me of my mana! I have to be careful!"

A circle of light drew itself around her feet in their widened stance, as wind blew through the hall, making her cape whip in the wind.

"Exclamo exparar!"

The same sound of crushing glass screeched in her ears as she put forth all she mustered into the spell before.

"3.....2.....1!"

She wrenched her hands apart and the spell was finished.

She slumped to the ground, breathing heavily as she felt some of her mana fade.

"Hey, you okay?" her voice perks up. Charlie looks up to see four clones of herself. They were all pale like her Fake, except this time, they had on the dorm uniforms.

The Charlie in the Savanaclaw gear helped her up. "You look like you got punched in the stomach."

"It took a bit out of me to create you guys as fakies." Charlie said.

"Well, any particular reason you need us?" Octavinelle Charlie asked.

"Yea. We already know we've got a crowd of monsters to deal with. And there's only one way we can get them out of here without resorting to violence!"

"How?" Heartslabyul Charlie asked.

"We need to sing." Charlie answered.

"Sing?!"

"Are you crazy?"

"There's so many people! How can we get them to listen to all of us?!"

"No, think about it! This has been done before. But in a different scenario: back at the VDC!" Charlie remembered.

"Yea, but you were by yourself when you did that!" Scarabia Charlie countered.

"I know. And I nearly paid the price...." Charlie bitterly bit, remembering what happened. "But I'm not doing the work this time!"

The four copies looked at one another confused.

"YOU guys are singing. Create a hypnotic tone to lure the guests away from the venues and out of the school!"

"US?!" Savanaclaw Charlie asked.

"Well, we are exact copies of her." Heartslabyul Charlie nodded. "And her voice is strong. Strong enough to lure even zombified people away from here!"

"Plus our acoustics paired with the columns and stalagtites will resonate through the halls and everywhere on campus if we harmonize equally!" Octavinelle Charlie calculated.

"We must get rid of the guests as fast as possible! With our music as bait!" Scarabia Charlie steps up.

"Okay, we'll deal with the guests." Savanaclaw Charlie answered for the group.

"Good!" Charlie smiles relieved, tying on her red hood and flipping it up to conceal her face. "I need to protect the Ramshackle Dorm at all costs. Just keep the monsters busy!" with that, she took off in a flurry of red.

"Okay, let's do this!" Heartslabyul Charlie smiled. The four girls linked hands and stood in a circle.

Scarabia and Savanaclaw Charlie took the vocalizing Harmonies with Octavinelle Charlie now and then, as Heartslabyul Charlie sang the song from Real Charlie's memory.

Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray,

Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met a sailor gay,

Conversing with a young lass, who seem'd to be in pain,

Saying, William, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return again.

My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold,

There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold.

The song began to resonate through the hall like an everlasting Echo, bouncing through the harmonies and alluring song. Octavinelle Charlie decided to join in with he for the second part of the verse.

His hair it rings in ringlets, his eyes as black as coal,

My happiness attend him wherever he may go,

From Tower Hill, to Blackwall, I'll wander, weep and moan,

All for my jolly sailor, until he sails home .

My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold,

There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold.

Scarabia and Savanaclaw Charlie kept their vocals up, not once letting in. The sound grew more powerful as it started to shatter the windows and flow out into the outside air.

My name it is Maria, a merchant's daughter fair,

And I have left my parents and three thousand pounds a year.

Come all you pretty fair maids, whoever you may be

Who love a jolly sailor that ploughs the raging sea.

While up aloft, in storm or gale, from me his absence mourn,

And firmly pray, arrive the day, he's never more to roam.

My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold,

There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold. (2x)

"We need to keep it up! Keep going til our voices are raw!" Savanaclaw Charlie demands. The other three nods and kept singing to not fail Charlie in their task.

——————————-

"You three! How many times do I have to repeat myself!?!" Riddle screeched. Trampling on the flower bed like that... You're violating the rules! No, wait....it's not rule violating....It's violating mannerisms!! I don't care if you're guests or not! You won't get away with this!"

"Riddle, calm down!" Trey stopped him. "I know you're upset but dont resort to violence!"

"You're gonna get a lashing from the faculty if they find out you used magic on them!" Ace added.

"Please, Dorm leader! Calm yourself!" the others try and persuade the second year to tone down his anger. But the claustrophobia only added to Riddle's anger.

"Get back!" he shouts and shoved himself away from the group.

"Whoa, so fierce. Affection for the flowers? No, more like, passion? No kidding!" one guest laughed.

"Lets get a pic with him!!!"

Then, the guest began to snap away with their phones like crazy. And it wasn't just that that made Riddle's anger escalate, no: they also had the FLASH feature on.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

"UGIGIGIGIGIGI!!! I can't take it no more! I'll sever their heads clean off their shoulders!!!" Riddle snarled, his face beet red as he drew his pen from his robe pocket.

Just in time for Deuce and Cater to run in and see the chaos unfold.

"Oh, crap! Riddle's pissed!" Cater grimaced.

"As soon as I got back from the meeting, there was already turmoil!" Deuce muttered.

"He's out for blood....what do we do?!" Cater wrecked his brain for an answer.

But his ears had picked up on a familiar voice. An awfully familiar female voice.

"Bingo!" he whispered. "Hey, Deuce, we need to use magic and get them out of here!"

"Wha-use magic? Is that even legal?!"

"Don't worry. I've a plan!"

Together, the two used their Earth magic to create a wall of leaves that rebounded Riddle's magic. But that only made the ginger infuriated as he pushed his magic harder, making the barrier start to crack and form holes.

"Cater!"

"Keep holding it!

" ....one summer's morning, I carefully did stray,

Down by the Walls of Wapping, where I met ....."

The three picked up on the sound of the voice.

"It's her...the Maiden in Red!"

"Let's find her!"

The three ran out the doors, giving Deuce and Ace the chance to let down the leaf wall and for Riddle to simmer down.

"Whoa...that voice managed to lure them away from here and not a single person got hurt." Deuce was amazed.

"Ugh! They're gone!" Ace flopped down on the floor to rest. "I thought they'd never leave!!"

"What exactly happened?" Cater asked.

"About that..." Trey made eye-contact with Riddle.

"They tried to pluck magic flowers that were just planted in the gardens!" Riddle fumed. "For such ridiculous reasons like putting them in their pictures for Magicam! Don't they realize they're used as herbs for magical drugs?! Law of her majesty, the Queen of Hearts no. 228: 'None shall pluck flowers from the garden beds on Wednesday'! That's clear violation of the rules!"

"Well, yea, they can't just go and rip them up from the ground..." Ace nodded. "But you're in the wrong as well. They don't understand all the rules from the Queen of Hearts.

"What was that?! She is one of the Great Seven!! It's the minimum requirement to memorize at least 100 rules out of the 810 set forth!!"

"He's actually right...." Cater mumbled.

"I think I've gotten less than ten on my mind..."Deuce admitted sheepishly.

"Ugh, he's still like this..." Ace shook his head. "The guests kept poking fun at him, it clearly got a rise out of him. Until it became this..."

"You had a lot of tolerance when it came to them." Trey commended. "But societies, things don't really go to plan if outsides listen to him. They're pretty closed-minded."

"You really did your best, Riddle-kun!" Cater smiled.

"Forgive me for starting a fight. And thank you for holding me back." Riddle thanked.

"But what wad that all about? Diamond-senpai? What's going on? What's this security system? And who was that mysterious voice?"

"Uh...it's a long story.." Cater grimaced.

—————————-

"So, you think that the guests have been gaslighted and all they can think about is Magicam? And you dubbed them as "Magicamonsters? And the voice who lured them away just now was Charlie?"

"First of all, that's such a weird name. But i guess it'll latch onto the other dorms soon enough." Riddle shrugged. "And second: is Charlotte even that powerful?"

"Through her voice alone, yea. But with her voice and magic...you don't wanna know..." Ace shuddered. "And even if it took all three of the teachers to give them fair warning, they merely disregarded it."

"This is beyond anything we may have dealt with before...if the teachers are troubled by this, then that means danger...."

"As expected from these sorts of things..."

The others looked at Cater in surprise. The third year goes into detail: "There are a lot of Magicammers who go out of their way just to get likes. Night Raven College got famous as a Magicam-able place for Halloween...So I thought there'll be some troublesome Magicammers with the guests. And the fact that they kept wanting to see "the Red Maiden" but never had a chance to which made them all the more crazy to find her."

"But Charlie used a mirror spell to make a twin of herself! That wasn't the real Charlie! It was a fake! I saw it with my own eyes: she made a copy of herself." Deuce explained what he saw earlier today.

"What?! Since when did she learn copy magic?!" Trey asked.

"You'd be surprised at how fast she can learn in such a short time..." Riddle shook his head. "Her power is slowly growing the more she learns. It's both gratifying and fearful..."

"But she's our friend!" Ace countered. "Whether she has magic or not doesn't change our view of her! She's still Charlie! And I, for one, would go to the ends of the earth to make sure she's safe and sound even if we're all she has left in her life here!"

"As would I!" Deuce stood his ground. "I nearly lost my mom because of my past. I won't lose Charlie either! She accepted me for who I was and I saw her for who she is. Yea, we have flaws, but we learn from them because she led us to that path."

The two first years stood proud beside one another. If only Charlie could see them now and their dedication to protecting her. And if she did, she'd be moved by their words. They really did care for her, and they'll keep it up even when she's gone.

"They're right. Charlotte has done so much for us all, and we helped her in return. But we must still help her. Myself, included." Riddle nods. "She freed me of my demons because of her pure heart, and I'm forever in her debt. Queen's word."

"As are we." Trey stood by Cater and the third years shared a smile.

"B-But, Cater...back to the topic, you mean they don't mind making trouble for others just for the sake of the likes!?"

"I think they don't consider themselves making trouble for others because they're having fun since they came a long ways to get here. It's like motivation gone wrong."

"I see..."

"But it gets worse: there's no chance of stopping it since it's become too viral. On one hand, you've got those that just enjoy Halloween, but on the other hand, there'll be more waves of the grammers later on!"

"So, the other dorms must be under fire as well?" Riddle theorized

"Yep. They're probably going through the same thing we did...."

The Heartslabyul five heard Charlie's voice ring through the gardens, soothing their worried souls. Almost fully soothed.

"We must find Charlotte immediately and protect her from those heathens!" Riddle commands.

"I'll check the Ramshackle Dorm!" Ace volunteered.

"I'll go to the Mirror Hall. Trey, stay here in case anything happens!" Riddle shouts as he and Ace leave.

"You knew since this morning and didn't bother telling anyone else but us?!" Trey looked at Deuce.

"We were in a rush. Plus the others'll just think I'm crazy...." Deuce muttered.

"You're her friend. Who wouldn't believe you?"

"Aside from that, Cater, get word out to the others. Don't think about going on Magicam! Just text them!"

"Awww, why you gotta ruin my fun, Trey?"

———————————

"Oi! You're asking for it!"

"You wanna get punched?!"

Two of the Savanaclaw students cracked their knuckles as they faced down their "prey" tromping through their setup.

"Well they're intimidating..."

"I've met pussies who've had more balls than you two!"

"THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!"

"Oh geez, the guests and Savanaclaw...that's asking for a death warrant..." Vargas sighed as he entered the second scene of chaos with Howl

"I tried to talk them out of it....but they won't listen. I-I don't know what else to do!" Jack ran a hand through his hair.

"Where's Kingscholar? He's the leader, he'll have to make them back down himself."

"Uh, about that..." Jack tensed as he looked over to where Leona was. The lion had a fire of rage storming in his eyes as he glares at the guests like dead meat.

"Oi, beasts....TEAR EM TO SHREDS!"

"WILL DO!"

"He's letting them resort to violence?!"

"Yea...but they're not as pissed as he is." Jack spat. "We managed to hold him back thanks to Ruggie and part of the committee, but it became too much!"

"Ah, Jack! There you are! And you got Coach Vargas, too!" Ruggie came sprinting in, looking close to the breaking point. "I can't hold Leona back for much longer! He's gonna break through my Unique Magic any second! You gotta stop him now!!!"

"Someone's highly likely to get hurt if this goes on..." Vargas muttered, but then stood up and in front of the hybrids. "I'll take em on myself!"

"You get out of the way, meat sack!" Leona roared.

"Geez, there's no other options left..." Ruggie panted. "We need to use our powers to get the guests out of here while Leona's blocked off!"

"What?! But using magic on people who can't is forbidden!" Jack refused.

"If we don't take action now, someone's gonna get their neck snapped! We need to do this to save Halloween!"

Jack looked stuck, but then relented, "Ugh...aright! Let's go!"

Vargas held the students back as both Jack and Ruggie created a barrier to push the humans back from the area and out the Coliseum. But they grew persistent and tried fighting back, making the first and second year strain to hold their places.

"Geez....we're stuck!" Ruggie felt himself wavering at the sheer strength.

....versing with a young lass, who seem'd to be in pain,

Saying, William, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return aga...

The guests stopped moving as they stilled, listening to the voice that rang through the air and the coliseum.

"The Red Maiden! She's here!!" at once, they scurried like mice towards the entrance of the coliseum, kicking up sand and dust on their way out. But as the dust cleared, they were all gone.

Th shield broke and Jack and Ruggie slumped to the ground, thankful for the voice that lured them away.

"Tch, they got away. They got lucky this time." Leona spat. "And don't think about coming back or you're next on my list!"

"Calm down, Kingscholar." Vargas got up and approached the third year with caution. "Just explain to me what happened."

"It wasn't his fault! It's those bastards that started everything!" one shouted.

"They tried to mess up what we set up!" another jumped in.

"You're saying they tried to ransack the setup?" Vargas repeated. "I mean, sure it's their fault...but the question is: why would they do something like vandalism?"

"Look at this. THIS is the main reason." Jack plucked out his phone and flipped to a post he saved from earlier. Vargas scanned the screen to see that someone wrote a fake article on rumors of the Pirate ship granting wishes.

"The hell?"

"It claims that the haunted ship here is actually a legendary ship from back in the past that can grant wishes...if you photograph anything that the ghosts of the pirates possessed and post it online, you can get granted power. And through that power, you get a wish. Or so it says..." Jack explained.

"Tch, what: were they dropped on their heads when they were born?" Leona rolled his eyes.

"Eh, most of them have a mind to actually not believe the trolling online..." Ruggie inputted. "But I bet they just wanted to post something to get in on the trend..."

"They took the replicas accessories like they were plastic and just snapped away. When they finished, they just threw it and nearly broke it in the process! That's unforgivable!" a third student sneered.

"They even tore the skeleton's clothing to shreds!!"

"Wow...Now i see why you went beserk..." Vargas nodded. "But still: it's better to use words instead of your fists. A magician's muscles are are a vital item for you guys in training. Don't start fight without thinking first."

"Uh, adding to that..." Ruggie raised his hand to jump in politely. "I DID try and talk to them to quit it, but they just ignored it. Not to mention, Leona was sleeping through the whole thing, like usual...until some people caught sight of him, claiming he looked like a statue of the Seven, and started to flash away. He ignored them at first..."

"Fuckin' brats are damn loud! They don't listen to me even if I threaten them!" Leona growled. "They even had the gall to physically touch my ears and tail...I told them clearly: 'you take one more pic of me and I'll make you wish you were never born!' and when they ignored THAT...I guess that meant they wouldn't notice if I ripped their throats out, huh?"
