The day of the stamp rally has arrived! As our boys prepare for the hyped event of the season, a mysterious figure appears lurking around the campus with the voice of a siren, luring the guests into a hypnotic state of mind with their song. Who is this mysterious figure...more specifically, what is it? And do they want?
Part 2: The Maiden in Red.
——————————
-the following day, Sunday-
-the first day of Hallow-week-
"Alright, the lunge looks pretty awesome! The...what are they, Jack-o-lanterns? Yea I still don't get why you make lanterns out of food....but nyaha! They look great!"Grim smiled, prancing around the lounge. "Hey, Charlie, c'mon! We're gonna be late!"
"Geez, you're that hyper?" Charlie laughed as she walked towards her comrade from the staircase
"Well, duh! It's Hallo-Week! We can't afford to miss it!"
"Morning, you two!" the three ghosts appear before them. "It's the start of Hallo-Week!"
"Yep! And me and Charlie are goin out to see the whole school!" Grim grinned. He starts for the door, when-
"Hold on!" The three ghosts begin to surround the two, laughing.
"Wha?! Why are you guys smiling like that?!" Grim starts shivering.
"We've a present for you guys!" they said.
The three ghosts waved their hands and the two were cloaked in smoke.
When it clears, Grim and Charlie had changed.
Grim had a purple bow with spiderwebs sewn onto the and a matching witches hat on his head.
"Nyaha! It's a Halloween costume made only for me! Charlie, check it out!"
"That's pretty nice. But check out!" Charlie steps out of the smoke, completely changed as well.
The sound of heeled boots clicked against the creaking hardwood floors and Charlie appeared. She wears a white short-sleeved blouse, a brown leather underbust corset with three buckled straps across the front, and cinched at her waist showing off her hourglass figure. White petticoat skirts layered atop one another flounced out in a hoopskirted shape. The white lace peeking out underneath the velvet red layer, draping around the back in a short mermaid-tail skirt. Buckled at her waist was a wolf's tail talisman. She finishes the look with black lace fingerless gloves, fishnet tights and her classic black boots. And the most prominent article shown off: a beautiful red cape, the hood over her head, breezing behind her.
For makeup, striking red eyeshadow, a dark red lip, a small amount of mascara and eyeliner with a dash of bronzer to make her cheekbones pop. Her hair was curled into perfect spirals from the chin down.
And courtesy of the Ghosts, she was given the illusion of claw marks on the right side of her face, with fake blood. But thankfully, it would only appear when she commands the illusion be broken.
Lastly, for added accessory, a small wicker basket filled to the brim with handmade raspberry thumbprint shortbread cookies. All baked by herself as of last night.
"Wow....you guys remembered!" she smiled in awe.
"But of course! Nothing too good for our Little Red Riding Hood!" they chuckled. "Oh yes! And Crowley wants us to give you this!" They hand her a crispy black envelope. "He wants you to perform a concert at the Halloween ball, and to come up with a Playlist as soon as possible!"
"Oh! Uh, sure! I think I got something on my phone for the occasion." She nods.
"Allow us to explain: While you've got the Maiden in Red costume, Grim has the Wonderful Magician since that's his calling!"

"We overheard your friends say 'the ramshackle guys dont have costumes'."
"Huh? Our friends?" Grim piques.
"The ones wearing a heart and spade symbol?"
"You mean Ace and Deuce." Charlie sighed.
"Yep! Them two!"
"We thought it'd be lonely if our dorm wasn't the only ones without costumes! So for Grim's we made his with old curtains and for you Charlie, we found a few rolls of unused fabric and a sewing kit on sale at the Mystery Shop! Professor Crewel, with our persuasion, spent several weeks making this thing without you knowing. I hope you don't mind. And the rest...well, that must've been the work of your own clothes!"
"But do you like it?"
"It's wonderful! Grazie mille! So, so much!" Charlie sighed with a smile. "And...my measurements and everything are correct!" she smiles at herself in the mirror.
"Well, when that Vil was over with his cohorts, we snuck a peek at the measuring charts and...may or may not've recorded them down for future reference~."
"Speaking of Vil, I hope the party costume is coming together...."
"Hihihi... glad you think so! And now, now, the preparation is all done. Go and enjoy Halloween!"
"We'll be off on our own, too!" the ghosts wave goodbye.
"Yeah! Let's get moving!" Grim races out the door with the ghosts. Charlie laughs to herself, and flips up the red hood over her head and grasping her basket, follows after.
Unaware that something....strange was about to happen.
——————————
Everything was in full swing and it wasn;t even past the first hour!
Out in the gardens, groups of people gathered around.
"Dad, look! There are so many cool decorations here!" A little girl, dressed as a sailor, tugged at the man's pant leg and pointed around with a smile. He crouched and smiled at her.
"I know! But look: we've also got skeletons~!" He played along with her.
"OoOh!" Cater wiggles his fingers, his voice changed into a eerie tone. "Spooky scary skeletons will send shivers down your spine~!!"
"Be afraid! Be very afraid...!" Deuce tried following in the same manner, but because of his clumsiness, he only made the little girl laugh.
"You're not scary!" She giggled.
Cater broke character and smiles, "That clumsiness is always a trait of you, Deuce-Chan!"
"I-I just don't know how to handle kids well..." the bluenette blushes embarrassed.
"Remember: loosen up and own it!" He reminds the first year before kneeling before the girl. "Happy Halloween! You came with your dad?"
"Uh-huh!" She nods vigorously.
"My daughter's been so excited to see Night Raven College's Hallo-week for so long." the father laughed and tkes out a camera. 'If it's okay...?"
"Oh, of course! We'd be glad to help!" Deuce smiles.
"Ah, thanks! This is one for the scrapbook!" the father tilts his camera at a good angle as his daughter stands between the two students.
"Okay, and....smile!"
"Happy Halloween!" The camera flashes.
After the daughter and her father leave, their stamp in hand and a photo, Duee gets up and brushes his pants off of any loose dirt, when his ears pick up on singing.
"Huh?" He looked around the venue to see who it was that could've been singing, but either the attendees were busy talking to themselves or looking around the venue, marvelling at the decor.
But then he saw something...or SOMEONE wearing red. And despite the hood being up, deuce could faintly make out the sound of singing coming from them and them alone.

But when he blinked, the figure had vanished. Deuce felt his body freeze in fear.
'But...wasn't she here a second ago???' he thought frantically.
"Deuce? You okay?" Cater tapped him on the shoulder, nearly scaring the poor first year, until he calmed down seeing who it was that broke him from his thoughts.
"I-I saw something....over there in the shadows!" he shook, pointing at where the figure was walking when they disappeared into thin air. Cater followed his pointing finger, but saw nothing.
"You're probably just seeing thi-" But the siren-like voice came back and now Cater, too, sees the ghost in the red hood, the cape fluttering behind her in the wind. And he, too, felt chills rack his body at the eerie aura the figure was giving out, her voice making his hair stand on end.
"Wh-what the...?!" He moved closer to Deuce out of instinct. This was scarier than the pumpkin in the library nearly scaring him.
"M-Maybe she'll go away if we ignore her....." Deuce tried to calm him down, and pushes him back to work, despite the fear he felt surging in his veins.

The mirror chamber was equally hopping with popularity.
"Excuse me, could you stamp here?" one woman asks.
"Ah, sure!" Epel steps up and presses the stamper on the designated spot for the venue.
"There you go!" he smiles. But then he remembers what he's actually suppose to do.
His yes close and then they open to glint menacingly. "You dare approach my sanctity? Then you shall perish and be my slave forever!" he opens his mouth to reveal the makeshift fangs and hisses.
"Eek! A vampire!" she screams.
"Yea, it's a bit embarrassing..." Epel giggled. "But our campus is very huge. Take your time to look around!"
"Thank you! It's been so fun looking around this place!" she smiles.
"And it's our first time visiting Night Raven itself!" her husband laughs. "So glad we decided to come this year! I never knew it'd be this beautiful!
"And the mirror chamber is so mysterious! I'll never forget it! Especially that Maiden in Red! Her voice is so pretty, I could listen to it all day!" the woman gushed.
Epel, who heard her, raised an eyebrow in confusion. A Maiden in Red? Since when was that popular? Crowley never mentioned a girl wearing Red would be a part of Hallo-week. But then again, he's always been the eccentric type to pull stuff like this last-minute....
"Well...thank you so much for coming!" he bows. "Enjoy your time here and Happy Halloween!" he waves them goodbye, when....
He caught a glimpse of a red hood wandering in the shadows, her voice ringing through the chamber.
Epel felt himself freeze on the spot, entranced by her melody and ethereal voice. Was this the Maiden in Red the wife and her husband were talking about?!
"Well, Epel seems to be doing alright. As for me...." Vil starts talking to himself several feet away. "I shouldn't let my guard down. They didn't give me the title of the chairman for nothing. Maybe I should-" Then he notices a small body by the doorway. "Huh? That young boy's been at the entrance for quite some time..." he walks over to where he is and kneels. "Excuse me, but did you come alone?"
"Well, no....I turned away for a second and my older brother was nowhere to be seen!" the boy, decked out as a zombie, answered, small tears bubbling in his eyes.
"Oh... you're lost. Don't fret. He'll find you soon." Vil smiles warmly.
"You think so...?" the boy asks.
"You doubt the word of a vampire?" Vil teased. "For someone as non-faithful...i might as well make you my next victim!" he grins, flashing the makeshift fangs and hisses like Epel did earlier.
Immediately the boy giggled. "If you're smiling, then I guess it's not so scary!"
"There it is." Vil smiles. "No one wants to be left with such a frown. Especially on Halloween. Stay with me as we head to the Headmaster's office and we'll find your brother soon."
"Thank you!" he smiles and tags along. Vil steps out of the mirror chamber, leaving Epel to his own devices. He hadn't taken five steps from the doorway when a flash of red bushed past his eyes. Vil froze as turns back, looking down the hallway, to see nothing. He shrugged to himself, merely thinking it was a trick of the light and continued forward. But then, a small angelic voice is picked up and he stops mid-step. He turns back around slowly..... And saw the same red hooded person floating down the hallway, their voice bouncing along the hallowed halls, pure and melodic.
"Great Seven..." he whispered to himself, fear rushing through his veins.
"Huh? What is that?" The boy tries to look around him to try and glimpse at the hooded figure, but Vil blocks his line of sight with his cape.
"It's nothing. It was merely a ghost, my boy." He gave a fake smile and ushered the boy forward gently, unaware that something was watching him from the shadows.

Main street was filled with people walking and chatting amongst themselves, livening up the atmosphere. Candles flickered against the Seven statues along with pumpkins floating in the air and surrounding the statues , their faces glowing by the lights.
And who should be the one to stick out the most than Charlie herself. Her Red Riding Hood costume caught so many people's eyes that she got stopped a few times to get her picture taken and a few autographs when a few teens recognized her on Magicam. She agreed to follow them back since they were respected followers of hers. And a few small babies and kids were rewarded with her thumbprint raspberry cookies. Charlie decided to act the part of Red riding hood by making the children promise to steer clear of hungry wolves who may come for them if they weren't careful.
"And this special cookie-" she takes two from her basket and presents it to a pair of twins. "Will protect you from the Wolf's presence, little ones." she acted out. "You may not know it yet, but it will do its work in guiding you home. Trust me."
"Thank you, Miss Red!" the twins chorused together and took one cookie each, nibbling them carefully.
"Happy Halloween, my little lambs." she smiles wistfully and stands with a swish of her cape, turns and walks down Main Street, humming to herself. "Man, who would've thought this event got so much popularity?" she broke character and looked around the area with sparkles in her eyes.
"It really feels like something special!" Grim agrees, skipping beside her. They had made it to the end of the street when three figures ran into them.
"Hey, it's Koebi-Chan and Azarashi-chan!" Floyd smiles. "Happy Halloween!"
"Hey, guys!" Charlie smiles back, removing the hood from her head and shaking her locks free.
"It's really growing onto me for some reason!" Grim chirps.
"Well, look at you two. All decked out for the occasion!" Ace nods, eyeing their getups.
"Can't believe you were worried about us being left out~!" Grim starts teasing the redhead. "No use tryna act so smug! Just continue basking in my presence and praise me for my greatness!"
"Hey, it's not like I'm worried about you or-hey, stop nuzzling me! You're gonna get cat hair on my clothes!" Ace tries to push him off.
'So...were you REALLY worried about us~?" Charlie joined in.
"Eh, Deuce and I were just talking to ourselves. Maybe bout how your Halloween would get boring or something...and where else did we stop to talk than the Ramshackle dorm? So, don't just thank me. The ghost trio got your costumes ready in time. Oh, cool! Cookies!" Ace dove a hand into the open basket in her hand and fished one out, munching on it happily. "Wow, that's a damn good cookie!" he spoke, spitting a few crumbs onto his shirt.
"Ne~, can I have one, Koebi-Chan?"
"Go ahead, Floyd. There's plenty to go around!" Charlie giggled. Floyd grins, snatching one from the basket and pops it into his mouth humming as he chews. Jamil decides to take one as well, takes a nibble out of it as he asked,
