"Come on, dorks." you said as you began walking across the bridge.

"I'm gonna get that girl, one day." Gordie stated as he and the other boys watched you.

"You wish, Lachance." Teddy rolled his eyes. "You've got no game when it comes to girls."

"Oh please-"

Chris tuned the continuous bickering of his two close friends, leaving them when Vern decided to jump in on the argument to join you on the tracks.

"What's up with them?" you asked as you looked back at the boys who were still arguing.

"They're just being a bunch of dorks." he replied with a shrug. "Nothing different."

You laughed at his statement before holding your hand out for Chris to take, asking, "So I don't fall off?"

"Not on my watch." he replied, taking your hand and helping you across the bridge.

"Since when was Chambers apart of this?" you heard Teddy questioned with a groan followed by his heavy footsteps stomping on the wood.
