Adams cheeks reddened as he quickly thought of an excuse for his eyes shamelessly watching you in cheer in the crowd. "The scouts, man. Look at 'em."
"Don't worry about scouts, Adam. Just play your best." Charlie said, waiting for some sort of reaction from Adam and when not reviving one, followed his line of vision to where you were sitting. "So it is a girl." Charlie smirked as Adam pulled his eyes off you.
"What? No. Girls are a distraction." Adam defended weakly, his eyes betraying his statement as they wondered back to you.
"Whatever you say, man." Charlie snickered.
