You and the gang were all at Phillip's team field competing to see who were the best baseball players. The gang was all having a good time messing with the team to make them lose focus. You could hear Ham's jokes and you were dying of laughter in the bleachers. Every time you caught Benny's eyes you'd smile and wave and the smile on his face grew wide and the rosy color of his tan cheeks was more apparent.

"Hey, how are you." You turned your head from the game to face Phillips in his playing suit and helmet in his hands. He leaned up against the railing in a "macho" manly way.

"Uhh hey... aren't you supposed to be playing?" You said pointing your finger to the field.

"I am, I am, but you looked so lonely and I couldn't let a cute girl like you hear all alone now could I." He smirked and smized with his eyes. Gross.

You rolled your eyes "Uhm yeah, I'm good, besides my friends are all here, I'm watching them play."

"Oh yeah, ham keeps mentioning a shaved butt or whatever." He rolled his eyes. The comment made you bust out laughing remembering all of Ham's hilarious jokes once again. Benny on the other hand, watched you from the field, laughing and Phillip chuckling. At what? He thought. He was furious.

"Hey Yo Phillips! Back OFF!" he said pointing his bat at him.

Phillips stayed put and shouted back, "OR WHAT RODRIGUEZ!" Benny walked towards you and Phillips, Bat in hand..

"OK Ok, i'll back off" Phillip raised his hands in defeat. He quickly ran off but Benny still came beside you.

"Are you okay? What the heck was that man, why were you laughing with him!" he asked with concern, but frustration still visible in his face.

"Yeah of course I am thanks, babe. But it was nothing he was talking about Ham's jokes. I was not laughing with him." You said pulling his arms to grab your waist.

"Never knew you had all this jealousy in you, Ben," you smirked

"I'm not jealous, he was just getting too close that's all." You giggled and pulled him in for a quick peck. "Don't you ever worry hun, You're stuck with me."

You decided to play a round of baseball while you were hanging out with smalls and the gang at the sandlot. You had the bat in your hand and got ready to hit the ball. As the ball was thrown, you swung.

"Sorry y/nn, I have the ball right here." Ham shook the ball in your face.

"Ughhh Man!" You groaned in frustration and slightly stomped your foot. Benny noticed this and decided to help.

"It's okay Y/n, here i'll show you." Benny said as he moved to your spot. He was teaching you how you could hit the ball and you listened closely. He finished, "So you think you got it?"

"Yes! I'm ready." You chirped with determination.

This time, you managed to hit the ball and it flew a great distance. You were filled with joy and ran to hug Benny.

"OMG BENNY THANK YOU! I DID IT!" You screamed jumping up and down.

The gang all cheered in support, but Smalls just stood there in un-noticeable shock. She hugged him. The moment stayed and replayed in his mind until everyone started heading home.

"Okay babe, walk me home?" You interrupted him and his thoughts.

"Sure." Smalls said

You and Smalls walked quietly to your house, completely unaware of Small's quietness.

"So do you like Benny?" Smalls broke the silence.

"What!" You halted making Smalls also stop with you. "Smalls, why would you say that?!" You asked, concerned now noticing how upset he looked.

"I mean i understand, h-he is really nice, kind, and good at baseball. I understand if you do like him...l-like him more than me." He spoke fast but you could still hear a small quiver in his voice.

"Smalls. Stop." You went to face him. "How could you say that?" He didn't respond and stayed quiet. This is when you realized why he was saying all this stuff.

"Smalls, babe, I didn't know that hug was going to bother you, I was just super excited and grateful that Benny helped me, but he could never replace you. Smalls you're perfect to me. Everything I ever wanted. No one can replace you." You were going to continue but Smalls surprised you and kissed you.

Y-yeah i guess it was pretty dumb of me to assume any of that." He started to get red in the face and started chuckling.

"Yeah it was, like I said, you're everything I ever wanted." You said kissing him once more.

You were having a blast with your boyfriend. Bertram and the gang as they watched you play a few rounds of baseball. They were all amazed at how fast you can run, not as fast as Benny of course. They were also amazed on how well you can hit and catch a ball. Your skills made the game more interesting and made their views on girls playing baseball change.

"Dang girl, you play so well." Benny came up to you and playfully bumped your shoulder.

"Of course, I freaking love baseball!" You responded

"Yeah yeah Well we are all glad you can play more often now." Yeah-yeah states. The gang all nod in agreement.

"Well im glad yall are cool, it's time for me to go home now though, bye guys. C'mon Bertram." You started slightly jogging towards the entrance and exit. You turned around and noticed Bertram following you but looked kind of down. He catched up to you.

"Uhm Babe what's up? Why do you look so down?" You asked, putting your arm around his tall shoulders.

"It's just, the whole time you were there... you d the boys could not stop talking to you or being amazed. I dont know its dumb or whatever." he said shaking his head in embarrassment. It took you a minute to process his words but when you did you couldn't help but giggle.

Bertram looked offended, "Wh-why are you laughing."

"Babe, I didn't know you were jealous! Aww Hun, don't worry! The boys were all excited and Obviously very surprised on how well I could play. Boy it felt good to, but them being happy for me is not flirting or me thinking i'm going to leave my boyfriend for them. Your all mine hun."

Bertram's face turned red, "Hehe I guess it was kind of dumb of me to be worried." He rubbed the back of his neck.

'I Don't know, i think it's kind of cute." You reached up and kissed his cheek, "Ok now take your girl home!"

It was the fourth of July and the neighborhood had a block party. You and Ham were enjoying the tasty treats and food that was being handed out. As you were eating, a random neighborhood boy had you caught in his eye.

"Hey, what's your name." He bashfully said. Ham was quick to notice the obvious interest the boy had in you. He stood in front of you interrupting your conversation. "Back off boy, She's taken." He pulled you away from the boy and you giggled. "What, why are you laughing?" Ham said, confused.

"Did not know you could be so jealous."

"I was not jealous! Besides that guy has no chance I mean c'mon look at me." He started to flex his arms and wiggle his eyebrows.

"Oh Ham, No one could ever."

"Omg tommy you're doing so well bud, i'm so proud of you!" You said clapping after his one home run. The gang also chimed and congratulated the small kid. He was certainly enjoying all the attention. Timmy on the other hand was puzzled at the fact you were not giving him any attention. He had 5 home runs! He has watched you support his little brother all day and not give him any attention at all except for when you arrived. How selfish is that!

"So like I dont know y/n are you not going to talk about the last 5 home runs I did" Timmy said with a small pout and his arms crossed around his chest like a kid.

"Of course babe you did so well!" You said but quickly turned your attention to Tommy. "Keep running bud you got this."

Tommy suddenly regrets his wish for a baby brother. You noticed His face of envy and decided to let him know what's up. You slowly pulled his face into yours for a kiss.

"Don't be jealous T, he's your little brother. You guys care about each other and I care about you a lot so of course i also have to think about your family." You said pushing his shoulder a bit teasingly.

"I guess I did get a little you know, jealous." Timmy said rubbing the back of his neck.

"You're so cute when you are though." You put your chin on his shoulder and looked up at him.

"If you want to see more, ignore me and encourage the whole team!" He said putting his arms around you, You both laughed. "I'm just kidding, don't do that."

Kenny decided to take you to another park instead of going to swim with the boys. You didn't mind since all you wanted to do was to spend more time together alone. You both were walking to a small park together bringing along one baseball and baseball mitt.

"I would like to play catch with you but if you throw me a heater, I will cry." You joked as you arrived at the little park.

"Don't worry babe, Just my kiddy throws I promise." He laughs.

It was a good 10 minutes of you throwing the ball back and forth to each other and conversing until it was annoyingly interrupted.

"Man that's not a throw! You're going to bore the cute girl." A random boy comes up next to you. "Move Aside hunny let me show you how a real man throws, HOPEFULLY I WON'T HURT YOU TOO MUCH FELLA." He gestured for you to move and winked. Gross.

You were going to tell him off, but Kenny quickly stopped you planning something better, "Hey y/n, its okay maybe he can teach me something. I am REALLY rustyyy." And his last words made you realize he was being sarcastic and had a plan. You had to stop yourself from giggling.

You watched the boys throw back and forth a few times, not realizing the kids was using the strongest force he could.

"Woww you were right, you can throw." You said sarcastically

"You know it babe." He Winked and smirked cockily. It was hard to resist the urge to roll your eyes.

Kenny did not like the wink he gave you and so he threw his powerful heater.

"OOWEE!!! What the heck man! You could have broken my hand or something!." He screamed, shaking his hand in pain. Me and Kenny bursted out laughing and the boy ran off in embarrassment.

"You caught him by surprise, shoot, you caught me off!." You walked up to him.

"It was the Wink he gave you hun, ain't know other Boy buttering up MY GIRL." he said sternly yet playfully.

"Love it when you're jealous."

The hot summer days have pulled you and the gang to more pool days a few times a week. So here you were playing and having fun with the gang and your lovely man, Squints. The constant swimming and playing made you parched so you swam out of the pool to find some water.

"Ima go get water!" You shouted while lifting yourself out of the pool. The gang heard and gave the thumbs up before again going back to their playful water wrestling.

You found the water fountain and sipped the water for a long minute or two.

"Don't worry babe, I got ALLLLLLL day." You turned around and saw a random boy look somewhat annoyed but then his attitude quickly changed. "Oh wow, my bad take your time I don't mind." He had a bashful tone. You rolled your eyes and went back to sipping the fresh cold water. The boy then went to the side of the fountain.

"The name is Jerry, you're real cute!"

"Yeah, she is! But sadly she is T A K E N!" Squints quickly came to your rescue. "Back off man!" Squints leaps into the boy's face to intimidate him and well it worked, the boy quickly walked away.

"Awwww Hunnnn, I love it when you get jealous," you said hugging his chest.

"PFFF ME, no no that was not jealousy, I was just mad he was talking to MY GIRL" he puffed his chest. You stared at him teasingly.

"I guess I was a little jealous."

You and Yeah-yeah decided to walk into town together to get a baseball for the boys and a few pops for the both of you.

"Hey babe I'll head in and you can wait out here just so I can come out fast and not get distracted. I don't want you to be lonely too long." he winked and leaned in for a peck.

You pecked his cheek and giggles, "Well go on don't keep me waiting." He ran inside.

Yeah-yeah got everything he needed and was at the cash register, but then he saw two boys there, talking to you obviously looking like they were flirting with you since they had those ugly smirks on their faces. He quickly paid the clerk and ran straight out of the store.

"Well since I don't see no boyfriend of yours around, he probably won't care if I can take you out on a date."

Before you could answer Yeah-yeah quickly steps in, "Uhm yeah yeah he'll definitely care. And he'll kick both your asses if you don't leave her alone." Yeah-yeah looked scary when he was angry. Intimidating enough to make the boys quickly walk away without a word. He sat down next to you and handed you a pop. You stared at him with awe but he was too embarrassed to face you.

"I love it when you're jealous you get so tough and handsome." You said putting your face in his neck.

"Yeah yeah Well I don't want no ugly boys getting close to you, you're mine." He said. He kissed you passionately.

"Yup jealous Yeah-yeah is in top 3." You giggled and you both began your walk back to the sandlot.

You and the gang all went to the fair and so you invited your boyfriend, Phillips. You both went on almost every ride together. By the end of the day you felt very hungry.

"Hey phillip, are you hungry? Cause I don't know about you but i'm starving." You said slightly rubbing your tummy.

"Of course babe, what do you want i'll get you whatever you want." he said eagerly looking for his pocket money. Your heart fluttered and you pecked his cheek, "Maybe just a cotton candy for now." Before he could run off, Benny popped a cotton candy in front of you.

"Here you can have this one, Smalls said he didn't feel well and so he didn't want it." He said gesturing to Small as you saw him tightly grab his stomach and mouth as he tried to fight off his urge to puke.

"Gee poor smalls, but thanks Ben!" you said happily grabbing the cotton candy. Phillips did not know why but Benny's kindness got under his skin. I was going to get her something. He brushed it off.

All day each member of the boys managed to do something nice before Phillip could do it. Bring you food, Bring your drinks, Win you a few stuffed animals, or even helped you win a few carnival games. Phillips hated it! Luckily his frustration was not easily hidden.

"What's wrong philly?" You grew with concern. "Nothing babe, it's just..." he stayed quiet resisting to confess but looked at you and your concern and bursted, "It's just I want to do the nice cute boyfriend things but your friends are stealing my light and now I Didn't get you food, or drinks or win you that pretty pink-" You cut him off by kissing him. He seemed to relax under your lips.

"Phillip, you seem to forget that these are my friends! They are all like my brothers and I'm like their little sister. They want to make me happy because they care about me. I'm their family you silly goose." You giggled and slightly shoved his side playfully. "But to make you less jealous, there is this really cute stuffed animal I had my eyes on since we first arrived, want to win it for me?" You teasingly wiggled your eyebrows at him.

"I'm not jealous pfff, But where is this Animal!" You giggled and led him to the booth, his hand in yours.
