Eliza POV

Again as yesterday. Lola force me here at the sandlot. Luckily the boys weren't as mean as yesterday. I was writing another song about Benny. I swear I need a life.

"Back at it again" I heard a voice behind and I turn around and saw Yeah Yeah

"Yep" I nod my head

"Well the song of yesterday was good. So is this one as good " Yeah Yeah asked

"Hope so" I replied

"Can I see " Yeah Yeah asked sitting next to me

"Sure" I hand him the paper and he look over

"Wow you could be a professional writer " Yeah Yeah told me

"Well thanks " I blush

"So you play Baseball " Yeah Yeah asked

"Um used to " I replied

"If you don't mind why not " Yeah Yeah asked shyly

"Well my brother and me use go play baseball but he pass away seven years ago. I thought that if he can't play baseball anymore why should I" I said uncomfortable

"That sucks" Yeah Yeah said sadly

"It doesn't matter" I just continue to write

"Why don't you play for him" Yeah Yeah suddenly said after a couple of seconds of silent.

"What" I look up at him

"If he can't be here to continue to play and you don't want to play without him. Then play for him. Just imagine that he got be away for a couple of years resting from all the playing he did but you are playing for him." Yeah Yeah said

"Never really thought of that"I told him quietly

"So what do you said." Yeah Yeah looked hopeful

I just bit my bottom lip and sigh

"What the hell. Fine" I said putting my stuff in my bag and putting on the bench.

"Guys Eliza got play." Yeah Yeah yell out and everyone just stops and stare at me. Yeah Yeah pull me towards Benny

"Let's see what you got " Benny smile and gives me the bat.

I get in position and nod at DeNunez that I'm ready. When he throw the ball. I hit it out of the field and I started to run. When I got to home again. Lola ran to me and picks me up . When she puts me back on the ground. Everyone hug me.

"Wow Eliza that was a amazing hit" DeNunez said in shocked

"Thanks" I said shyly

"Nah don't get on shy on us again." Benny said picking me and swinging around.

"Eliza"Lola said coming up to tearing up. I just hug her

"You were amazing as always" Lola whispered in my ear.

"Thanks Lola " I pull away.

"Well boys my best friend just made a come back of baseball. I'm celebrating with her. So goodbye " Lola pull me away and started running. I ran with her. We pick Sabrina from her house. And we went out to eat ice cream. I guess it was nice talking to my two best friends. I feels nice knowing that I can play baseball again and not feel bad.
