I was woke up by Lola running into my room and jumping in my bed. She literally force some clothes on me.
"You ready Eliza"Lola asked me as we were walking up to sandlot
"No" I pouted and Lola force me into the sandlot
"Losers I brought my friend Eliza with me"Lola yell as all the boys came over
"Why" the dark skin asked
"Because I want to and plus she not got be a problem" Lola just sigh
I just want to disappear. All the guys were looking at me like Im doing something wrong.
"So we are play or you got stand there and judge my friend " Lola snap her fingers
"Whatever" one of them said and another one repeat
"She can sit in the dugout. If she likes." Benny told Lola and Lola just nod
"Now are you sure that you don't want to play."Lola looked at me
"I'm fine. I have my bag here and I just write my songs" I told her
"Babe I had seen you play before. You're good. Nobody have seen you play since Lupito die. And don't lie that you don't play anymore. I have seen you in your backyard" Lola beg me
"I don't want continue playing if he can't do the same " I told her
"Well if you ever during the day want to play. Just give me the sign" Lola walked away
I just sat down and continue to write. That how the whole day went. I really did wanted to play. But I can't bring myself to do it.
"Hey Eliza"Lola sat next to me
"Hi" I replied to her
"You were good Lola" I learn their names but I still forget it. So I'm guess Bertram said
"Thanks boys ,Eliza here is also good" Lola pat my back and I got look at her giving my famous look of please don't bring the spotlight on me

"Really why don't you play Eliza" Smalls asked me
"That a story for a another time boys" Lola said before I could said anything
"Why"Ham asked
"Well don't you love asking questions but it's not of your business " Lola roll her eyes
"Well you can come and play with us if you ever want to. I bet the bench isn't so fun" Benny said before any of the boys could said anything
"Thanks" I said quietly
"Well boys it was a fun day but I promise this one that we would go and pick up my other best friend." Lola stand up and I follow her lead after picking up my stuff.
"Really what's her name"Smalls asked
"Sabrina" Lola said and I just hit my head
"You mean the girl that is dating Phillips" Bertram asked
"Look he is dick but she is not. So back off" Lola cross her arms
"Alright then" Ham said breaking the ice
"Let's go"I pull Lola away so we can leave the sandlot before Lola can said anything else
