the one where Matt turns psycho
[ S2 0.6 ]
thought she couldn't hate Matt more than she already did, what with him stalking her and all, but then he shot her. Right through the stomach. Excruciatingly painful.
When Eleanor chose to join Scott, Stiles and the Sheriff in trying to solve the murders around the Beacon Hills Town, she did not expect to be held at gunpoint by one of her fellow peers. With Stiles on the floor with her two brothers, paralysed, Sheriff handcuffed to the railing and Melissa in a holding cell, Scott seemed to be only one available to comfort her. And even that didn't happen.
Matt had ordered Scott to stand still and threatened to shoot the girl again if he made another move to help the poor werewolf, and so, he stood in his place, desperate.
"She needs to see a doctor." Melissa croaked, her eyes focused on the blood seeping from Eleanor's wound.
Matt smiled deviously. "You think so?"
"Scott, Stiles, Jaden, what happened?" Noah called from the other room. Nobody wanted to tell him.
"It's alright," Eleanor stuttered, her lips turning into a tight lipped smile to offer Melissa comfort. "I'm okay."
The mother's lip trembled. "No, sweetheart, you're not."
"It doesn't hurt." The werewolf tried, gritting her teeth as she tried to avoid the looks she was receiving from the three boys on the floor. They were terrified for her.
"That's the adrenaline, honey, okay?" Melissa turned to look at Matt cluelessly. "Please let me take a look. I mean, I can help stop the bleeding."
Matt grinned foolishly and turned to both Eleanor and Scott stood beside him, Eleanor held at gunpoint and Scott's arm in Matt's hand. "They really have no idea."
"Please - just let me take a look-"
"Shut up lady!" Matt roared, gripping Scott tighter as he moved the direction of the gun ever so slightly. "Or I'm gonna put the next bullet through his head."
The threat seemed to feed Matt's requirements of making Melissa stop talking and for a second, all you could hear was the slight change in Eleanor's breathing. Then, the gun was pointed back to her, and Matt shoved Scott forward.

"Back to the front, McCall. You too, Hale."
Once back to the front, things seemed a little more fast paced than before. Scott managed to push Matt to tell the two werewolves why he wanted the bestiary so badly, to which he showed the both of them the scales growing up his side and back. Eleanor grimaced, turning her head away.
"You know, I feel sorry for you Hale," Matt pondered, grinning deviously. "Because right now, you're thinking 'how the hell am I going to explain this when it heals'? And the sad part is, you don't even realise how incredible it is that you're actually healing. 'Cause you know what happens to everyone else when they get shot? They die."
Scott leant forward, intrigued. "Is that what happened to you? You drowned, didn't you?"
And thus, Matt finally shed light on what had happened, and told them the story of Isaac Lahey's father coaching the swim team and the team mates throwing him in the pool, consequently drowning him due to his lack of swimming lessons and skills. He proceeded to tell them about how he took pictures of the people he hated, and then a few hours later they turned up dead. Matt seemed to relish in the fact that he could do such powerful things with Jackson, he even smiled as he told them of how the mechanic at Stiles' garage died.
But the stories stopped there as they heard gunfire and the sound of people breaking into the building. From then on, Eleanor could tell things we're getting serious.
"What - what the hell is this? What's happening? What's going on?"
He lunged to grab Scott, shaking his shoulders as Scott looked around in wonder, shaking his head frantically. "I don't know."
The room started filing with smoke, from what the werewolves could only assume from experience was a self igniting smoke detonator that hunters used. Instead of thinking about the possibilities of the Argent's being in the building, Eleanor took this time to slip out of Matt's grip and pull Scott away with her.
They moved quickly into a different room, Scott wrapping an arm around Eleanor to support her as they looked around frantically. They were trying to find the parents, Stiles and Eleanor's two brothers before anything happened to them. Considering neither Sheriff and Melissa knew anything about the supernatural, and hunters were currently attacking, they needed to reach them fast and act quickly.

However, before they could so much as move another step, they bumped into someone that Eleanor certainly did not want to see. And the girl in front of them was on a mission to kill, the young Hale could tell that much.
Subconsciously, Eleanor looked around her for Derek, knowing exactly what the Argent's were now planning. After Eleanor and Scott experienced near death due to Victoria Argent and Derek bit the woman to ensure Scott and Eleanor's safety, the Hale knew exactly what would follow next for the older Argent's future. She would have none.
Eleanor knew their code, and she knew that it would be a cold day in hell before an Argent allowed themselves to be turned into a werewolf. They despised the species. And so, Eleanor presumed that Victoria had passed away.
This wouldn't have been a problem if Allison didn't blame Derek for her death. And so, as Allison's scowl stayed prominent on her face, and Scott reached out to grab her and question her, Eleanor knew she had to find her brother. And quickly.
She left Allison and Scott, shooting the Argent a deathly stare as if to warn her of staying away from the Hale family, and limped into the room holding the parents, her two brothers and Stiles. Sheriff gasped at the sight of a bullet impaled into a fresh wound on her abdomen, but Eleanor forced herself toward her brothers before anybody could say anything.
She could see that slowly, Jaden and Derek's hands has started to move, and their legs were twitching as they began to try and sit up. Eleanor smiled sadly at Stiles and sat him up against the wall, smiling at him reassuringly as he stared at her wound.
"Don't." She warned him, shooting him a pointed look as he sighed. "Don't worry about me. The Argent's are here, and I have a feeling Allison is after Derek."
Without an explanation, she finished speaking and helped Derek to his feet, pushing him away and toward the back door of the station as her and Jaden stood their ground. The elder Hale furrowed his eyebrows in confusion when he found they weren't following him.
"Go! Eleanor and I will hold them off, you just need to get as far away as possible."
Derek hesitated, earning a look of disbelief and a stare that could send him to hell from his two siblings, before he ran in the opposite direction and out of the Sheriff station. While he was in action, Eleanor leaned forward and threw the key to his handcuffs at Noah, who sighed in relief and unchained himself to the wall.
Without so much as a pause, he drew his gun and aimed it into the smoke. Eleanor shook her head, told him to keep low, and to stay away from danger. She urged him to take refugee in his office while she attempted to free Melissa from her holding cell.
However, before she could do any such thing, Allison was stood in the doorway, bow and arrow drawn and face full of fire. It seemed they had forgotten that Melissa was entirely clueless about the supernatural, because in that moment, all anyone cared about was protecting the ones they loved.
"Where is he?" She demanded, slowly stepping closer to the twins who shook their head immediately.
Eleanor almost laughed. "Like we'd tell you."
"Tell me." Allison growled, her voice full of anger. "Or I'm going to have to force it out of you."
"You'd love that, wouldn't you? But if you want to kill Derek, you're going to have to kill me first. You are not taking the only family I have left."
Allison curled her lip in disgust. "You're making this more complicated than it needs to be."
"You're family have done this too many times, you should know by now that we're not going down without a fight." Jaden argued, feeling himself become angrier as Allison continued to speak.
If Allison wanted to kill Derek, she was going to have to go through his siblings first.

Summoned
“Per aspera ad astra." Death. Mercilessly, it comes for all. But when a young man is given a second chance – a second life – to experience what he never has, what will he do? Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***
