"pleaded, trying to walk backward as he stared at Eleanor, desperately trying to convince her to talk to Allison who was stood a mere three metres away from them.

"Scott, she is right across the hall, why can't you go and say hi?" Eleanor questioned, narrowing her eyes at the brunette as he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest as Eleanor, Jaden and Stiles followed him to his locker.

"Because, you're a girl. You can go and talk about, i don't know, girly things."

She scoffed at his statement, pushing him lightly. "Stop being sexist."

"Whatever, just go and talk to her?"

Groaning, Eleanor glared at her best friend, departing from the group as she made her way over to where Allison was standing, searching through her locker for various school supplies. Upon reaching her, she tapped her shoulder, causing the curly brunette to turn around, smiling at Eleanor's appearance.

"I know we spoke earlier, but I just wondered if you wanted to hang out for a bit? Lacrosse try outs are in ten minutes, if you would like to join me?"

Allison's grin widened as she shut her locker. "That would be great! Thank you,"

"That jacket is absolutely killer!" Before Eleanor could reply, Lydia Martin had jumped in on the conversation, grabbing at Allison's material in amazement. "Where did you get it?"

"Oh, my mum was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco." She admitted politely as Lydia nodded to herself, almost in confirmation.

"And you, are my new best friend." Allison laughed quietly, watching as Jackson Whittemore made an appearance next to both her and Eleanor, smothering Lydia in an abundance of french kisses.

While this was happening, Eleanor decided to listen in on the conversation the boys were having with a pretty brunette stood beside them. "Can someone tell me how the two new girls have been here all of five minutes and they're already hanging around with the Lydia Martin?"

She scoffed quietly at the girls rude tone but Eleanor's frown faded into a bright smile upon hearing Stiles' reply. "Cause they're hot. Beautiful people herd together."

Jaden growled lowly, smacking his friend on the back of the head as he glanced over at Eleanor and Allison. "Dude, that's my sister!"

"Hey, there's a party Friday night, you should totally come! Both of you." The strawberry blonde eyed the two as Eleanor coughed, looking up to meet Lydia's gaze, gobsmacked by her words.

"Uh, what, me?" She smiled, laughing at the surprised girl.

"Yes, you!"

"Uh, I have family night on Friday, i'll have to pass." The skip of Allison's heartbeat made Eleanor aware of her new friends lie, but she brushed it off, knowing better than to bring it up in conversation.

"Oh." A disappointment sigh fell from her lips before she bit her bottom lip. "Well then, how about you come and watch the scrimmage?"

Before Allison could reject, Lydia squeaked, tugging both her and Eleanor toward the field, saying a quick goodbye to Jackson before following the variety of people trying to make themselves comfortable on the bleachers.

As Eleanor's bottom hit the metal bench, she let out a quiet squeak, realising just how cold they were. Nonetheless, she braved the icy feeling and turned to the two girls she had been aquatinted with, smiling lightly.

"So, what are your names? I'm Lydia," Eleanor was surprised by the girls sweet tone considering she had heard so many distasteful things about her.

"Uh, well i'm Eleanor!"

Lydia smiled. "Nice name! Mind if I call you Ella?"

"Sure."

"And i'm Allison."

Lydia nodded, grinning at the two. "Well, I have a feeling we'll be great friends."

The two others nodded in agreement with her words, watching as the lacrosse boys filed out of the school and on to the field in front of them. Eleanor grinned at the sight of both her brother and Scott on the field, proud that they were encouraging each other to make first line.

Her eyes landed on Stiles a few seconds afterward, allowing a giggle to leave her lips as he nearly fell off the bench he was attempting to sit on. "I'm just going to say hi to my friends, i'll be back soon."

Allison and Lydia nodded, smiling at her as she stood up, making her way down the steps and onto the grass, plopping herself down on the bench, next to her buzzcut friend as he shrieked in shock, making Eleanor laugh even more than she already was.

"Jesus Nora, don't do that!" She grinned at his panicked state and leaned against him as she shrugged, raising an eyebrow.

"Thought you didn't like shortening my name Stilinski?" She challenged, laughing as he groaned, realising what he'd done.

"I didn't even mean to do that! Besides, you shouldn't shorten such a beautiful name."

She blushed at his confession, although knowing he was joking. "Now, why are you over here?"

"I overheard that you had no one to sit next to now that both Jaden and Scott are trying out for first line. I figured that you could use some company," She replied as he nodded his head, turning his head to look at where Eleanor was previously sitting with Allison and Lydia.

"Perfect! That'll give us time to talk about how you became friends with Lydia freaking Martin in the space of five minutes!" He exclaimed, his eyes widening in astonishment as Eleanor tried to hold back the groan forming in her throat.

Instead, for the sake of Stiles and his obsessive desire for the strawberry blonde, she smiled, waving to her two friends. "Well, she had an eye for Allison's jacket. I think she felt required to include me in the conversation, I doubt she'd ever talk to me again. Besides, I've got my three boys to worry about."

Stiles blushed at her words but wrapped an arm around the brunette, his eyes widening when they both caught Scott's eye whom had apparently been made to play goal. The buzzcut boy cursed at the sight of their friend in between the two posts and Eleanor sighed, standing up, away from Stiles' touch.

"I'm going to try and fix this. It'll be a disaster." He nodded at her words, pushing her towards the coach as she grinned.

"Hey coach." Eleanor mocked as his attention averted to the young girl, his grin widening as he narrowed his eyes at the familiar face.

"My god, are you going to do that all the time?"

"Maybe, I'm trying it out. It has a nice ring to it." She wriggled her eyebrows at him as he rolled his eyes.

"Oh come on El! I was your guardian, this is weird for me."

Eleanor laughed at his words, standing beside him as she watched the boys get into their positions on the field, lining up to score against Scott. "Look, can you just do me a favour? Considering I was your favourite child?"

She batted her eyelids jokingly as he blew the whistle, making her wince at the loud sound. "I'm not moving McCall from the goal. Now go sit next to Stiles before I change my mind and make you sit on the bleachers instead."

She groaned irritably and dragged her feet across the grass, back to the bench before falling next to Stiles who held a hopeful expression. "He's not moving Scott."

His grin resided into a somber glare as he crossed his arms and huffed, watching as the first player took a running start, swinging his stick to release the ball the flew through the air, hitting Scott in the face. Eleanor winced as the brown eyed boy fell to the floor, meeting the gaze of Jaden whom had also just watched the scene prior to Scott's injury where he had squirmed upon hearing the whistle.

The students on the field and the bleachers threw their heads back in laughter at the sight, including Finstock as Scott groaned, picking himself up, gripping onto his stick. This time, he looked determined and focused, and Eleanor grinned as yet another boy swung the ball towards the newly bitten, allowing him to catch the ball with his stick in one swift movement.

Stiles gaped in shock at the boy while both her and Jaden merely raised an eyebrow, watching as he began to build his excitement for Scott. "Yeah!"

"He seems to be a really good player." Allison's voice infiltrated Eleanor's mind and she glanced behind her to see the gorgeous girl talking to Lydia.

"Yeah." She admitted. "Very good."

One after another, the players tried to score goals in the net behind Scott, however he wouldn't let any of them through, with the exception of Jaden whom has also used his heightened senses and powers to score.

After six of the boys had tried and failed to score against Scott, Jackson made his way to the front of the line, his glare toward their friend a prominent feature upon his face. Scott cursed under his breath upon seeing the team captain but tightened his grip on his stick as everybody stared ahead, awaiting for somebody to make a move.

Jackson made a powerful running start, jumping in the air before letting the ball fly from his net, toward Scott whom caught it in his own, earning a cheer from nearly everyone on the field.

Both Eleanor and Stiles jumped up from the bench, screaming in excitement before looking at each other and laughing at their similar movements. However, their attention averted to both Lydia and Allison as they too jumped up from their seats, cheering their friend on, shocking both Eleanor and Stiles whom were both convinced that Lydia would be infuriated about Jackson's failed attempt at shooting.

"Alright, alright! That's enough practising for today, go home!" Coach jeered, eyeing Jackson who began breathing heavily out of anger toward Scott.

Each boy who had attempted and failed to score against the floppy haired boy began staring at him suspiciously, sighing in dismay as both he and Jaden fist bumped, making their way over to Eleanor and Stiles whom both held proud grins.

"Scott! What the hell? When did you get so good at lacrosse?" Stiles rambled, pulling his best friend closer to him as Eleanor giggled, trying her best to forget her knowledge of the situation and join in on Stiles' banter.

"Yeah, at this rate, you'll be named team captain before Lydia Martin realises the mistake she's made by befriending me." She joked as Jaden crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow at his sister.

"Oh yeah, how did that happen exactly?"

Eleanor laughed. "I honestly have no clue. But she'll drop me soon, she won't want to be seen with little old me."

Stiles looked toward her with a frown and she sighed, remembering his unfortunate crush on the strawberry blonde. "But, I suppose i could try and talk you up to her? Get her to like you?"

"Are you serious? You would do that?" Her smile faultered slightly but she covered it with a cough, nodding and avoiding eye contact with the other two boys, knowing that they wouldn't agree with her gesture.

"That'd make you my best friend until death do us part." He freaked, waving his arms in the air before pulling her into a hug.

The two other lacrosse team mates raised their eyebrows at Eleanor as she shrugged in his grip, looking toward them with a dull look in her ocean eyes. They grimaced at Eleanor as she attempted to smile at the situation, trying to ignore the fact that her heart hurt at the thought of Stiles being with anybody but her.

"Uh, although this would be the perfect opportunity to run off without her, me and Elle have to get back to Derek's before he realises we're home from school late and sends out a search party for us." Jaden interrupted as Stiles turned a deep red, releasing her from his grip as she laughed, nodding at her twin in agreement.

"Yeah, of course. See you tomorrow, yeah? Might even see you tonight." They both raised plucked eyebrows at Scott's words.

"Tonight?"

"Yeah, me and Stiles are going into the preserve to look for my inhaler. I dropped and lost it after that encounter with the monster that attacked me."

Jaden and Eleanor tried their hardest to play dumb, Jaden speaking up so that Eleanor wouldn't slip up and tell the truth. She was a terrible liar. "Ah alright then, see you later on."

Stiles said the same before adding, "Let me know when you're home so i know you're safe."

They both said goodbye before departing from their friends, rushing towards the Mercedes that they had left in the parking lot that morning. As they opened the doors and slid into the vehicle, Jaden turned on the radio, trying to ignore the stares he and Eleanor were receiving from their peers. Instead, they shut the doors, making it impossible for students to see inside of the black out car.

The twins clicked their seat belts into place and switched on the engine, making the car roar to life as they sped through the parking lot and down the road, following the installed GPS that took them back home. It was silent at first. Neither of them knew what to say to one another about the day's eventful criteria. They were both nervous and worried to speak out it, as if speaking about it would only make the situation more real.

After ten minutes of silence, the car radio being the only factor of sound throughout the car, they came to a hault outside the remains of the Hale house, wincing as they saw their older brothers car. Derek was home.

They closed their doors behind them, rushing to one of the many trees in the preserve as Eleanor began pacing the muddy floor. "What the hell do we tell him?"

Jaden sighed in dismay. "We could lie?"

"We have to tell him the truth. It's the only plausible option in this situation. Scott's a werewolf Jade, you could literally smell it from miles away. And he's a newly transformed puppy, meaning he has no clue in the slightest about what the hell he is." Eleanor ranted, stressing out as Jaden nodded his head in agreement.

"Well then, I guess we need to go in and get it over with then."

They both frowned each other, looking toward the house nervously, slowly withdrawing from the car as they made their way through the front door and into the living room where Derek was seated, looking through what looked to be old photographs of him and their family.

Eleanor winced at the thought of disrupting his reminiscing and attempted to back away, however Jaden cleared his throat loudly before she could escape. Derek's eyes flickered to his siblings, shutting the lid to the memorable box quickly before moving toward the kitchen, pushing the box under a cupboard with haste.

Neither of them decided to comment on this, instead feeling unsteady and nervous for what they were about to tell him. Derek eyed the two, knowing something was wrong. "Okay, what the hell did you do?"

Jaden rolled his eyes, leaning against the unstable counter as he faced his older brother. "It's not what we did, it's what somebody else did."

"What do you mean?" Derek's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, his eyes no longer holding the playful look in his eye that normally occurred during a conversation with his two siblings.

"Someone's been turned into one of us." Jaden stated bluntly, causing an eyeroll from Eleanor and a gasp from Derek's lips.

The broody elder tried pulling pieces of information together to connect the puzzle, but he was drawing blanks. "What?"

"Scott, our friend, he was turned last night. He came to school this morning and we could tell, we could tell he was a werewolf."

The room fell silent, letting the words paint the air with Eleanor's precise tone, her British accent contrasting from Derek's American. The silence consumed the three family members as Derek tried grasping the new information he had just received. His faced twisted between anger and frustration as he groaned, looking at his sister intently.

"I want to see him!"

Demanding, he began breathing heavily. Jaden knew that the reason he was so angry was because they were coming about new information left right and centre and the pieces they had been encountering weren't fitting together. They were already trying to find the missing Alpha that was their sister and did not need a new beta as a responsibility none of them were willing to handle.

Well, that was with the exception of Eleanor. She'd known Scott for what seemed like her whole life, but unlike Jaden, she wanted to help him in anyway possible. And if that meant training him and easing him into his new werewolf lifestyle then she would happily oblige.

"Alright, Scott said he and Stiles were planning on finding his inhaler so if you want to-"

Without so much as a glance over his shoulder, Derek took off through the front door and into the preserve, rushing to find the twins' friends'. Eleanor groaned in annoyance, picking up the forgotten inhaler on the counter before running after her older brother, leaving Jaden by himself in the house.

Eleanor caught up to her brother as he began telling the two boys off, staring at Scott with a wild look in his chestnut brown eyes. "This is private property!"

"Since when has the preserve been 'private property'? C'mon Der, loosen up a bit!" She pursed her lips at the older boy, rolling her eyes at his glare as Scott and Stiles widened their eyes.

"Yeah, we were just looking for my inhaler but-"

Eleanor gasped, pulling out the inhaler from her pocket. "Oh god, yeah, I totally forgot to give this to you! Jade and I found it out here earlier on the way home from school." She threw the object into the air and landed it perfectly in Scott's hands.

"Der, would you mind if I.. And you're already gone." Eleanor stated as Stiles chuckled, looking toward Derek who had begun to walk back toward the house.

"I have to get to work, I'll see you two later, okay?" They both shrugged, nodding their heads as he took off in the direction of Stiles' jeep, the keys dangling in his hands.

"Wait a secon- Scott!" He yelped in dismay, knowing that Scott was stealing his jeep to get to work and groaned as Eleanor placed an hand on his shoulder.

"El?" She shrieked upon hearing Derek, thinking that he had gone inside the house instead of standing in front of it. "If you're taking him home, stay there for a while? Me and Jaden are going to visit Peter."

She nodded ever so slightly, appreciating that he didn't force her to go with them. Her uncle Peter put her on edge and scared her. She knew that he was family, and that he was the only member to survive the Hale fire, but something about him had given Eleanor chills every time she payed a visit to him.

"You can stay at mine for while? I need to speak to you about some things anyway." He suggested as she agreed, giving Derek a quick hug and Jaden a wave before unlocking the car with the keys held in her hand, clambering into the vehicle as Stiles did the same.
