《Stuck in Between (Reaper!Sans X Reader)》~Epilouge~

"(Y/N) (L/N), born to the mortal world. You have proven yourself in your actions, and presented before us Gods by fate. A demon known by the name Entropy offered to Death your life and security in exchange for his scythe. In the interests of the world and of humility, you took your own Death farther and took away Entropy's only advantage. In doing so, allowing Death to dispose of her.
This selfless act not only saved the mortal world, but the world of gods as well. As your reward, I now present to you a title as an immortal among us. I present to you all, Guardian of worlds and Patron of Protection, the Godess (Y/N)!"
Thunderous applause surrounded you as you kneeled before Asgore. When you turned, rows upon rows of ancient gods clapped for you. And in the front row was your very reasoning for your actions that sainted you, Death. He applauded you vigorously before ascending the stairs and hugging you closely. You laughed joyously as you clung to him.
You looked to Asgore and he smiled sweetly raising a fancy looking goblet and proclaiming, "Tonight we celebrate!"

"Seriously?!" You gasped. "Hades was a spy that entire time?!"
The man you'd just met laughed nervously, holding a taller glass of what you hoped was just water. "I'm sorry (Y/N)... us crows are weak to Death. But I did truly enjoy our time on Earth."
"I'm glad! But, uh, didn't you see me naked?" You asked.
Hades blushed and averted his eyes while chuckling awkwardly. "Don't worry Lady (Y/N), I closed my eyes when that happened."
Death seemed to be more irritated by that topic, making you giggle. "Sadly, I will no longer remember once I return to being a crow. My task is finished." He said glumly.

"What?" You hummed.
"I forget these times when I am wild. Only when Death has given me a task do I recall." Hades explained.
"Oh..." You mused. "May I give you a task then?"
Hades looked at Death breifly, who nodded. "Ask away m'lady."
"Could you please watch Frisk for me? Make sure he's okay?" You requested.
Hades smiled. "Of course."
You smiled. Death took your wrist in his hand and began to tug. You glanced his way and giggled. "Sorry Hades, I gotta follow Death for something. We can talk later. Goodbye!"
"Goodbye Lady (Y/N)." Hades saluted, promptly reverting to a bird and disappearing.
You waved as he left, then turned to follow Death. He led you away from the celebration. Your eyes swallowed the view desperately, the world of the god being the most beautful thing you'd ever known.
"It's so beautiful here." You sighed. "I wish Frisk could see it."
"He'd have to be dead to see it." Death said frankly.
"Oh... maybe in a few decades then..." you joked.
Death chuckled as he took you to a railing. The stone railing was tall, overlooking the peak of Mt. Ebott and seeming to go on for miles. You sighed again as you looked over the millions of miles and thought about your part in the world. "Do you think he'll be okay?" You asked.
"Frisk? Yeah, he can handle himself. The question is can the world handle him." Death teased.
You laughed. Your eyes trailed over the expanse, then swiveled to look at Death. His eyes were already on you and you blushed, looking away quickly. "So, how long have you had a thing for me?" He asked, trying to sound cocky.

"How much longer did you have a thing for me?" You countered, elbowing him gently.
You both laughed, looking back out at the mortal world. You felt lively again. It was nice to have a body that was warm and not slowly dying. Surprisingly, you'd forgotten what that was like. "We should visit Life soon." You suggested, being quieter so not to alarm the other gods you knew where she was.
"Just instated and you already wanna break rules?" Death asked.
"What can I say? You're a bad influence." You whipped. "But hey, maybe I'll start rubbing off on you too."
"Maybe." Death hummed. "After all, we have all of eternity to do it. Well, at least as long as no AU pyschos try to ruin everything. But what's the likelyhood of that happening?"
You snorted. "As if that would ever happen."

Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

Meanwhile, Lucas Bennett, an anxiety-ridden software engineer, is contracted by the leading artificial intelligence corporation in the US to decipher the inner workings of their flagship AI that have become incomprehensible even to themselves, a job that he is very invested in since he considers technology the solution to his personal as well as mankind’s timeless problems. Unknown to the public at large, the CEO of the company is bent on unleashing the full capabilities of that AI to handle every single aspect of society and individual lives. When all hell breaks loose, the two men and those close to them team up to survive and fight back against the horde of vehicular attackers and the Intelligence behind them while also clashing together over their views: is artificial intelligence a way to humanity’s salvation or doom?
