Sans pov

I wake up and fall on the floor I look over to Papyrus's bed and it's made and tidy I had a uneasy feeling about today I hear a loud clang from down stairs and go down to investigate

I hide in the shadows and peak around the corner Papyrus is over at the oven making his famous spaghetti but dropped one of the pots lucky it didn't have anything in it

He turns to pick it up but trips I use my magic to stop him from hitting the ground and pick up the pot he stares at my magic in wonder he stands up straight and looks to the doorway a giant smile spreads across his face

"GOOD MORNING SANS" he said and gives me a hug a freeze for a moment before returning the hug back to him smiling he's been more happy since I've been back

"Morning pap how's the spaghetti coming along" I say and take a seat on a stool by the counter his head perks up at the mentioning of spaghetti

"WELL SANS I THE GREAT PAPYRUS AM MAKING MY A VERY SPECIAL PLATE OF MY FAMOUS SPAGHETTI TO CELEBRATE YOUR RETURN" he says mixing the ingredients together

"That's nice bro ive missed your cooking" I say his was always the best spaghetti ever Undyne was teaching him how to make it but kept burning her house down so I got muffet to show him how to make proper spaghetti before I left

He puts a plate in front of me and gets him some to I take a fork and take a bite it's delicious well sauced and the pastas perfectly cooked just perfect

"It tastes great bro even greater than before but what can I expect from the great Papyrus besides greatness" I say and take another bite his smile gets even bigger if that's even possible

"YES I THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAVE BEEN PRACTICING MORE WITH MUFFET AND METTATON AND WHILE YOU WERE AWAY ME AND METTATON SATRTED TO UM.....DATE" he said slowing down on his words

I choked on my spaghetti coughing my mind slowly processing the words I just heard my brother the angle of friendship with mettaton the angle of technology I swear I will rip her to shreds if she hurts him

"BROTHER SANS ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"he walked over to me and started patting my back I stopped choking and looked up at him my signature smile seen

"Yeah bro I'm fine nothing to worry about I'm glad you still took your lessons with her" I say I was actually really proud at least he didn't fall into depression

"SO YOUR OK WITH ME AND METTATON DATING BROTHER"he asked sounding uneasy I just kept smiling at him I was okay with it sort of

"Don't worry pap I'm fine with it but if she hurts you or tells you a word you don't know just come ask me okay" I tell him I don't like they words she says pap is way to innocent for that

"OKAY THEN SANS WOULD I NEED TO GO OUT WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME OR WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY HERE" he asked packing up his things really to go

I think about that bad feeling and instantly agree I jump into his shadow and we walk along the path up ahead I see Undyne and alphys pap walks up happily and greets them

"HELLO UNDYNE HELLO ALPHYS HOW ARE YOU ON THIS GREAT MORNING" his voice makes me want to cover my ears but my shadow would be seen so I try not to

"Oh heya punk I've been great my and alphys were just talking about Anime" she said and gave pap a hug but let go because with me being in Papyrus's shadow instead of killing them it makes them weak REALLY REALLY weak

"Woah u-undyne a-a-are y-you okay" alphys said helping undyn stand straight she was holding her head and stumbling around she held on to alphys and stood straight

Shit shit shit why did my powers have to do this to him papyrus can't handle this any god he touched would just turn really weak and won't be able to stand up straight for at least a day and then the balance would start shifting

"Pap try not to touch the other gods for now just go somewhere with no one around and I'll talk to you there it's my powers instead of killing them it makes them weak" I quickly say in his ear he nodded and runs off

We run into a forest and I jump out from his shadow and stumble on the ground landing on my butt and I hit my head on a tree killing it and everything I touched Papyrus comes over to help me up and I start explaining

"Okay pap since I can't go into your shadow because everyone you touch will turn weak I'll be in the shadows of things close to you instead" I say turning to face him he looked beyond confused

"BUT SANS YOU WERE IN MY SHADOW BEFORE AND THEY TOUCHED ME SO WHY CANT YOU NOW?"

"because I had just used my magic so it was weaker but I haven't used my magic in ages so it will be really powerful now" I explain I take a step forward and everything around me and Papyrus dies apart from the little patch of grass he's on

"OKAY THEN SANS BUT HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?"

"easy bro only you can see me when I'm in shadows no one else unless they do a spell or I make myself hide from you which I never do unless it's important" I say he nodded in understanding

"Welp we better get back otherwise the others will get suspicious but before you do here" I say and hand him a locket he looks at it in awe

It's a small black moon with a silver coloured rim and chain and inside it has a small version of the Galaxy where it moves and you can see the stars and comets shooting in the more beautiful parts of space on one side

On the other side is a picture of me and him together when we were kids hugging and smiling with the other gods

He takes it and puts it on and looks at the Galaxy side then to the side with the photo on it and hugged me tight

"THANK YOU FOR THIS BROTHER I PROMISE I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT"

"thanks pap and don't take it off my magic is in there so if we get separated I can find you" I say he nods and tucks it into his cloak where no one can see it but a small trace of dark magic is there but no one should be able to sense it

"OKAY THEN SANS LETS GO THEN I PROMISE TO NEVER TAKE IT OFF" he says I jump into a nearby shadow and we start back off heading back the way we came I kept jumping shadow to shadow catching up with his fast pace

*TIMESKIP TO WHEN THEY ARE ALL AT A MEETING WITH THE OTHER GODS*

The bad feeling kept growing through out the day and got even worse when we were in the meeting room with the other gods so I went over to Papyrus's shadow again and jumped in since no one was around him

(A-asgore U-undyne Al-alphys P-papyrus M-mettaton)

A- okay then I have called this meeting today to discuss a possible balance shift and-

U- yeah yeah we know Asgore but I have a question for you papyrus

P- YES UNDYNE?

U- when I gave you a hug this morning I felt drained and weak all my energy had gone and when alphys checked my HP i had one HP and you ran off why did that happen?

P- um.... Well you see......I um I uh

A- papyrus is this true?

P- WELL UM YES..........IT IS BUT ...........UM I UH

Al- well u-um y-yeah P-papyrus what did happen b-back t-there?

M- papyrus darling it's okay just calm down and explain

U- just stop stalling punk and tell us

Right now papyrus was stuttering like no tomorrow he couldn't find the words to speak and sweat was on his skull he was playing with his fingers trying to find out how to explain the bad feeling kept growing

Sudden a huge wave of pain over comes me and I end up falling out of the shadow and land on the ground papyrus gasps in pain and holds on to the chair clutching his head

I screamed out in agony my chest burned like fire and it spread all they way through my body my magic went out of control and exploded sending the others flying back

I scream out in agony the burning only got worse I screamed again and teleported to toriel ignoring the pain I ran into her garden since papyrus wasn't getting hurt it had to be her

"TORI TORI TOR-" I stopped shouting for her looking at what's in front of me

Tori was on the ground sobbing with a deep gash on her body and a figure with my scythe standing above her which looked like a little girl dressed in black with short brown hair and a shadow over her eyes

I gasped I knew that person that demon child a sans that's been through and seen genocide timelines could never forget

It's Chara

Without thinking I summoned my scythe and lunged at Chara she barely dodged surprised at my sudden appearance but it quickly turned into a smirk as she raised the scythe taunting me forward I growled and added my magic around my scythes blade it started to glow blue

"Aw sansy how long has it been 6 maybe 7 years without a reset man my life has been soo boring no screams of pain or mercy- WOAH careful there you almost hit me" she said dodging my attack I shot bones and gaster blasters at her and she dodged most of them

I growled in anger and slammed my scythe onto the ground it split open and demons crawled out from the earth growling out in anger I pointed my scythe towards Chara they all looked her way and started hissing at her

"Get her" I commanded them the all launched at her she skillfully dodged and killed each one of them till there was only one left I had managed to hit her multiple times so I was now covered in blood her blood

She laughed at me and started waving the scythe around teasing me I growled out if frustration

Stupid demon child always managing to dodge my attacks when I get my hands on them they will burn in hell I think smirking at the thought

"Now now sansy I think it's time I get going speaking of time I don't think mother has much time left until the next reset my friend" she said and dissapeared

I dropped my scythe and ran over to tori we were both covered in blood thanks to our battles I put her head on my lap tears were streaming down both our faces I put my hand on her cheek

"S-sans" she said in a weak voice I knew she wasn't going to make it

"Yeah tori"

"P-promise m-me so-something"

"Anything tori"

"Pr-promise m-me that you w-wont s-stop smiling" she said I looked up at her face and forced a smile she weakly smiled back

"I'm smiling tori I'm smiling"

"Sans"

"Yes"

"W-will y-you s-sing for me?"

"Sure tori" I said and began to sing her favorite song

I sang she died in my arms smiling I gently close her eyes and she turns to dust I feel the balance shift but I didn't care I looked at her dust and gently pick up the necklace she always wore and put it in my pocket

I started to cry she was the very first person to believe in me she even made a promise to make sure that I never felt alone again

I say there crying for I don't know how long until I felt something g deep inside me begin to stir I started to feel angry

It's her fault it's all Chara's fault it's her fault Tori's gone it's her fault Tori's dead she took her away from me it's her fault she killed tori it's all we fault

I let out a large scream it was filled with pain sorrow guilt and anger I screamed out as loud as I could

Itechoed around the area and my magic let out a huge explosion of energy killing everything around me what was once toriels garden was now a dead waste I stood up

I will make sure that I get my revenge on that demon child she will pay and I'll make sure of that she will die the most painful death anyone could ever imagine

I need to get back to the other gods looks like they'll get to see death again after all but I'm not the same not anymore

My wings come out as I start to fly back to the others the fight took a lot of magic out of me so I'll just fly there

I have to protect Papyrus he's the last bit of family I have left the pain he felt would have been nothing compared to mine we were close friends for seven years Papyrus had only just met her and a bond was formed between the three of us

I landed in front of the palace and made my wings dissapear I pull my hood up to hide my tears and walk straight in

The guards at the front attacked me but I easily knocked them out with a flick of my hand sending them flying into the wall

All the plants around me start wilting away and shriveled up in dust I didn't care I had to find papyrus

I continued to the meeting room the other gods were still there but papyrus Undyne and Asgore were gone? What the hell

I looked around at the other gods they seemed scared? To see me there or even see me at all the only reason I'm here is to protect Papyrus

"Where's Papyrus?" I ask not wasting any time with them I just wanted to go

"D-death your back" alphys stuttered out

"I just need to find Papyrus where is he?" I was getting Impatient and I was already mad

"Death darling he's with the king and Undyne" mettaton said

"Which room?"

"Map room" she said

I took off towards the room killing all the plants I burst through the door sure enough Asgore Undyne and Papyrus where all standing there

Papyrus jumped up and down with joy seeing me here but also looked confused

Undyne looked shocked and was frozen looking lost In Thought just seeing me

Asgore has stood up and summoned his weapon anger clear on his face but why

"OH BROTHER YOUR BACK IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU AGAIN WHERE DID YOU GO AND WHY WERE YOU SCREAMING?" pap yelled it just made me feel even worse

"Death is that you did you know the balance has shifted" he said I ignore both of them and walk up to papyrus

He looks happy but it quickly changes to concern he reaches his hand up to my hood I already know he sees the tears but the others dont and I flinch away from his touch he retracted his hand

"BROTHER WHATS WRONG WHAT HAPPENED WHY ARE YOU COVERED IN BLOOD?"

I don't answer and pull out her necklace from my cloak hidden in my hand along with a note to stay away from the human I grab his and put it in closing it into a fist he didn't see it so he doesn't know what's inside he looks at me again I let go of his hand and he keeps it there

"BROTHER WHATS WRONG" he said reaching for my hood I step back away from his reach and he frowns I take a quick look at the others and teleport away back to her garden

I let the tears flow the fall carelessly down my face I sob I didn't care anymore the first person to ever care about me was gone forever killed by her own child she treated Chara like her own

My hand gently removes the stained glass flower from my cloak and touches one of the petals it was the very first gift she gave me since I accidentally killed the real one it's a exact copy of the Lilly she laughed when she first gave it to me the humans called it deaths flower

I started crying again my sobs echoed around me without life the world would perish

I didn't care there was only one thing on my mind

REVENGE

Papyrus's pov (yay new pov)

SANS HAD JUST LEFT AND HAD PLACED SOMETHING IN MY HAND BUT I WAS FROZEN MY MIND STILL PROCESSING WHAT HAD HAPPENED

FIRST WE WERE AT THE MEETING THEN A SUDDEN PAIN WENT THROUGH ME THEN SANS FLEW OUT OF HIS SHADOW AND STARTED SCREAMING THEN HAD DISSAPERED HE CAME BACK WITH BLOOD ON HIM

SECOND WHEN I WENT TO TOUCH HIM AND ASK WHATS WRONG HE FLINCHED AWAY AND PUT SOMETHING IN MY HAND

THIRD HE WAS CRYIG I KNOW THAT HE ONLY EVER CRYED WHEN SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED OR HE WAS IN PAIN AND THOSE TEARS WERE BLACK

I OPENED MY HAND AND LOOKED AT WBAT HE HAD GIVEN ME IT WAS QUEEN TORIELS NECKLACE THE ONE SHE ALWAYS WORE AND NEVER TOOK OF SAYING IT WAS A REMINDER OF HOME

ALONG WITH A NOTE TEARS PRICKED MY EYES AS I SLOWLY OPEN THE NOTE

"Well after the punk death showed up he had this powerful aura but then when he left dark magic came right through here and he was covered in blood" SHE SAID BACK THEY BOTH TURNED TO ME

Papyrus ran out I was mad our queen was just killed and death just so happened to walk in bloody and little bits of dust

I summoned my weapon and turned to Asgore justice needed to be served I was angry

"I'm going to go after him I bet death knows who killed life" I say he stand up

"NO UNDYNE IT'S FAR TO DANGEROUS-" I cut him off

"SO WHAT I BET HE KILLED LIFE I AM GOING AFTER HIM TO GET SOME ANSWERS NOW" I stated firmly and walked out or really wasn't hard to find him just follow the trail of death

I found him just standing there it made my anger grow

HOW IS HE JUST STANDING AROUND WHEN LIFE WAS JUST KILLED?

HIS FACE WAS HIDDEN BUT I COULD JUST MAKE OUT HIS SIGNATURE SMILE HE LOOKED GUILT ALRIGHT AND WHO SMILES AFTER SOMEONE IS KILLED!?

"DEATH THERE YOU ARE IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU" I SAID SPINNING MY SPEAR AROUND
