《You Can Do It Chongyun! [School AU]》Chapter 3: Why Do I Feel Like This?

Chongyun and Xingqiu stood outside of the classroom, hearing Xiao and Venti whispering something to one another in between kisses. And in no time Venti walked out of the classroom just to see Xiao's entire class standing outside. He blushed and awkwardly waved at the class before quickly walking to his own classroom.
Xiao walked out of the class, slightly annoying and disheveled. "Come in" He sighed as the rest of the class giggled walking inside.
Surprisingly, Xiao was in a way better mood during class than usual, which made the class a ton more enjoyable. It came as a shock to all of them that class could actually be enjoyable, considering Xiao always seemed so done with them. But today was different. Today he was easy going and nice, he even allowed them to have free time for the last 10 minutes of class.
Chongyun took complete advantage of this sitting at the desk across from Xingqiu. Xingqiu looked up at him, a bit startled by the boy but smiling nonetheless.
"Hello Chongyun," He smiled "You know, I've been dying to know- who exactly is your crush?" Xingqiu asked innocently.
"W-well I can't uhm exactly tell you that..." He bit his lip. "You'll find out though! Don't you love a good Mystery?" He asked, resting his cheek in his hand as he looked at Xingqiu, completely love struck. Luckily for him, Xingqiu was incredibly oblivious to anything and everything around him that had to do with romantic feelings unless they were in books.
"I do, but I don't see why it has to stay a mystery to me, we're best friends aren't we?" Xingqiu tilted his head to the side. "Unless you trust the others more than you trust me" He frowned
"It's not that! It's just that I didn't think you'd have interest...and I'm scared that if you found out you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore and I don't want to lose you"

"You wouldn't ever lose me Chongyun. I'm not that type of person" He sighed "but if you really don't want to tell me, it's not my place to force you to, I just thought that maybe I could be helpful" Xingqiu stated.
"You're already helpful enough, and thank you Xing" Chongyun smiled.
"Ohhh Yun yun~" Xiangling called "Cmere! We wanna talk about something" She signaled to the small group.
"I gotta go talk to them, see you after class!" He smiled and walked over to Xiangling and the group.
Xingqiu sighed and looked out the window, "So that's it, his crush is Xiangling...that makes sense considering how close they are....but why does it hurt so much" He whispered to himself, "is it because I'm jealous that my friend is leaving me to talk to his crush. That must be it, why else would I feel jealousy toward Xiangling. She's my friend, I shouldn't be jealous. It was about time Chongyun made more friends...I just hope he doesn't abandon me when he asks Xiangling out"
Xingqiu packed up his stuff anxiously waiting for the bell to ring. When it finally did ring, he made sure he was the first out of the class. He made his way to the bathroom millions of questions swarming through his mind. His mind was going crazy, everything was spinning. Everything hurt. His heart. He was in pain. Why was his heart racing? Why was this happening?
He stumbled into a stall, locking it before sinking to the bathroom floor. He brought his knees to his chest, tears pouring down his face. Maybe it wasn't just the friendship he was jealous of. It was the crush.

Riposte
Noël is known across the city of Portland—and not by choice. A chance encounter on her first day plunges her headfirst into a secret underground tournament. Cutthroat games with grim consequences await her in a shadowy world of competitors all dueling for the greatest prize imaginable. A new story from Etzoli, that one butterfly who writes things. This is a side-adventure I've written during the pandemic, as I've been having a lot of trouble getting into the correct head-space for writing my main series (The Last Science). Expect some rougher bits. Schedule is sporadic, but this will be a shorter one (closer to Snipe or Epilogue in length). I hope you enjoy it! A Requiem For The End
Yuga wakes up on a cold, frigid land entirely covered in snow. Where was he? Who was he? Neither of these could he remember but he didn't have time to think of it, he could tell danger wasn't far. A quick death if he failed to avoid it. It was fast approaching and much as he tried to escape, it quickly caught up with him. Luckily he had survived, but was he just lucky or was there something more to him.....? A Requiem For The End is a fantasy story set in a world.......well, quite different from most stories you might have seen (I honestly don't know how to better describe it). Early into the story (prologue) the world feels elusive because you slowly learn about it through the eyes of Yuga. As you read on questions may arise in your mind and mysteries will present themselves. The answers to them will come the further you read. I'd like to think the plot is a bit larger than the average and same goes for the world building. If you find this story intriguing then all I can say is - There's a lot for me to tell, hop on?
