《Outta Her System》Chapter Thirty One - 4 Minutes

I peeled my eyes open easily from not being able to get enough sleep last night. All my pain is increasing from conflict after conflict and I'm really tired of it.
Earlier this morning around midnight, I received a message from Omari. Two actually, one being a text and one being a dick picture, sort of.
I tossed and turned trying to find sleep, but I couldn't. I huffed, wishing Queen was awake to keep me company, but she's currently in dreamland.
I slightly jumped when my phone dinged, indicating that I had a notification.
I lifted it up and seen that I had two messages from Omari causing my heart to drop.
I told him I needed space, meaning I didn't want to communicate with him for a while. I contemplated on opening it or just ignoring it, but curiosity got the best of me.
I opened the messages and noticed that the pictures was loading, so I scanned over the text.
🌎He's mine now, honey😘
Before I could question or even think about the statement, the attachment finally loaded all the way making my heart stop.
My eyes teared up at the image on my phone screen. I didn't even have to click on the picture to get a better look because it was very self explanatory.
That thirsty ass bartender at Omari's club had her lips wrapped around his dick while staring directly at the camera. I couldn't see Omari's face in the picture, just his huge erection. To make matters worse, the bitch has his fucking phone, so I can't even deny the facts.
I wasn't stupid either I knew this was what she wanted, but I didn't know Omari would allow it to go this far. This soon.
I want to blow up with rage. I want to break down into heartfelt cries. I want to scream out my frustration. I want to release all my emotions out, but what I need is to move on and get out of this toxic situation.
My wheels began turning as I laid on my side and silently let my tears fall. I promise after tonight, there is no more crying for me because I'm stronger than this and all my future obstacles.
Thinking about it all over again makes me angry. A little hurt, but I'm mostly filled with rage now. It took everything in me last night not to go find them and fuck both of them up. If I wasn't so embarrassed, I would've woke Queen up and actually had her searching with me, but I didn't want anybody to find this shit out. I don't think my little heart can bear anymore negativity.
I need a damn get away, I thought before thinking it over.
"I don't wanna leave you, but I forgot I promised my mom that I'll go to my dad's gravesite with her."
I waved her off and smiled, or tried to at least, "Queen go ahead, I'm fine. Even if I wasn't I wouldn't let you miss it because of me."
She groaned. "I know. I wanna go, but then I wan-"
"It doesn't matter 'cause you're goin' either way." I interrupted.
She stared at me before huffing lightly, "I know, but I'm comin' back once I'm done."
"Okay."
"Give me hugs." She pouted as she leaned down and gave me a hug while I was still laying down. "Try and feel better, okay? I'll bring sum' snacks back."
"Okay." I nodded my head and kissed her cheek. "I love you, Queen."

"Aww," she pulled away. "I love you too, Nae."
As she stood up straight, I snuggled into my comforter and closed my eyes. I heard her shuffle around for a little before I heard her close my bedroom door.
I opened my eyes and sat up on my bed, grabbing my phone. I unlocked it and scanned over my plane ticket to Paris. I had it scheduled for tonight around 7 because I didn't have much time left until my freshmen year of college. I'm planning to travel there and have some me time and then come back to start school again.
It's just a mini vacation, I assured myself before hovering my finger over the submit button.
I thought about how my family and friends weren't normal people. They had connects and could easily find me. I know them more than anybody and if they found out I was doing this, they wouldn't allow me to do it by myself. That's exactly what I wanted. I wanted to be alone and focus on me for a little while. Get away from all this Harlem drama, is that too much to ask?
I groaned before adding another tab and looking up if I was able to pay for it with cash. Immediately, my question was answered. Yes. I could pay for it at one of the airport's ticket counters.
It's just a mini trip, I told myself again. Just to clear my mind.
I woke up to my head throbbing causing me to scrunch my face up. I opened my eyes, but closed them instantly once the sunlight increased the throbbing pain in my dome.
"Yo' ass finally up, huh? It's 5 in the afternoon, nigga." I heard Nick's voice.
"Mm," I hummed. I placed my forearm over my eyes before mumbling, "You got sum' pain killers?"
"Yeah. Bean got sum' in his cabinet."
I slightly peeked under my arm and scanned my surroundings, noticing I was in Bean's living room. Stretched out on his couch.
"Man, how I get here?" I questioned, "what the fuck happened last night?"
Nick just shook his head. "I'll tell you after you get up and take sum' Advil."
I groaned, knowing my head was going to hurt even worse once I start moving around.
I got up after a few minutes passed and quickly walked to Bean's kitchen. I almost sighed in relief when my eyes landed on the Advil bottle that was sitting on the counter.
"Whoever sat this out for me is the goat." I mumbled to myself.
"Bean did." Nick informed.
"He still sleep?" I asked while twisting the pill bottle open.
"Nah, his ass went to go get sum' Grubs."
"Ain't it too early for that?"
"It's five in the afternoon, B. Remember?"
I froze with the bottle tilted over the palm of my hand. I slowly glanced up at him before looking back down.
"Lemme hurry up and take these pills, so I can figure out what the fuck is goin' on. 'Cause I thought niggas was being dramatic."
I shook one pill onto my hand before popping it into my mouth.
"My G, I know you not finna swallow that pill dry." Nick scrunched his face up.
I shook my head, setting the bottle down on the counter and heading towards the sink. I turned on the faucet before leaning downward and drinking some water from my hand.
Once I swallowed the pill, I turned towards Nick and spoke, "What's good?"

Nick shook his head and walked back into the living room. I raised an eyebrow and followed him, patiently waiting on him to tell me what's up.
"I think you might wanna sit down." He mumbled with a straight face.
"Stop playin' and tell me what's goin' on." I smacked my lips at him because he was stalling.
Nick leaned up against a wall and blew out a breath. "My nigga, you... you got drugged last night."
I blankly stared at him before chuckling a little bit, hoping he would join in, but he didn't. My face fell blank again.
"Come again, nigga?"
"You got drugged, son."
I scrunched my face up and tried to think back to the previous night. I remember moping around all day and then going to Démanger to get a couple drinks. In the middle of me drowning myself in my own sorrow, Lanae texted me and then everything from there is a blur.
"Huh?" I asked.
Nick shook his head and sighed, "I know. I can't believe the shit either."
"Who? The fuck? What?" I struggled with the thought of being drugged.
"That sneaky ass bartender of yours, I forget her name."
As soon as he finished his sentence, Bean walked through the front door.
He was smacking with a mouth full of French fries when his eyes landed on me. "Ouuu boy! You in trouble."
I blew out a breath, "How the fuck did I let this shit happen?"
"Well.. I know I wasn't there," Bean paused his chewing to lock the door before he continued, "but I'm pretty sure it was because-"
"Bean, not now." I warned.
He held his hands up in surrender along with his bags of food. "I'm just tryna help you out."
I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose, "Where's Christina?"
"In the trap." Nick informed as we watched Bean place the food on his coffee table.
I nodded my head, trying my hardest to contain my anger.
"Yeah. I'm happy we saved you, but you scarred us for life, bro." Bean shook his head.
I opened my eyes and placed my attention on him, "What you talkin' 'bout?"
"When we came in there that bitch had yo' dick all out. I damn near killed the bitch right then and there but I needed her to put that shit away."
"Bean's goofy ass pointed his pistol at her and said before you freeze bitch put his dick away." Nick chuckled a bit.
As they both continued to laugh, I scrunched my face up. "What the fuck was my shit doin' out?"
"That's what we was tryna' figure out."
"Yeah. I'm hopin' she ain't rape you, dawg." Bean said.
"Nah.. she ain't take advantage of him, but I did notice that she had yo' phone in her hand when we found y'all." Nick informed.
I scanned the room for my phone and said, "I pray for her sake she didn't do anything stupid."
"I don't know, bruh. She already on the stupid path for druggin' you in the first place."
Nick is right about that, but I hope and pray she ain't do nothing with my phone.
I felt around the couch I was sleeping on and finally found my phone in between the cushions. Once I had it unlocked, I immediately checked my call log. My last call was to Lanae, but it was only six seconds meaning I most likely got sent to voicemail.
"You find something?" Bean's nosey ass asked.
"Right, 'cause this quiet shit is givin' me anxiety." Nick uttered.
I just ignored them and went to my messages next. My heart dropped instantly as I scanned over me and Lanae's thread that was open from last night. Christina took a picture of her sucking my dick and sent it to Lanae saying he's mine now.
My grip on my phone tightened as I lost the last bit of control I had.
As if Bean knew my next move he yelled, "No no don-"
He groaned once my phone made a small hole in a nearby wall.
"I'm 'bouta kill this bitch." I spat while storming towards the front door.
"Woah, woah, B!" Nick stepped in front of me and gave me a look, "what you find?"
"Something bad if he breakin' phones and damagin' my fuckin' walls." Bean answered for me.
I remained silent, thinking about ways I was about to torture Christina's snake ass. I was going to make her last seconds of life miserable since she wanted to go around lying and ruining my last bit of relationship I had with Lanae.
"Nick move."
"What she do, Omari?"
I slipped past him and swung the front door open.
"Don't be tryna' break my door too!" I heard Bean yell from behind me.
Seconds later, I heard the door close and footsteps following my path.
Me and my niggas hopped inside of my whip before I raced towards the trap.
"Can one of y'all call Lanae for me?" I asked while keeping my eyes on the road.
"Yeah, hol' up." Nick said before the atmosphere got quiet again.
"So.." Bean trailed off as Nick dialed Lanae. "What you see?"
I clenched my jaw before shaking my head. "Christina sent Lanae ah picture wit' my dick in her mouth talkin' 'bout he mine now."
"Word?" Bean questioned.
"Yeah, I wish I was makin' this shit up." I stated before quickly glancing back at Nick. "She answer?"
"Nah." Nick shook his head.
"Fuck," I dragged out, tightening my grip on the steering wheel.
"She probably know we wit' you."
"Still man.. she mad dramatic, B." I stressed, praying she wasn't doing anything out of pocket.
"I mean.. I would be dramatic too if I was in her shoes." Nick said.
"Yeah, but.." I blew out a breath and just kept quiet.
"She ain't gon' do nothing, but fuck yo' shit up." Bean stated.
I knew he was right, but my gut was also telling me she was up to something way more unpredictable.
I thought about different scenarios before speaking out loud, "Maybe, I should go see Lanae first and explain."
"Shit.. I don't know 'bout that. If I was you I'll let her cool off." Bean said.
"Do whatever yo' gut is tellin' you to do." Nick spoke in a serious tone.
And I did the complete opposite of what he said.
I stood in front of Christina, glaring down at her as she gazed up at me with tears rolling down her face.
"Why?"
She tried to speak, but the duct tape muffled her cries. I yanked it off her mouth causing her to hiss in pain.
"Lucky.. please! I didn't do anything."
I chuckled humorlessly, "You didn't do anything? Did I hear you correctly?"
She timidly gazed down at the concrete floor as I waited for her to speak some more bullshit.
"HUH?"
"Yes.." she mumbled under her breath.
"So druggin' me ain't doin' anything? Placin' my dick in yo' mouth while I'm passed out ain't doin' anything?"
More tears formed in her eyes while she kept them off of me.
I roughly grabbed her chin and forced her to look up at me.
"'Cause if that's the case, then this right here wouldn't be doin' anything. Or me blowin' yo' fuckin' brains out ain't doin' anything, right?"
She shook her head, rapidly.
"This bitch just went against her own words," Bean spoke from behind me.
"Shit, I would too if his ass was threatenin' me." Nick chimed in.
Bean smacked his lips, "Man, shut yo' I wanna understand everybody's situation ass up!"
"Fuck you, nigga." Nick chuckled.
Ignoring the both of them, I continued mugging Christina before speaking once again. "So should I torture you and then kill you or just dead the situation?"
"Torture her ass, dawg." Bean answered for her.
"You ain't shit." Nick laughed while shaking his head.
"For real, nigga. This bitch just cost ah good ass bon-"
Suddenly, his phone started ringing.
We all expected him to just look at his phone and then decline the call like we all do, but he ended up answering it.
"I'm not endin' up like you, Lucky. That's dead. Wassup, baby?"
I raised my eyebrow as I watched the smile on his face drop as he listened to Queen on the other end of the phone.
"Hol' up, hol' up..." he scrunched his face up, "What the fuck you mean?" Seconds later, his eyes grew in size, "All her clothes gone or just sum' and what the hell the note say?"
He made eye contact with me before running his free hand down his face. "Hol' up.. I'm finna give the phone to him." He informed before walking up to me and holding his phone out for me. "Kill this bitch, before I do."
I quickly grabbed the phone and held it up to my ear. "What's wrong, Queen? What's happenin'?"
"What the fuck did you do, Omari?" She yelled.
"What the fuck you mean what I do? What the fuck is goin' on?" I questioned.
"You know what I'm talkin' 'bout! Lanae is fuckin' gone and I don't know where she is or where she's goin'." She sobbed.
"Gone? Fuck you mean gone?" I said with disbelief as I made my way upstairs and out the front door of the trap.
"Gone, nigga! I came back to her house after visitin' my dad's grave wit' my mom and she had a note on the kitchen counter sayin' she needed ah break and she'll be back for college. I don't know how the fuck she snuck past Unc, but we all freakin' the fuck out." She cried.
I hopped inside of my car and quickly drove in the direction of their house. "I'm on my way."
"You ain't gon' find her here, plus she ain't give up no information what so ever. She smart and mad fuckin' annoyin'. Imma strangle her ass when I lay my eyes on her, just please find her before it's too late."
"I gotchu', I'll talk to you later." I uttered before hanging up. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" I punched the steering wheel.
Where could she be headin'?
I tried calling her phone, but it didn't even ring.
Think, Omari. Think. I told myself while driving around with my eyes scanning the streets.
6:00
The time on the bus said before I got off of it and walked up to the airport. I left everything at home, instead of a bag full of clothes and money.
I didn't want to risk anything. I know by now, everybody knows about my sudden absence including the note I left. I will admit my actions are very selfish right now, but my mind is racing so much, I don't even care.
I reached inside of my bag and grabbed my money, ready to buy my ticket before I even stepped inside of the building.
As I approached the sliding doors, I heard someone call my name from behind me. Not just anyone either. I heard Omari's deep sensual voice invade my ears causing my entire figure to freeze.
