I stormed downstairs to the metal door before I quickly unlocked it and swung it open. Everybody in the room hopped up out of their seats, alarmed by my sudden entrance.

"What the fuck is wrong wit' y'all," I asked, my voice booming throughout the whole trap.

"Nun'. What's poppin' Lucky," Louie's giant ass got up from his chair.

"What's poppin'? Mothafuckas bouta lose they jobs 'cause they sittin' on their asses while sum' shit just popped off," I hollered with my nose flared up.

"What happened, G," Chris asked while standing up.

"What the fuck you doin' here? Didn't I tell you I wanted you in school," I squinted my eyes at him like he had three heads.

"Lucky, I'm good. It's the last day anyway," he said.

"I don't give ah fuck! Get yo' ass to school," I ordered causing him to smack his lips. He slowly made his way out the room, but once he was about to past me I stopped him by placing my hand on his shoulder. "I ain't tryna' bitch you or nothin' like that. I just want you focusin' on graduatin' school and becomin' better than me, you feel me?"

Once he nodded his head a little, I let him go and turned my attention towards the rest of them in the room.

"Everybody gear up, we got shit to handle," I said before storming out of the room. I made my way up the stairs and told JB to have Louie and a couple other niggas stay with him, so they could guard the trap.

I hopped inside of my ride and dialed Bean's number.

"Wassup? You at the trap," he answered after a few rings.

"Yeah, mothafuckas was sittin' on they asses," I spat, pissed the fuck off. "Don't even know what the fuck just happened."

"Damn," he said in a serious tone, "we gon' have to get 'em niggas right, dawg."

"No doubt, B. I'm on my way to Loco Ranch, right now."

"Aight bet," he hung up.

I set my phone on my lap before turning on my car. Before pulling off, I sent a text to every member that was going with me and told them to meet me at our Mexican restaurant.

I got in front of the building in thirty three minutes, since I was speeding and already close by. I left my car running as I hopped out and marched inside. I heard the others pull up while I scanned the empty place.

Usually this shit is packed like all my other restaurants, but today somebody decide they wanted to die. Miguel, my Mexican chef, called me a hour ago and told me somebody threw a rock into my fucking restaurant. Somehow the rock, busted through a glass window and caused a big scene sending everybody out.

I snapped back into reality when Miguel walked out from the back.

"Where the rock at," I calmly questioned, even though I was heated.

Miguel held his hand out, holding the rock, before he placed it into mine.

"I didn't get to see who threw it homes 'cause I was cookin', but I asked the girls who were workin' at the register and up front... said they didn't see anything either," Miguel informed me.

"It's coo', y'all was all doin' y'all jobs. Good lookin' out," I told him before observing the rock.

"No problem, homie. Whoever it was wrote sum' shit on the rock."

I turned the rock around and saw the letters "YNG" engraved on it.

"The fuck this shit mean," I asked myself out loud, with my face scrunched up.

"Shit, I was tryna' figure that out," Miguel commented.

"What's goin' on Lucky," one of the Slum Money members questioned.

I faced the entrance as everybody crowded inside the dining area, along with Bean, Nick, and Sunny.

I held up the rock, displaying the letters. "Any of y'all know what this shit mean?"

Everybody either shook their head no or shrugged their shoulders.

"Yeah, I never saw 'em letters," Sunny spoke out loud.

"No lie," a couple niggas agreed in unison.

"I just moved back, so you know I don't know shit," Nick chuckled a little bit.

"Shit, it might be 'em lil' niggas I told you about awhile ago," Bean brought up.

"'Em lil' niggas that was tryna start ah gang," I asked, making sure.

"Yeah, on the south side."

"Y'all know this the only restaurant we got on the south side of Harlem, so maybe they tryna prove ah point," Sunny pointed out.

"What point tho'? Lil' niggas know who we is and what the fuck we 'bout," this nigga named John asked.

"I don't know what their fuckin' point was suppose to be and I don't really give ah fuck," I started off, "all I know is that whoever did this is dumb as fuck and they got ah death wish."

"Mhmm," everybody hummed in unison.

"So... what you tryna do," Nick asked with his arms crossed.

"Since we already on the south side let's pay these lil' niggas ah visit," I smirked evilly, ready to murk some niggas.

"It's the last day of school and my bitch Nae lookin' like ah full course meal," Queen hyped me up as I posed for a picture.

Once I was done, I stood up straight and grabbed my phone from Deon, "Thanks D."

"You know I gotchu'," he smirked, "on the real tho' I'm missin' the blonde hair."

"I swear. It was so cute, but the jet black always gon' look good on you Nae," Crystal stated.

"Shit, it better always look good on me," I laughed, "it's my natural color."

"For real," Felicia gasped, "that's rare girl. Not ah lot of people have naturally jet black hair."

"I know right," Queen agreed, "I be dyin' mine jet black sometimes, but I'm finna try a different color."

"What color," I curiously asked her as we all walked out of the front doors of Linmoore High School.

"I really don't know," she laughed, "but something bright."

"Well, whenever you dye it I wanna see it," Crystal smiled.

"You already know imma show my bitches," Queen grinned.

As we made it to the parking lot, I noticed Omari's car wasn't parked in the front as usual.

"You gettin' picked up," Queen asked.

"I don't even know, usually he be here. Maybe he runnin' late," I said while pulling out my phone.

"If he don't answer I'll just take you home," Queen said as I dialed his number and placed my phone up to my ear.

When I thought he wasn't about to answer his phone, his voice filled my ears at the last minute.

"Wassup?"

"Umm.." I paused, "are you goin' to pick me up?"

I heard him curse underneath his breath before he spoke, "Nah, I can't right now. Queen still there?"

"Yeah," I said, disappointed.

"Aight, ride wit' her and I'll talk to you later," he told me.

"Okay," I mumbled, "Where you at?"

"Lanae, I'm busy workin'."

"Okay, there's no need to be gettin' smart wit' me. I ain't do shit to you."

"Aight, whatever man," he chuckled dryly.

"What's the issue?"

"There's no fuckin' issue man. That's you tryna' fuckin' argue wit' me while I'm workin'."

"No, I'm gettin' mad because you actin' dry wit' me like I did something wrong."

He was quiet for a moment before he said, "Are you done, Lanae?"

I felt my body grow hot as anger took over my emotions, "Fuck you!"

I hung up before I could hear his response and placed my phone in my back pocket.

"You good, Nae," Felicia asked as everybody had their eyes on me.

"Yeah, he just gets on my nerves," I rolled my eyes before smiling at them, "I'll see y'all during the summer, aight?"

"Okay girl! We gon' be linkin' up soon," Felicia stated before pulling me in a hug.

When we pulled away she hugged Queen as I hugged Crystal.

After we embraced each other, Deon smacked his lips, "We gon' see each other at graduation. Slow down."

"Shut up, fool. We ain't gon' be able to do shit at graduation," Queen told him.

He shrugged, "Maybe y'all not, but I am."

"Boy bye," Crystal dismissed him while laughing, "we'll see y'all at graduation."

"Okay, see y'all later," I smiled at them before the trio began walking out of the parking lot.

Queen unlocked her car doors and we both hopped inside before she drove away from the school.

"So why you and yo' mans arguin' now," she asked when we got to a red light.

"Because he's annoyin' as fuck. I can't stand him sometimes," I huffed.

"Mmm," she smirked as she began driving again, "seems to me like y'all need to just fuck."

"Uh," I uttered as I glanced at her with my mouth open.

She laughed as she made a right turn, "No, like dead ass y'all been arguin' since we moved back to Harlem. Y'all just needa have sex already and I'm not talkin' 'bout oral. You need that D and he clearly need some of that cookie from you, Nae."

"Oh my gosh," I blushed mad hard.

"For real."

"I don't even know if I'm ready," I exclaimed.

"You ready, you just scared."

"How you know if I'm ready," I raised an eyebrow.

"Girl," she laughed, "from the lil' stories you be tellin' me about you two, I can tell. Shit, you be the one startin' everything."

"No, that be Omari."

"And you be provokin' my nigga, Nae. You know how to get sum' head from him by testin' him."

She was right. I do be starting random arguments or catching an attitude out of nowhere when I want some head. I don't know, it's something about arguing with Omari first before getting some head. Maybe it's the thrill of it, but I know it's better than just asking for some. Call me crazy, but I love the intensity of it. It's sort of like make up head.

"I guess you right," I smirked.

"Girl, I know I am. I know you."

She pulled into the parking lot of our building before quickly parking her car.

As we hopped out of the car and headed towards the entrance of the building, I felt my phone vibrate against my butt. I reached back and grabbed it from my back pocket before glancing down at me screen.

🤤💍Wait until I see you

Am I suppose to be scared ?

🤤💍yeah cause imma have yo ass running

From what?

🤤💍You know what and if you so happened to have forgotten I'll remind you when I see you

we'll see

I found myself grinning down at our texts when Queen popped out the cut, looking at my screen.

"Ouuu, y'all nasty," she laughed causing me to quickly turn off my screen.

"Damn nosey," I playfully mugged her.

"Girl shut up before I call Lucky," she playfully threatened.

"Queen, he don't run nothing."

"Shitttt," she dragged out, "you know who run it, Nae."

I rolled my eyes while smiling.

My baby run it, I thought even though I'll never admit it out loud.

It's been a few hours since we been riding around the south side of Harlem. Slum Money members were scattered everywhere. Me, Nick, Bean, and Sunny were all driving in his whip trying to spot one of these little niggas.

I was getting angrier as the hours passed by. I'm just trying to find one of these mothafuckas, so I can go home and relax. I've been busy all damn day. The sun was beginning to set, indicating that the time was at least past 8 pm.

Suddenly Bean pointed out the window at some brown skin nigga that was standing on a corner, "There go one of 'em lil' niggas right there, B."

"Pull up," I demanded causing Sunny to speed up his car.

I pulled my gun out of my waistband before taking it off safety. I rolled down my window as we got closer to the nigga and aimed my gun at him. Sunny quickly stopped the car directly on the corner, revealing me and the steel. The little nigga's eyes got so wide as fear quickly filled them.

My face was in the form of a mug as I stared at the nigga with my gun directly pointed to his chest. I wanted this little nigga to remember my face if he survived. Or even after death. I wanted to show his ass who he was really fucking with.

"Remember me, bitch," I spat before shooting him twice in the chest causing him to collapse on the concrete.

Screams from all around broke out as I put my gun on safety and rolled up my window, "Let's go."

Sunny pressed his foot on the gas causing his tires to screech as we pulled off.

I'm mothafuckin' Lucky in these streets and I'm the nigga who run it.
