"Hey babe," Brittany smiled as I stepped inside of the house.

"What's good," I greeted. I glanced at the tv and noticed that she was watching Power.

"How was France," she asked while getting up from the couch and making her way over to me.

"It was coo'. Got to hang wit' ma dukes," I said before she pecked my lips. I didn't kiss her back, which caused her to give me confused look. "I gotta talk to you."

"Okay, what's up," she questioned and crossed her arms over her chest. I motioned towards the couch before we both sat down on one. I sat across from her, so I could talk to her directly.

I stared at her for a minute as I gathered my thoughts. "You know I love you, right?"

"Yeah babe, I love you too. What's goin' on?"

"I'm just tryna let you know before I start wit' what I'm finna say."

"Okay," she hesitantly said, "Is everything okay Omari? You scarin' me right now."

"To be real wit' you.. nah everything isn't okay Brittany. I've been doin' ah lot of thinkin' in France and I realized ah few things. We always arguin' and makin' up wit' sex, basically goin' back and forth doin' that over the years and it's gettin' old, ma."

I watched her raise an eyebrow, "Omari, all couples argue.. it's normal. I don't see the point in you bringin' this up."

"You'll understand once I finish," I assured her before getting straight to the point, "I'm just not feelin' this whole back and forth thing we got goin' on. We been doin' this shit since we got together and for real, for real it's stressin' ah nigga out. You outta everyone should know I don't have time to be dealin' wit' unnecessary drama 'cause I already got hella shit on my plate."

"So what the fuck are you tryna say Omari," she shouted as she hopped off the couch.

I stared blankly at her and slowly raised up off the couch before strutting over to her. She glared up at me as I towered over her petite frame, causing me to shake my head.

"You wanna know what I'm tryna say to yo' ass? Huh?"

"Yes."

"I don't feel the way I once felt 'bout you," I confessed, "I can't vibe wit' yo' ass no more and I can't do this," I pointed between me and her, "no more. It's time to go our separate ways."

"What," her voice cracked as I watched her eyes become glossy, letting me know she was about to cry.

I sighed and stepped away from her, "I'm breakin' up wit' you, Brittany. We both know what we got goin' on ain't healthy, so I'm makin' the first move."

She placed her hand over her mouth as a sob escaped from it, making me feel like shit. I really didn't mean for us to end it like this because there was a point in time where I thought I'll have a future with her, but that ended once Lanae popped back into my life.

Suddenly she started screaming, bringing me out of my thoughts, "It's because of her! Isn't it? You didn't start actin' funny until she showed up outta nowhere! What the fuck does that lil' bitch have that I don't, huh?"

I clenched my jaw, "Regarde ta bouche."

"Oh, so now the lil' French boy mad? Well guess what... I don't give ah fuck! I don't give ah fuck about you and I'll beat that lil' bitch's ass next time I see her. Or maybe I'll j-"

Before she could finish threatening Lanae, I snatched her little ass up by the collar of her shirt, "I swear on everything I fuckin' love.. if you ever fuckin' touch Lanae.. I'll personally fuck yo' life up. She ain't do ah damn thing to you, so chill the fuck out."

She stared at me with wide eyes before anger filled them and she pushed me away from her, "Fuck you Omari! I gave you my all and this how you do me?"

I shrugged and pulled up my slightly sagging sweatpants, "I deserve that. I'll be back in a few hours."

And just like that I walked out of the house and headed towards Bean's crib.

"WHAT," Nick blurted out as Bean spit all of his Pepsi on his wooden floors.

I smacked my lips, "I broke up wit' Brittany."

"Niggaaaaaa," Bean dragged out with a shocked look on his face before he smiled hell of hard, "it's about time."

"You fucked up fool," I chuckled and shook my head.

"I ain't gon' lie," Nick paused, "I've been waitin' for this shit for ah long time."

"No doubt," Bean agreed, laughing.

I shook my head before picking up the blunt I just rolled up and sparked it up. I took ah couple pulls from it before I passed it to Nick.

"So," Nick smirked, "why the sudden change of heart?"

Bean just had to say something before I could even open my mouth.

"For real, B. 'Cause yo' ass makin' moves and shit like you on ah mission."

"I just realized we not good for each other, so I broke it off. I can't be wit' somebody I'm not vibin' wit'," I said.

They both stared at me like I was leaving something out, but I just looked back at them. Soon they both smack their lips at me causing me to raise an eyebrow.

"This nigga not tryna tell us what we wanna hear," Bean shook his head while grabbing the blunt from Nick.

"No lie," Nick smacked his lips, "Omari know damn well, he wanna just spit it out."

"Nah, y'all niggas want me to spit it out," I laughed.

"Well, fuck you nigga. You ain't smokin' no more of this kush," he said blowing smoke out of his mouth and holding it out for Nick.

I quickly leaned over the kitchen table and snatched the blunt out of his hand, "Nigga, you buggin'."

They both looked at me like I was crazy before busting out laughing. As they were dying with laughter, I leaned back in my seat and took another pull from the fat blunt before smoking O's.

"Son, I can't breathe," Bean laughed as he stomped his foot, "that nigga moved faster than ah crackhead."

Nick threw his head back, cracking up. Once his laughs simmered down, he start talking shit, "On the homies, that nigga be feignin' over some weed."

"Y'all mothafuckas get on my nerves, B," I spat as I mugged them.

"Aww shit, this nigga mad now," Bean smirked. I waved him off before handing the blunt over to Nick again.

"Nah, but on the real.. wassup wit' the changes lately," Nick questioned.

I sighed and smiled, "Aight damn, I'll tell y'all thirsty ass niggas. But I don't know 'cause y'all finna be too geeked.."

"Stop stallin' Omari," Nick said.

I laughed, "Aight. I basically figured out my feelings for Lanae."

Bean looked up and placed his hands on his chest, but quickly stopped when he remembered the blunt was in his hands, "Shit, I almost lit my ass on fire."

"That's what yo' dramatic ass get," I laughed.

"Fuck you nigga," Bean mumbled while patting all over his shirt.

"Hand over the blunt, fool," I said.

"No, the fuck. I ain't get my hit yet," he mugged me.

"Well hurry up nigga," I demanded.

"Both y'all niggas shut up wit' y'alls whinin'," Nick jumped in before looking at me, "now what made you finally realize yo' feelings. 'Cause we been tellin' you this shit for ah long ass time."

"Nigga who you tellin' to shut up," I glared at him as he gave me a blank look, "aight damn... I guess I finally realized it once I start thinkin' 'bout my actions towards her. Shit I don't know, my feelings just became clear when I was talkin' to my mom."

"Well I'm happy yo' ass finally understand what we've been tryna tell you all these years," he smiled.

"Hell yeah," Bean said while nodding his head and passing me the weed, "so when y'all gettin' married 'cause ah nigga tryna be on his mac daddy shit?"

I threw my head back laughing, this nigga is goofy as hell.

"We not playin', B," Nick said in a serious tone.

"Y'all niggas gotta chill," I chuckled, "I'm still keepin' my mouth shut and doin' me until she speak up."

Nick groaned before pinching the bridge of his nose, "I swear y'all make y'alls relationship difficult, for no reason."

I shrugged and gave the blunt to Nick, "That's us nigga, so mind yo' business."

He put his hands up in a surrendering way, "Hey, yo' relationship. I just can't wait to see how long it's gon' take y'all to confess y'alls love to each other like Romeo and Juliet."

"Right, but don't be doin' no dumb shit, like killin' yo' self 'cause then imma have to murk you," Bean threatened.

I squinted my eyes at him then moved them towards Nick. He was shaking his head at Bean.

"I ain't even gon' say nothing," Nick mumbled, "I'm just geeked ah nigga moved back to Harlem."

"For real," I agreed, "we get to kick it like ol' times."

"Yeah," he said before pointing at Bean, "and I gotta teach his goofy ass how to talk to girls."

I held my laugh in as Bean side eyed Nick.

"Dawg, I get bitches. Don't play me," he stated.

"Yeah.. you get bitches 'cause all they want is dick and money. You ain't gon' get Queen wit' how you act now," Nick preached.

"Nigga don't worry 'bout me."

I laughed, "My nigga, welcome home."

"Mothafuckin' Harlem," Nick shook his head.

***

I parked my car in front of my house, noticing all the lights were off. It was around ten at night, so either Brittany was sleep or she already packed her bags and left. It didn't really matter to me because I was moving real soon.

I took my keys out of the ignition before hopping out and locking up my car. As I walked towards the door, I heard noises coming from inside the house. I halted my steps at the door when I realized those noises were moans and grunts.

I know this bitch ain't fuckin' in my bed, in my mothafuckin' house, I silent begged myself I was tripping.

I slowly unlocked the door and stepped in quietly as the sounds got louder and clearer. My blood began boiling as I whipped out my glock and took it off safety. At this moment, I knew I was capable of anything and I knew I was about to probably murder somebody tonight.

When I was outside of the bedroom door, I heard Brittany moaning as the headboard hit the wall repeatedly. My body felt like it was on fire as I kicked down the door and stormed inside of the room with my gun aimed towards the bed.

Brittany screamed and hopped off the nigga's dick, revealing his face. Rage took over my entire body as I watched a smirk form on my worst enemy's face while Brittany covered herself up with the sheets. My nostrils flared up feeling nothing, but pure anger.

As soon as I saw John, the gang leader of Gunners, open his mouth to talk, I released my whole clip into his body. His body jerked when each bullet knocked into him all while Brittany screamed with tears rolling down her face. I stormed over to the bed and lifted up the mattresses before pulling out another gun. I had all kinds of guns hidden around the house for shit like this.

"Omari, wait, wait," Brittany begged with her hands out when I placed my gun on her forehead.

"Bitch, don't say my fuckin' name," I yelled, taking the gun off safety.

"Please, baby.... don't do this," she cried.

"Shut the fuck up," I ordered, "you should've thought about yo' actions before you decided to fuck wit' me! Putain de chienne!"

"I'm sorry, Omari! I love you!"

I glared at her with heated eyes, "Obviously not if you fuckin' wit' the enemy..... et désolé ne suffit pas."

I shot her in between her eyes causing her body to collapse right beside John's limp one. I looked down at my sweatsuit and noticed that I was covered in blood, just like the room. I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed my clean up crew.

"Yeah boss," one of them answered on the second ring. His name was Harry.

"Code 5 at my house," I informed in a dry tone.

"Okay be there in five," he said before hanging up.

I peered down at the two lifeless bodies and grew angry all over again. There's no telling how much shit she then told him about me. She had to go.

I had to say goodbye.
