"Yeah that bitch had me fucked up" I told Lani while we were talking on facetime. "It's been two days since she got her ass beat and she still feel bold enough to talk shit on the internet" she said. We were talking about how Brielle has been on instagram popping off at the mouth. The bitch act like she can't get her ass beat again.

"She wouldn't have got her ass dragged until she had the nerve to come in my shop fake kicking it. Then the bitch said she was going to spit on me. Bitch i'll like for you to try it." I told Lani. I sighed before looking at me and Key's text thread seeing that he haven't responded back to not one of my messages. Earlier today I was getting slow responses from him but I brushed it off now I was getting no replies from him.

I found it weird how now that his baby momma is in town his energy changes towards me. I stayed up waiting for an call or text from him but I ended up dozing off.

I jump up out of my sleep clenching my chest hearing pounding on my front door. I pick up my phone to look at the time and see it was Before walking out of my bedroom I walked into my closet grabbing my bat. I walked downstairs until I reached the front door. I looked out the peephole seeing Key dressed in all black attire. I snatched the door open furrowing my eyebrows.

"Key why the hell are you pounding on my door this late" I asked him seeing him holding a sleeping Merie with her bag hanging from his shoulder. "Ma I need a favor from you" he told me. I scrunched up my face. "Now you need me but couldn't text m-" I began to say until he spoke up saying "Please Noelle I need you right now" in a begging voice. I take in his face noticing something seemed off about him instantly causing me to worry.

"Key what is going on" I asked him reaching up to touch his face. He ignored me before saying "I just need you to watch Merie for me i'll be back to pick her up later". I nodded my head at him before taking her from his arms along with her bag. "Key are you sure everything's okay" I asked him seeing how tense his body language was. He gave me a quick nod before placing a quick kiss on me and Merie's foreheads before rushing off.

I walked in the house locking the door before heading up stairs. Once I walked into my bedroom I laid Amerie down on the bed before tucking her in. I had a bad feeling in my stomach that something was wrong.

Two hours past by and I was still up sitting next to my phone waiting for Key to call and say everything was alright. I kept replaying in my head the look he gave me when I looked him into his eyes. They were black and cold instead of the heartwarming and loving look he always gave me. I was on edge not knowing what was going on. I ended up falling asleep with him being on my mind.

I woke up and picked up my phone from the nightstand to check the time seeing it was I looked over to the right of me seeing Merie still sleeping. I let out a deep sigh before calling Key five times getting no answer.

I got up from the bed to walk over to the bathroom. Once I got done getting my hygiene together I walked into the bedroom to wake up Merie. "Toot wake up" I said to her while pushing her hair out from her face. Her eyes got wide once she recognized my voice causing me to laugh. "Heyyy sleepyhead" I told her as she gave me a big hug. She giggled before asking "is daddy here too".

"No, it's just us. We are going to have a girls day today." I told her while putting on a forced smile. "Yayyyy" she said before jumping up and down on the bed. I laughed while watching her. "Come on let's hurry up so we can make breakfast together" I told her while leading her into the bathroom.

After getting Amerie dressed we headed downstairs to start making breakfast. I decided to make scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, and bacon.

"Is it good" I asked Merie seeing her going in on her food. She nodded her head at me. I chuckled before I started eating. "You want to go to target" I asked her while seeing my phone buzz. "Yesss" she said before taking a bite of her pancake. I picked up my phone thinking it was a text from Key but I rolled my eyes when I seen it was a notification saying someone was going live on instagram.

"Can I get a toy" she asked me. "Have you been on green this week" I asked her. "Yes" she nodded her head up and down really fast. "That's good toot" I told her while smiling at her. "Can I call my daddy" she asked me.

"He may be busy right now but we can try" I told her before going to Key's name to facetime him. He definitely was going to get a good cussing out when I see his ass. On the last ring I was about to hangup until he picked up catching me by surprise. "Daddy" Merie yelled into the phone smiling. "Hey fat" I heard him say through the phone causing me to roll my eyes.

"Lyric let me help make breakfast" she said while flipping the camera around so he could see her food. "She did" he said. "Mhmm. Why you left me?" she told him. "Who momma you is girl" he asked her causing her to laugh.

"Give Lyric the phone fat" he told her. "Daddy want to talk to you" she told me while handing me my phone. "Ma-" he started to say until I hung the phone up on him. He had pissed me off so bad. He can answer the phone right now but couldn't text and say he was safe or not.

"Go get your shoes toot" I told her while putting our dishes in the dishwasher. I got on my phone to get on instagram so I could post my pictures I took while I was getting dressed earlier.

As I was pulling back in my parking garage I could see Key parking beside the parking spot I usually park in. I rolled my eyes before pulling into the spot parking. I watched as he hopped out making his way towards my car. I got out the car before he could open my door for me. I walked towards the trunk popping it open before I walked over to the other side of the car to get Merie out.

As I got Merie out I could see Key getting all the bags from the trunk. "Daddy" Merie yelled at him running to hug his legs since his hands was full. "Wassup fat" he said before leaning down to kiss her on her forehead. "Come on toot grab my hand" I told her holding my hand out as I locked my car doors.

Once we were in the elevator I could feel Key staring at me. But I continue to ignore his presence. He was lucky Merie was here or else I would've been sent off on his ass. The elevator came to a stop before two dark skin dudes got on. One had low waves and the other had dreads. Key started mugging them as soon as they got on.

The one with the dreads was looking me up and down while licking over his lips. I crossed my arms before getting on my phone. Why the hell it feels like this elevator was going slow ass hell. "The fuck you looking at her like that for nigga" Key said while mugging the dread head. I looked up at Key seeing him look like he was ready to beat his ass.

"My bad bro I ain't know that was you" the dread head said while not taking his eyes off of me. "Nigga you must not know who I am" Key said before pulling up his hoodie showing his piece. I pulled Amerie closer to me before saying "bae calm down".

"Nigga you better listen to yo girl" the one with the waves spoke up looking from his phone. "Nigga pop yo shit then" Key said stepping up to the dude with the waves. I pulled on his arm telling him not to do this in front of Merie.

The elevator doors opened once it reached my floor. "Come on babe let's go" I said to Key seeing him not breaking away from the stare him and the dude with the waves was having.

"Watch yo back nigga" Key told him before walking off the elevator. Key was ready to blow both of the niggas heads off the only thing that was stopping them was Lyric and Amerie being there.

Once we were in the house I said "Toot go put your toys and shoes up". I watched as she got the bag with her new toys and her shoes before running upstairs. I turnt around to Key saying "what the hell was that Markeyvious".

"Lyric ain't nobody trying to hear that shit" he said before walking towards the living room. "What the hell you mean. Your child was there Markeyvious." I said following behind him getting loud. He dragged his hands down his face. I scoffed before saying "Ohh so now i'm frustrating you. What the hell been going on with you. First you go ghost on me and have me worried sick. Then you pull that bullshit in the elevator. And now you don't want to talk about it".

"Lyric I had some important shit come up. And them niggas wasn't on shit frr." he said. "Okay I understand shit comes up but you ignored all of my calls and texts. I just wanted to know if you were okay." I told him. "I hear ya ma my bad" he said while rubbing his forehead like I was just aggravating the fuck out of him.

"Your bad. That's not a damn apology Markeyvious." I said while walking in front of him. "What the hell you want from Lyric" he yelled at me causing me to jump. "I just want to know where the hell you was" I told him while yelling. He went silent. "Get the hell out now" I yelled at him while pointing towards the door. I heard tiny footsteps running down the stairs causing me to look up seeing Merie.

Key got up walking towards her. "Do you want to stay with Lyric or go with me fat" he asked her. "I thought you was going to stay" she said while pouting. "Imma come back later fat" he told her while crouching down to her level. "You promise" she asked him while holding out her pinky finger. "I promise" he told her while interlocking their pinky's. He hugged her before he kissed her forehead.

He stood up giving me a quick glance before heading for the front door. Hearing the door slam shut caused me to jump. All I wanted was for him to come back in and tell me everything that I wanted to hear. I felt a tear slip down my face I quickly wiped it before Merie could notice it.

"Come on toot let's go change into something more comfy" I told her before we walked upstairs hand in hand. "Then we can play with barbie's" she said. I nodded my head at her.

We played together for about two hours until she got hungry. I had brought some stuff from Target to make some homemade pizzas. "Which cookie cutter you want to use" I asked her. "This one" she said while pointing to the heart shape. "Okay toot you have to do it like this" I told her while showing her how to put the cookie cutter on the pizza dough.

I decided to go live on instagram. I didn't want to have Merie on my social media without permission from Key so I made sure she wasn't seen in the camera. "Good job toot that look good" I told her as she put cheese over the marinara sauce. "Y'all ass can't cook" I said as I read aloud Lani's comment. "Tell em we chef's toot" I said. "Period" she said making me bust out laughing.

"We did that toot" I told her while giving her a high five. I ended the live before setting a timer for the pizza. As I was cleaning up our mess my mind wondered to Key. A part of me just felt like he was doing some sneaky shit behind my back. That's why I was so heated when he wasn't answering my questions. I started to question did we rush into this.

I sighed heavily before hearing the timer go off. I took the pizza out the oven letting it cool down. Then I checked on the cookies we made after we got done making the pizzas.

"Come eat toot" I called out to Merie as I got done fixing her plate. "You so cute" I told her before taking a picture of her.

"You want ice cream and cookies" I asked her after we got done eating while picking up my vibrating phone. I seen that it was Key I ignored it then put my phone on do not disturb.

"Yesss" she yelled excitedly. I laughed before fixing us some.

I carried both of our bowls into the living room so we could watch a movie. Most likely Merie would fall asleep half way through it. "What you want to watch toot" I asked her as I went to Disney Plus. "Frozen" she said before taking a bite of her ice cream.

Thirty minutes later I see Merie fast asleep on the end of the couch.

I was just about to call Lyric until Dre name popped up. I knew it had to be important for him to be calling me this late. "Yo" I said once I answered. "We found em" he said. Just by the tone of his voice I knew who he was talking about. "Be there in thirty" I told him before hanging up.

"Yo nigga push up" Dolph said to me while we talk over the phone. "I am nigga" I told him as I was leaving Brielle's crib. She was seven months pregnant and had called me to come put together a lot of shit she had got for the nursery.

I pulled up to the party that the whole city had been hyping up for the past week. "Where you at bitch boy" I said to Dolph once he answered the phone. Me and Dolph were first cousins most people would mistake us for being brothers because when they seen one of us they knew the other wasn't too far behind.

Even though he was older that didn't change the bond we had since we were kids. "Nigga i'm finna come outside" Dolph told me before hanging up. We had just handled the nigga that stoled from us.

I tried to tell them niggas that it was too hot to be out tonight but them niggas insisted that we pop out tonight. I seen Dolph come outside the house onto the porch. I started walking up the porch "Wassup nigga" I said while dappin him up. "Wats good pussy" he said laughing.

"Watch yo mouth nigga" I said before slapping his neck. "What the hell going on" I said as we backed up when a bunch of people started rushing out the house. Next thing we know two niggas started hitting in the grass causing a circle to be formed.
