It was four thirty in the afternoon when Key dropped me off at home. He had told me to be ready by eight. After he asked me to go on a date with him this morning I had texted Tae asking if he can get me in for a quick install. He replied back that he could so I had Key rush me home. I was just going to get a simple jet black buss down.

Once I made it into the shop I spoke to everyone before going to sit down in Tae's station. I watch as he came from the back from where only employees were allowed. "Hey hoe" I spoke to him. "Uhh uhhh don't hey hoe me. You could've been told me you needed an install." he told me while walking over towards me. "I'm sorry for the last minute notice but I didn't know I was going to have a date tonight" I told him while smiling. "A date with who" he asked.

Before I could respond I hear the bell on the door ring letting me know someone walked in. I look up to see Sekani causing me to drown my face up. I stood up walking towards him saying "what the hell are you doing here". "I need to talk to you" he told me while looking down at me. Sekani haven't seen Lyric in over three years the most he has seen of her was pictures on her instagram. He noticed how much thicker she was from the last time he saw her. He was staring at her taking in her appearance. Knowing he had fucked up his chance with her hurted him seeing how much she has mutures without him.

"We don't have shit to talk about" I told him while getting loud. "You need to leave NOW" I told him sternly. "Lyric just hear me out" he told me grabbing at my hand causing me to snatch it back. "Sekani get the hell out of my shop you have some nerve showing up to my place of business" I told him with a mug on my face. "How else was I going to get you to talk to me. You don't answer my texts or call." he told me while throwing up his hands.

Everyone in the shop was listening and watching what was going on. But the only person that knew the history between the two in the shop at the time was Tae. As soon as Tae seen him walk in he started heating up his hot comb ready to use it when Sekani stepped out of line.

"I thought that made it clear I didn't want shit to do with you" I told him while growing agitated. "You only acting like this cause of that pussy ass nigga you fw right now" he told me. "It's nun of yo business about who I fw and he damn sure ain't pussy. The only person I fucked with that was pussy was yo damn ass" I told him while folding my arms together. Out of all the three years i've known Sekani I never seen the look in his eyes like he was giving me now.

Before I knew it he grabbed me by my throat closing my airway. "You think you the shit because you fw him now. That nigga ain't got shit on me." he told me while tightening his grip. I started clawing at his hands before Tae ran over with his hot comb in his hand. "LET HER GO NOW NIGGA" Tae yelled at him while smashing the hot comb on to his face causing him to scream. He let me go making me fall to the floor grabbing at my neck. I started gasping for air.

I look up to see he had ran out. I started crying afraid to even move. Tae came by my side helping me up. I was so shooken up that I was shaking. Marks around my neck started to form. As Tae led me to my office door I heard someone walk up to the receptionist saying "Yes I wanted to book an appointment with Lyric West". "What's your name" the receptionist asked her. "Brielle" she answered. The rest of the conversation faded as Tae opens my office door leading me to sit down in my chair that sat behind my desk. "I'm going to call Lani" he told me before walking out. I started crying the hardest I ever cried. I was too in distress to feel any of the pain.

Once Tae had called Lani she was furious. She hopped in her car knowing that it'll be a thirty minute drive to the shop. She knew Lyric needed someone there with her now. So she called the person that her bestfriend had came close with over the past month or so. "Key where are you right now" Lani asked him. "I was bout to head to the trap. You good?" Key asked her noticing the panic in her voice.

"Something happened at the shop with Lyric and i'm thirty minutes out" she told Key. That's all Key needed to hear before he turnt around speeding towards the shop. "What the hell happened Alani" he asked trying not to think the worst. Lani began telling him everything Tae told her.

Once Lani finished telling him the story he knew that once he laid eyes on that nigga that he was going to put him six feet under and that was on his daughter.

Key pulled up in the next five minutes throwing the car in park before jumping out. He rushed in the shop not seeing her. So he bolted towards her office busting the door open causing her to jump. She thought that it was Sekani. Seeing that it was Key her eyes soften at him. "Mamas" he said lowly before crouching down on the floor in front of the desk chair. Tae walked out noticing how she calmed down once Key walked in.

Key lifted her head up noticing the hand print around her neck. "Imma kill that nigga on my daughter son" he said with anger. He pulled Lyric into his arms noticing she started crying again. "It's okay ma i'm here. I'm not going to let nun happen to you" he told her while consoling her. "I'm sorry that I wasn't he-" he began to say until Lyric spoke up saying "it's not your fault".

The raspiness in her voice was the deal breaker for Key. He was used to hearing her soft spoken voice. He felt like he felled her from not being here. He pulled out his phone before dialing a number once the person on the other line picked up he told them "Yo I need you to find me this person stack". He pulled the phone away from his ear to ask Lyric "what's his full name". "Ke-" she started to say. "What's his damn name Noelle" Key yelled making Lyric jump.

"Sekani Robertson" she rasped out. Key told the other person on the line before hanging up. He walked back over to Lyric asking her "Has he ever put his hands on you before". She shook her head nodding no. Key couldn't believe that this nigga was doing all of this just because she moved on when he did all the wrong in the relationship.

He knew this had set Lyric ten steps back from the progress she was making from moving past the other traumatic experiences she endured while being with him.
