Karan and I reached at my office at right time otherwise I would be late. As I reached at gate of office, I told him, "ok bye."

He was in good mood. He smiled and nodded, "I will come to pick you at evening. Wait for me."

I pouted, "Karan, I can go home myself. You don't need to come."

He said with determination, "i know but I will come so wait for me. Now, you are getting late. See you in evening. Bye." Without getting my response, he left.

I stomped my feet when I saw his back. He is really stubborn.

When I go into my office,I noticed my colleagues gave me with different gaze. I guessed what's going on inti their mind but I didn't react and put my bag on my desk. I sat on chair and started to arrange my desk for work.

Unfortunately, my colleagues had other thoughts. Khusi asked me with gossip tone, "Mita, who was that guy with whom you came office today?"

I replied without looking anyone, "He is my boyfriend. Why are you asking?" I didn't want to lie because my family already knew about my relationship that's why I didn't want to hide from anyone else.

Mahesh asked with shocked expression, "Is he really your boyfriend?"

I looked at him and nodded, "Yeah, do you want to meet him? Actually, he is coming to pick me up in evening if you want to meet."

Pooja said with excitement, "Wow, Mita congratulations." She gave him mocking smile. ugh, that's why I didn't want to be part of gossip. Why did they include me with their gossip?"

Khusi asked in behalf of everyone, "Who is he? When did you start it? Mita, we want all details. He hid his face with hoddie cap but we can say by glance he is handsome. You are really lucky."

May be,if I was in their shoes, I would also react it. But I was not ready to tell them any details. I smiled and told them, "I am sorry. But I have to do work now otherwise boss will scold me."

Shivani said with disappoint, "ok... We will wait for lunch break."

They went to their desks and I rolled my eyes. Karan, seriously you needed to do it. That's why I didn't want him to send me office.

But I was smart. I finished my lunch fastly in lunch break and came back to my desk. I didn't give them chance to ask me anything.

At evening, when I was packing my bag, I received the call from him. I smiled to look at his number. I hoped he told me that he couldn't come to pick me up. But that chance was minimal. As I know him, he will definitely come.

I attended the call, "Hello Karan"

I heard his voice from other side, "Mita, where are you? I already waiting for you in front of your office."

I said with smile, "ok, give me five minutes. I am coming" now he reached and I couldn't do it.

When I came out,I spotted him. He covered his face with facemask but I can recognise him. I went to him and said with smile, "You really came?"

He smiled, "Ofcourse,I promised you that's why I had to come."

Then he opened the door of car for me. I stunned to look at car. The reason was it was not expensive car but it was cheap car. It didn't match with his status. I didn't know from where he got that car. I looked at him and asked with wondering, "What are you doing with this car?"

He said nonchalantly, "First sit. We can talk when I drive."

I sat into car. It was cheap car but car interior from inside was good. He sat on driving seat and started to car.

I was getting impatient to hear his reply that's why I looked at him and asked, "Now tell me."

He smiled and replied, "I don't like we travel to bus or taxi that's why I bought it today."

I asked with confusion, "we?"

He nodded, "From now on, I will drop and pick you up from your office untill I am staying here. "

I asked, "Then when are you going?" I am not child that's why I don't need anybody to drop or pick me.

He smiled brightly, "When you will agree to marry me."

I looked at him with widened mouth and asked a nonsense question, "If I never agree to marry you, will you stay like it forever?"

He nodded without hestitation, "Yeah, I already told you I don't care where we live or in what condition if we are together. But I doubt your parents will not let us live like it without marriage."

I was speechless to hear it. It was true my parents will force me if he lives here without marriage. Because I can guess the rumours about us in my society or workplace. Today, I escaped from my colleagues somehow but tomorrow, I have to give them answer.

I asked him with polietly, "Karan, I didn't sort of my thoughts till now. Please give me some more time. Why don't you go back first? I will definitely tell you later."

He didn't stop the driving but glared at me, "How much time do you need one month, two month... One year .. two years? Tell me exactly how much time do you need then I will think?"

I made my face. He was tricking me again. Isn't it same I agree to marry?

I lowered my head, "I don't know."

He took deep breath, "Mita, I don't know what's going on your mind? But I am fool. I will not leave untill you agree to marry."

I helplessly told him, "Karan, you don't understand anything. It's true my parents didn't object about our relationship. But they didn't agree. According to my parents, marriage should be between same status. I was stupid in past. I didn't think so much and agreed to be with you. I didn't know why I do it."

He stopped the car a side and looked at me, "Mita, Are you regret now?"

I noticed the sadness into my voice. I looked at him and told without hestitation, "No, I am not regretted. There are beautiful memories of my life the time I spend with you. Without you, I never know what is love. It's true people gets blind in love. But I am not regretted.

The problem is I don't know what to do in this suitation." There were tears inti my eyes. It's true I can't take decision.

He took me into his arms, "Thank you Mita for loving me. I also love you that's why I want us to be together forever in any suitation. Why are you thinking so much? We love eachother. Isn't that enough for us to be together? I knew your family situation from starting that's why I didn't want you came back before our marriage. I hid from you since starting but now everything is in vain."

He took deep breath and continued, "Mita,my family and I don't look down your family and you because of status. Did you ever feel that my parents look down to you or your family?"

I shook my head, "Aunty and uncle are very caring person. Karan, why are you asking it? You misunderstood what I am saying."

He took my face into his palms, "Then tell me. Why did this thought come into your mind? I can promise you my family and I never look down you and your family and we will never. If you think the problem is only our status.

Mita, atleast talk to me what's going on your mind as we can think solution together."

He was right his family and he never looked down my family. Then why am I thinking so much?

After sorting out my thoughts, I told him, "ok, let me think." He nodded and kissed on my forehead, "fine, I am not hurry. But don't think me to chase out."

I only smiled.

It's more than one week and he was staying with my family. I was worried that's why I asked to Sameera and shlok. How is karan managing his business from here? They told me he already planned everything before coming here that's why I don't need to worry about it.

My parents didn't hide from our neighbours that he is my boyfriend and we are going marry soon. Because there was not use to misunderstanding for later. Now, there was rumours into our society that Karan didn't do anything and he will live with my family after marriage. He is dependent on my family for his livelihood. There were many versions of rumours. When I heard, I was boiled with anger. They didn't know anything about him then how can they say it about him.

I knew karan also heard about it. Then why didn't he go back? No guy wants to listen this type of rumours.

In past week, I almost sorted out my thoughts. He was right if we love to eachother and want to be together then why I am thinking so much. If there was any problem later, we will find solution together.

I was observing that my parents was hestitated about our relationship because of our status but with passing time,they started to like him. Actually, he knows how to impressed others.

When karan came to pick me, I asked karan, "Actually, there are a famous fare in Meerut which organized every year for one month. Do you want to go?"

He nodded, "ok... Tell me location."

I told him and he changed the direction. I called my mother and told, "mom,we will come back later.... Yeah, he is with me... Don't worry about our dinner..... All of you eat at time... Ok... Bye."

After half an hour, we reached at fare entrance. Karan parked the car and we started to walk by hand in hand.

I came after many years. When I looked familiar stalls, I smiled brightly and told him, "How is it? It is exact same since many years. Look at stalls, they are exactly like when I came last year."

He smiled, "It's really beautiful."

I said with confident, "It's only entrance. Let's go inside. There will be more fun. There is softie stalls inside. I can say with confident. You never ate this tasty softie."

We went inside with cheerful mood. I told him mostly everything about my childhood memories which related to fare. He was listening carefully.

We are softie and as I expected,he liked it that's why we are again. We visited many stalls and bought many things.

At last, we reached at wheeler roaring swing. It was huge. I asked karan, "Do you want to ride it?"

He nodded and we enjoyed it. We could see view of whole fare from above sky.

At last, we reached temple. The temple is famous because there is mosque in front of temple.

We bought the pack of puja stuff and went inside. We prayed together in front of God. There was a peaceful atmosphere around temple. I felt relaxed.

After praying, I told him, "Karan,let's sit here." I pointed towards on bench

He agreed and we sat on bench. I looked my surroundings. I was happy because there was a lot of memories of my childhood related to this fare.

I said him with shy smile while I was looking my hands which were in my lap, "Karan, I agree."

There was a silence between us. I got nervous that he understood it or not.

I raised my head with nervousness for looking his reaction. I looked at his bright smile, "Mita, what did you say?"

I smiled and nodded.

He asked again, "Are you sure?"

I nodded again, "You are right. We can solve together other problems later if we are together."

He took out a box from his pocket. Before I could Understood what's going on, he slipped ring into my finger and said, "Mita, now you can't go back from your words. I will talk to my parents for arranging our marriage date. I hope before two months we will get married."

I was speechless after hearing it. It seemed he already plan everything. I came my senses and asked, "You already planned everything?"

He nodded without thinking, "Yeah, I was only waiting for your approval."

I looked at ring which was fitted into my finger perfectly and asked, "When did you buy it?"

He told while looking at ring on my finger, "A time ago. You don't need to know. But the main point is it reached at it's right place."

I could guess that's why I don't need ask anything but said, "Thank you karan. It's really beautiful."

He raised the box towards me and said with smile, "Now your turn."

I looked the pair ring into box, "Oh"

I took the ring and slipped into his finger. I looked at temple infront of us and prayed silently, 'God, please bless us.'
